Shulk 8,623 Posted April 28, 2017 I agree, Ponytail Girl seems really dynamic, and I dig her a lot. Maybe it's just because I like her hairstyle combined with her outfit as well as the fact that she has a bit of a tougher, deeper voice than most of the other girls, but I want to see her do more stuff. Although I still want to see more from Pompadour and Emo Loli Girl. Other people who stick out to me now are the girl with the arm warmer things (26T), kid with the mask (8T), and kid with glasses, scar, suit and tie (15T). And yes, Cat Girl should be KibaTama offspring. Furries confirmed in the Narutoverse. But man, that summon. For a second, I thought Boruto summoned, like, the monster form of Momoshiki from the movie, it was that crazy. Still, first we learn that the locked Tensei-Byaku-whatever-gan is in him, but now he's summoning demons? And does this thing have any connection to the weird chakra monster that possessed Denki and Metal? The preview for next week's episode hinted at that. All I do know is that I'm betting that since Mitsuki is getting involved, Orochimaru is probably instigating this because this is the kind of thing that has his handy work written all over it. He might be on steady terms with the Leaf, but there's no way that he's just fiddling around with lab experiments in his base for fun all day, he has to have another plan up his sleeve. I still remember the end of the Boruto movie teasing that he might be a future antagonist for this series, and I stand by that notion. There are so many students I want to see more of. I hope this arc goes for a while longer, or that they'll extend the Chunin Exams with all of these people involved in it. It's such a fun bunch of characters. Please be KibaTama girl. I definitely think it's connected to that chakra monster... I mean, both were snake-like, and there were hints of a connection. Yeah, I'm thinking Orochimaru's involved now too. Between Mitsuki's arrival and all the snake imagery, Orochimaru's the only option... 1 Firaga reacted to this

As fun as that sounds, I don't think the internet can survive another Boruto movie re-adaption. Edited April 28, 2017 by Firaga Sensei
kingdomhearts45 469 Posted May 18, 2017 (edited) https://www.viz.com/shonenjump/chapters/digital/boruto-chapter-12/5791?read=1 So I was just peeking through the latest chapter and uuuuhh.... Let's just say that Boruto really is Naruto's son and I did predict at one point, he would use the same technique that his father used in his immature youth as one of the first transformation justus he ever used... You might know what I'm talking about. Edited May 18, 2017 by kingdomhearts45 2 Shulk and Firaga reacted to this

Firaga 5,947 Posted June 6, 2017 Chapter 13 of the manga is out! My thoughts: Okay seriously: Sarada in her underwear? And ending it off with a sexy glasses pose? Ikemoto, if you want to draw lolis, that's fine, everybody has their own tastes, but I'd prefer it if didn't happen in a ninja manga for kids, I'm just saying. On a similar note, I noticed Chocho in the color page was wearing the same heels as Sarada... pls no sexy underage chubby black girl art... Alright, enough of that, let's focus on more important things: Our serial killer ninja is revealed and I think we just found the closest thing we can get to having a manga version of Charles Manson. Hey, forget Orochimaru and his misgivings, at least he didn't eat people's brains. This guy is whacked the f*ck out. But yeah, now we get to look forward to Boruto battling his guy and his Santa Claus looking fat ass. Given how Corpse Clone Jutsu works, he could easily pull out a lot of different abilities to use against Boruto. It makes me wonder how dangerous he really is and if Boruto might have to resort to his new powers. Probably not, but it's a thought.
Shulk 8,623 Posted June 6, 2017 Yeah, things went a bit too far with Sarada in this chapter... Really hope this doesn't become a common thing. As for the actual content, yeah, the Corpse Clone Jutsu's interesting, but also really freaking weird. Still curious to see what this guy can pull though. This fight's probably going to be a breeze for Boruto after the last one, but I'm sure there are still going to be some fun surprises. Also, I really liked the parallel between this chapter's ending and the time when Naruto arrived late to the scene in the Hidden Mist arc. 1 Firaga reacted to this
Firaga 5,947 Posted July 22, 2017 The Boruto manga has concluded its latest arc (supposedly) with Chapter 14, and how did it play out? Very straight forward actually, but very effective none-the-less. While not being a huge threat, Shojoji still managed to put up a good fight against Boruto as well as Tento for the chapter, ending with the expected but satisfying climax of Boruto and Tento working together to beat Shojoji... for the time being that is. Still, the action was very fluid as Ikemoto showed his prowess for emulating original author Kishimoto's use of battle panels. Good stuff. Also, for those interested, here is some new info that propped up for the anime. WARNING: The following contains spoilers for episodes of the Boruto anime. Unless you're insanely curious, don't peak. Weedanort 8,787 Posted August 14, 2017 Oh boy, it's time for Sarada to shine I've been waiting for this for a very long time, can't wait to see Sarada meeting Sasuke in the anime x) 1 Firaga reacted to this
Firaga 5,947 Posted August 17, 2017 Oh boy, it's time for Sarada to shine I've been waiting for this for a very long time, can't wait to see Sarada meeting Sasuke in the anime x) Honestly, for me at least, some of the things in the plot or bit pedantic and obvious in hindsight, but still, there were some moments that I liked a lot and I can't wait to see them animated.
