What was your reaction when/what were you thinking when...?

 

Roxas said "where is she?" in 358/2 Days?

It was at the begining of the game so you expect it to be told to you fairly soon, I just didn't give it much importance, as it was in a cutscene that wasn't possible to relate to many things at the time (I must say, Days was the first KH game I took seriously, so I didn't know much about KH's story; I was too young when I played KH1 and CoM for the first time).

 

 

EDIT: I think that asking what your reaction was, or what you thought when Xigbar said "as if" for the first time could be a nice question

Hmm...it's been so long since I've played Days, that I don't really remember that particular cutscene...

i Didn't really know who "she" was until later in the game. Plus when I first played this game I was like 8 so i didn't really know much except to bash these black things with my keyblade...

Axel: "What's that about?"

 

Roxas: "It's been that many days... since I first joined the Organization, man, time flies"

 

Axel: "So, you've got the number memorized, don't you?

 

Roxas: "Yeah, I've got to hang onto something, right? It's not like I remember anything before joining the Organization, do you remember? I acted like a zombie"

 

Axel: Well, the first week, you could barely form a sentence... but come one, you're still kind of a zombie!"

 

Roxas: "Oh, thanks!"

 

Both: "Ja, ja, ja!"

 

Axel: "Hey, Roxas, do you know why the sunset's red? You see, light is made out of lots of colours, and out of all those colours, red is the one that travels the furthest."

 

Roxas: "Like I've asked, know-it-all!"

 

Both: "Ja, ja, ja!"

 

Roxas: "But seriously, where is she?"

Nothing special, just when Roxas said "Seriously, where is she?" My first reaction was "oh he must be talking about Xion."

Well, the game kind of tipped its hand on who "she" might be by having Xion on the cover, so even if I didn't know the details, I had a pretty good idea what was up.

My thoughts on that event were: "Come on, where is she? Who is this she!? SHOW US THE SHE!!!"

I assumed it was Xion since she was featured on the box art and any other female character wouldn't make sense. it didn't feel like it was supposed to be a mystery as to who Roxas was referring to but idk

you first learned in KH3D that everything from BbS to that point was a plan to create the real Organization XIII?

I was mad, perhaps the maddest I've been in the series. It felt like the writers had taken the five games that I loved an enjoyed and squeezed them in between the bookends of the two games that I didn't care for, superimposing the machinations of a villain who is as bland as porridge onto a host of characters that were infinitely more interesting on their own. Not to mention that it once again was a case of Nomura deciding that any feeling of accomplishment or finality that we might have derived from any of our previous adventures should be erased in order to make-believe that Xehanort is a good villain. 

Hype, hype everywhere, KH DDD is a game that's really worth it and it's got great moments, but the best one is that one, in Where Nothing Gathers, where the 13 Xehanorts appear (and when Lea saves Sora).

What was your reaction/ what were you thinking when...

 

you first saw a trailer for HD 2.8 FCP before TGS 2015 (besides the hype)?

Madness, I decided that I wouldn't buy it and that KH3 would be my last KH game (which I already decided, but KH II.8 made my decision irrevocable).
