January 20, 20169 yr episode IX will probably be delayed as well. that sucks because i was actually looking forward to it. oh well. either way it was coming out in 2017 and that's far enough away to make this change hardly noticeable in the grand scheme of things.
January 20, 20169 yr Author 2 year wait??? This isn't fair There used to be a 3 years gaps between the Original Trillogy movies and the Prequel Trillogy movies, we can´t complain too much.
January 20, 20169 yr Well it was already planned to come out in 2017 so I'm ok with that heck I'm actually fine with it being out here so yeah lol
January 20, 20169 yr I mean its not too big of a delay. It still shows how we'll be getting one new Star Wars title each year. In addition to the main and anthology movies, we're getting continuations and creations of TV shows, video games, etc.
January 21, 20169 yr You know, I actually don't mind having to wait until December! If the movie will end up even better because of the delay, then that's good! The main reason for this is because apparently, there's been a last minute rewrite of the script for Episode VIII, because apparently, Lucasfilm wants to emphasize on the characters introduced in The Force Awakens, to develop them more, ya know? Which can only mean that Episode VIII will be very interesting on the character development side! And I hope this means we'll have extended scenes with Luke training Rey in the ways of the Jedi! As for what this means for Episode IX, well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there! Edited January 21, 20169 yr by The Transcendent Key
January 21, 20169 yr Well, it buys & gives me time to grieve Han Solo's unwanted, uncalled-for, yet sudden, instant, immediate, abrupt death that traumatized me.
January 21, 20169 yr Well, it buys & gives me time to grieve Han Solo's unwanted, uncalled-for, yet sudden, instant, immediate, abrupt death that traumatized me. First off, spoiler. Second, It's having an impact on Rey already, and Harrison Ford himself was the one who wanted it to happen. It's going to have an impact on the story. It's not killing him off for the sake of killing him off.
January 21, 20169 yr What THE hell do you mean, he wanted to bring it upon himself? He means that the actor didn't want to act as Han Solo anymore. Also, if you expect Shulk to reply you, you should quote his post so he knows that you've replied to what he has said.
January 21, 20169 yr But when I try to quote it, it just comes out blank, meaning I get no quote. Same goes with trying to paste images.
January 21, 20169 yr What THE hell do you mean, he wanted to bring it upon himself? It was Ford's idea for Han Solo to die. He wanted Han to be killed back in ROTJ, but couldn't get that to work. He wanted an end for the character. If I remember correctly, he didn't want to be associated just with Han. If you need evidence, it's right here: http://moviepilot.com/posts/3691869 Edited January 21, 20169 yr by Shulk
