King Mickey's visit in the Realm of Darkness

Posted

So, it was stated in the new KH2.8 trailer that King Mickey visited the Realm of Darkness in order to find Aqua. The thing is...when do you think he went there?I believe that it was during KH1 since at the end of the game he appears behind the door to darkness having already retrieved Kingdom Key D.So, do you think that he went to the Realm of Darkness to acquire the keyblade and during his visit he met Aqua?

If that was the case, then Riku probably would've met Aqua too. But that might not be true.

However, maybe he goes there during DDD? I dunno. I don't have any evidence. Just a thought.

EDIT: Oh, it says DURING. I was actually thinking about AFTER, but luckily that was cleared up.

Rock on!

Back when Birth By Sleep Volume 2 was shown as an initial cut scene, Mickey is scene in the RoD with his Star Seeker Keyblade, so if I was Luxord and a betting man, I would say probably post BBS and during the events of KH.

Not really.  I mean Mickey spent the entirety of KH1 (minus the 60 seconds we actually see of him) in the ROD, while Riku spent most of that time running around the worlds trying to find the princesses of heart.  It's completely possible that Mickey ran into her during that time.

Exactly. That's exactly when. Mickey went into the Realm of Darkness to find Aqua and actually found her. The question is, why did he not return back with her and what did the two speak about?

Yes, we know King Mickey was in the Realm Of Darkness to get the Kingdom Key D, but I'm assuming he meets Aqua before meeting Riku! I mean, that makes the most sense, because Riku only saw her once when he was a boy in Destiny Islands! I wonder what secrets Mickey is hiding...?

We'll find out when the game comes out!

Or when Japan gets it early and some youtubers upload the spoilery ending that none of us are going to understand because it's in a language we haven't learned yet.

Indeed, we shall find out!

Oh ho, and trust me, Japan may get the game first, but I'm sure as hell gonna avoid spoilers like the plague!  I don't want people ruining the game for me! D:

I'm hoping that we see some new, humongous, powerful Heartless that Mickey and Aqua would have to avoid in order to survive. I mean this is The Realm of Darkness, source of all Darkness, and it'd be weaksauce to only have the same Heartless or Heartless that Aqua and Mickey can handle. Wouldn't feel as threatening.
