Playstation Allstars may be labelled as a simple Smash Ripoff but that doesn't mean that there aren't people who enjoyed it. It suffered through low budget, little development time, the constant "Smash Ripoff" label, low marketing but that doesn't mean that out of the 1,000,000 units sold that there isn't a dedicated fanbase. We should give this franchise another chance and get Sony to use a bigger budget and put the game in more of a development than before an market the game like it was the PS4.

 

Before anyone says anything, I love Super Smash Bros but I also loved Allstars. Why can't we love both. Also I know that Super Bot (the company who developed Allstars) was shut down but that doesn't mean another company can't get in development or Sony themselves can' make it.

 

For Crash Bandicoot, for Spyro the Dragon, for Croc, for Joel & Ellie, for Cloud, for Sora, for Dart, for Abe and for the classic Dante. We need #PSAllstarsRound2 so share that hashtag to all of your friends and social networks and spread the word as much as you can! I swear that #PSAllsarsRound2 will reincarnate a series that deserves a faithful return on PS4!

Cloud's in Smash. Sora can be too. So can Spyro. So can Crash. I don't know who the others are. Lol.

Sony can totally do a PS All-Stars round 2 

But Crash, Spyro, Cloud, Sora...that's not upto them they don't own those characters

 

As one of the few fans of PSAllStars i'd love a sequel, but if they can't get the rights to those characters i don't think it's really worth it

 

I definitely think the game would benefit from a new gameplay system too, seperate it from smash bros, make it full 3D, like Anarchy reigns and J-stars

Just because Cloud's in Smash doesn't mean he can't be in Allstars. Fun fact for a Namco character Sakurai was originally considering Heihachi from Tekken who was also a fighter in Playstation Allstars. Cloud can be in Smash & Allstars. So can Snake and while it may be an unpopular opinion PacMan sense he is a face of gaming in general and has had just as many Playstation appearances as he's had Nintendo appearances.

When was this confirmed? As someone who follows Smash news very closely, this is the first I've ever heard of this.

 

Anyway, if they make a sequel, it would need a lot of improvements. The awkward combat system would have to be fixed, and it'd need a better roster.

If they can't even get Crash and Spyro in a Playstation allstar game what's the point,its like not having Sonic in the Sega Superstar games or Mario in Smash bros, it makes no sense.But if they can get them then I'd make sense to make a sequel,I would buy it but it'd be cool for Sony fans.
