There are so many students I want to see more of. I hope this arc goes for a while longer, or that they'll extend the Chunin Exams with all of these people involved in it. 

 

 

 

As fun as that sounds, I don't think the internet can survive another Boruto movie re-adaption.

Let's just say that Boruto really is Naruto's son and I did predict at one point, he would use the same technique that his father used in his immature youth as one of the first transformation justus he ever used...

Really liked the new episode. Just. So much fun.

Chapter 13 of the manga is out!

 

My thoughts:

 

 

Okay seriously: Sarada in her underwear? And ending it off with a sexy glasses pose? Ikemoto, if you want to draw lolis, that's fine, everybody has their own tastes, but I'd prefer it if didn't happen in a ninja manga for kids, I'm just saying. On a similar note, I noticed Chocho in the color page was wearing the same heels as Sarada... pls no sexy underage chubby black girl art...

 

Alright, enough of that, let's focus on more important things:

 

Our serial killer ninja is revealed and I think we just found the closest thing we can get to having a manga version of Charles Manson. Hey, forget Orochimaru and his misgivings, at least he didn't eat people's brains. This guy is whacked the f*ck out.

 

But yeah, now we get to look forward to Boruto battling his guy and his Santa Claus looking fat ass. Given how Corpse Clone Jutsu works, he could easily pull out a lot of different abilities to use against Boruto. It makes me wonder how dangerous he really is and if Boruto might have to resort to his new powers. Probably not, but it's a thought.

 

 

Yeah, things went a bit too far with Sarada in this chapter... Really hope this doesn't become a common thing.

 

As for the actual content, yeah, the Corpse Clone Jutsu's interesting, but also really freaking weird. Still curious to see what this guy can pull though. This fight's probably going to be a breeze for Boruto after the last one, but I'm sure there are still going to be some fun surprises. Also, I really liked the parallel between this chapter's ending and the time when Naruto arrived late to the scene in the Hidden Mist arc.

 

The Boruto manga has concluded its latest arc (supposedly) with Chapter 14, and how did it play out?

 

 

Very straight forward actually, but very effective none-the-less. While not being a huge threat, Shojoji still managed to put up a good fight against Boruto as well as Tento for the chapter, ending with the expected but satisfying climax of Boruto and Tento working together to beat Shojoji... for the time being that is. Still, the action was very fluid as Ikemoto showed his prowess for emulating original author Kishimoto's use of battle panels. Good stuff.

 

 

Also, for those interested, here is some new info that propped up for the anime.

 

WARNING: The following contains spoilers for episodes of the Boruto anime. Unless you're insanely curious, don't peak.

 

 

According to translation source Spiraling Sphere, here are the following episode titles for the next batch of Boruot episodes from next week's airdate of July 26 to August 9.

 

 

Episode 17 (July 26) – Run, Sarada!!

Sarada is delievering to a girl in hospital a plush doll that she likes in the stead of her mother, Sakura. However, Sarada accidentally left the bag of the plush doll on the tram, and chases after it panickedly……

 

Episode 18 (August 2) – A Day in the Uzumaki Household

After Boruto’s sister, Himawari catches a cold, the Uzumaki household is in hysterics. There was that one time before too when things went really wrong due to Himawari……, thought Boruto. That was Boruto’s father, Naruto’s Hokage Inauguration Day. On that day, Himawari awakened her Byakugan, and both Boruto and Naruto thought they were going to die……

 

Episode 19 (August 9) – Uchiha Sarada

Sarada misses her father Sasuke, who she has never met as far as she can remember it. Even if Sarada asks Sakura about him, she dodges her questions, so she ends up unintentionally taking a rebellious attitude. Meanwhile, Sarada finds a picture of Sasuke with a women wearing glasses.

Honestly, for me at least, some of the things in the plot or bit pedantic and obvious in hindsight, but still, there were some moments that I liked a lot and I can't wait to see them animated.
