I'm excited to share with you a short teaser for my new fan game in progress-

 

 

This is a project I had the idea for early 2015, and finally was able to start development on

a little over a month ago with the addition of my new custom built PC to my home.

This game is, like Kingdom Hearts 3, running on Unreal Engine at the moment.

Most of what is done is maps, and in progress character/weapon models.

 

This game is supposed to be set on Destiny Islands, but at the current time. Meaning that

because we haven't actually visited Destiny Islands in a few years, there are some changes.

One new area carved out by Sora and friends when he returned from his trips. Also, many areas

we have known before are a bit more overgrown and broken down, that's what time does

to an island! Some of the main island will be made accessible.

 

The point of the game? Just tons of fun! Explore the islands to your hearts content,

play minigames with familiar faces, and find all the easter eggs I've hidden, as well as

all the new paths and other things I've created. And of course, enjoy that zipline we all

know and hate. 

 

So without further stalling, here's the video. It's very short, I know, but that's because I don't

have much presentable to the public yet and a lot that is I want to make a surprise to the players!

**Please note that any and all footage shown in the trailer are of maps that are very

much subject to change, and most likely won't look exactly the same one the game is finished.

 

Also, if enough of you want one, I'll put out a wallpaper of a previously not showcased area.

But it's up to you guys - would you want one of the Secret Place or of the

race track area?

 

Lastly, this is a nonprofit game, and it will always remain free to players. I just wanted to

make something fun for the KH community. It will be available on Windows and possibly Mac.

Most likely not, as I don't have time to make all those models cx

But I put in the poll a question asking what characters would you like to see, and later down the line I'll look there and let that influence the characters included.

Oh wow, even though that trailer was short, damn, it sure packed quite some impressive visuals!  Wow, you've been making this game on your own!?  It looks gorgeous! Ha, lol, so it looks like we'll be seeing the rest of the island from someone else rather than Nomura-san himself!  Hehe, well, I wish you good luck on finishing the game, because it definitely looks awesome!

Very impressive! I'll definitely play this when it comes out!

oh man you oughta enable a track switch feature so you can switch between the upbeat Destiny Islands theme from KH1 and the more relaxed theme from Re:CoM.
