I used to love it! But unfortunately, it started to get a little bit sucky this year.

Simons absence is gonna hurt things, in a bad way.

well, we had pop idol, then cowell took it over to america and for some reason we switched over to the x factor (exactly the same programme)

 

and yeah, i watch it every year, it's just started again over here

I have a feeling the show will be canceled in one to five years due to the disappearance of Simon and a balanced four judges (this can cause a tie and make it hard to conclude on how someone did).

 

That's just a thought, but I think it will go down hill. If randy leaves then it's all over for the show.

Going to be a LOT harder with out Simon. Sometimes he bugged me with how he critiqued people, but I guess it was probably for their own good and our amusement If they play a song I know (which is like, always) I sing at the top of my lungs until my older brother comes upstairs with a Nerf gun

I did watch it, until last season which just pretty much sucked...a lot. And without Simon it won't be the same. He was basically the only one who was completely honest, he wasn't "mean" he just told it like it is. But yeah, American Idol was my favorite show because it used to rule.

I really only watched it for Simon's comments in the beginning. But now he's gone.. >;

I'll still probably watch the auditions, though it won't be the same.

I loved Simon. He was the best. Does anyone remember in one of the seasons at the auditions when he called one guy a lemur? Man, me and my dad laughed so hard at that. Oh and the guy that sang "Let my people go" With such a low voice....ah those were probably my total favorites out of all of the seasons. I've been watching Idol for about 3 years now. But I really think it's gonna get canceled soon. I mean I heard Ellen quit, and Kara(or whatever her name is) got fired. So it's only Randy right now. They have to find two more Judges.

I don't like American Idol except for the auditions, I used to when I was younger. I don't like it any more though, there aren't that many people with astounding talent, and I never like the music they sing anyways. If I do like the music they sing, they usually murder the song. I haven't watched American Idol in a while other than the auditions, and I don't want to expecially now that simon's gone. The auditions are still funny though, lol that "pants on the ground" guy was hilarious.

American Idol was a great show, I loved it, but without Simon, it's screwed. It might go on for it little bit longer, but without him, it'll fade out soon. :s

I think Simon really made American Idol great. I mean, sometimes I watched just to see what he'd say to people. He wasn't afraid to give his opinion, and definately entertained America in doing it

He's got both Autism (which my brother has) and Terrets, and yet he's still performing. He's amazing.

I love watching the show, though I have to agree: the show pretty much doesn't feel the same without Simon Cowell. My favorite contestants this season are Scotty and James. I thought Rachel was pretty great too because she reminded me of Sara Bareilles, but too bad she was cut out.
