Film Darth Vader set to appear in Rogue One with James Earl Jones voicing

Recommended Posts

Honestly, Darth Vader MUST be in this movie. This movie is supposed to lead into A New Hope which makes it very exciting. We also must see Vader as someone to be feared. Too often people forget how powerful he truly is.

"Witness the power of the dark side."

I'll settle for nothing less than the main protagonists absolutely being destroyed by Vader if he's in the movie, as he should be a powerful menace.

The fact that James Earl Jones is voicing him is good as I consider him the one true voice of Vader.

It's a prequel to Episode 4: A New Hope. Remember the team that fetched the plans for the deathstar? This movies about them.

Damn... Tbh I'm sorry but that sounds kinda boring. I'll watch it anyway most likely. (Then again I thought Ant-Man sounded stupid but it turned out to be one of my favorite movies and is probably my favorite super hero movie)

For me it sounds more exciting than the sequels. We get to see the Empire at the height of its power and help fill in the gaps between Episodes III and IV which George Lucas also wanted to do.

Meh. If he is in it, I hope it's not a major role. Vader already dominated six Star Wars movies, I really want them to give different characters more chance to shine. Rogue One would also be a great place to plant the seeds of the First Order, like maybe a young Captain Phasma or some other nod to indicate that they didn't just spring up out of nowhere in Ep. VII. Making it another Darth Vader movie would kind of kill a lot of that.

Also, if you want to be reminded of why Darth Vader is a badass, you can just go watch the original trilogy again.

Sounds cool and all but I'm going to skip this one and wait for it on Netflix. I'm not really interesting watching another Star Wars in theaters that takes place between Episode 3 and Episode 4.

Good luck finding a modern Disney movie on Netflix.

I don't think he needs to be in every scene but like having the Rebels speak about him and be shitting themselves.

Yeah, that would be pretty nice. It'd be best I think to have him only appear when he's firetrucking shit up, like Jaws but instead of a shark it's a magic space cyborg swordsman.
