i wouldn't mind something like that in KH3. it would at least make the "go here to find X" plot device more concrete.

the Key to Return Hearts feels like a very flimsy plot excuse to have Sora and co. visit the Disney worlds. if they were actually going into these worlds knowing what they were looking for and then leaving with results, it would feel like actual progress was being made in the story. otherwise it seems like we'll be going to a world to find the Key and then leaving while saying "welp i guess it wasn't there. maybe it'll be in the next world." at that point we're just being strung along for the ride. and sure the point is to just give us an excuse to explore different Disney worlds but they could still give us an excuse that provides us with a sense of progress.

if something like what the OP mentioned was in KH3 i imagine the world map would start out with 3 darkened worlds and according to Yen Sid there should be an Organization member on each one. We land in a world with a clear goal of what we're looking for and as we look for it we get wrapped up into the subplot regarding the Disney characters of that world. Then as we progress that story, the main plot comes back into focus when we suddenly pick up the trail of the Organization member we're looking for. maybe the two stories could intertwine at some point, even. idk! but at least by the end we'll have found our guy and gotten a feeling of progress. That's one less member to find! as opposed to just going through the Disney world and leaving with no solid idea as to where and how we'll find the Key to Return Hearts.

maybe Nomura has more to the Key motive that we've yet to learn and if that's the case then woo hoo. just based on what we know for the reasons we'll be exploring the Disney worlds it doesn't sound like there's a very concrete motive.

I like this idea, it'd give more of a involvement with the Disney worlds rather than just having places to go visit

Okay so i've had this in my mind for quiet some time, and i just want to let it out. Okay so in the latest trailer we see marluxia's nobodies, and i was wondering why the hell they were in the kingdom of corona. So i started thinking, and i came up with the idea that maybe marluxia's somebody was originally from this world as it has something to do with flowers, and maybe yen sid asked sora to look for him and the missing old organization members, as they could have a key role in finding the key to return hearts as they all must've gotten theirs back. Every new world in KH3 could pottentially be the original world for the missing organization members. For example, luxord could be from san fransokyo, because in the big hero 6 movie, at the beginning there was a scene where there is some gambling going on (somewhere at the beginning), and luxord is pretty much a gambler. Maybe larxene is from a treasure planet world because of her relation with electricity, and demyx could pottentially be from hawaii (lilo & stitch) because of his guitar (similar to stitch's ukelele) and lazyness (pretty similar to this secondary character in the movie who always drops his ice cream). So guys what do you think? Lets have a discussion down here!

Eeeeehhhhh sounds a bit far fetched. For one thing there's always a chance that they are the unidentified other members of the new Org, which would explain why Sora encounters those Nobodies, because one of their members, Marluxia, is lurking somewhere in that world. Not necessarily because he comes from there, but likely because he is on a mission there. Plus those are some pretty loose associations you're making up here. I mean you kind of made sense with the Marluxia and Demyx things, but looping Luxord and Larxene into those worlds simply because there were some small instances of their trademarks? That's a pretty weak association to make, considering how that "gambling thing" was more than just a game of poker or something, it was a bot-fight, it was pretty much a mechanical equivalent to chicken-fighting, I think that's pretty far removed from Luxord's whole luck and fate shtick. And while Treasure Planet does tote a lot of technology and robotics and what have you, it's still got a very rustic and Victorian feel to it and there isn't really enough "lightnigny" stuff going on to really justify Larxene's appearance. If anything it's got more to do with space than electricity.

It would actually make more sense to switch the ideas around, have Larxene be in San Fransokyo and Luxord be in Treasure Planet. I mean think about it, a futuristic city with ACTUAL electricity elements going on, Japanese culture thrown in there allows for a "ninja-like" character like her to fit in, and not to mention her attitude would work much better against the protagonists of that world since she speaks with a very modern sense of snark already. And with a world that's already filled with PIRATES, aka Luxord's most favorite playthings, Treasure Planet already feels like a better place where a man as savvy as he can cause trouble in a very cleaver manner similar to Port Royal. There's more to these two characters than just their primary elemental associations and primary quirks, the way they interact with things is a huge factor into how fitting they are for each world.

For the other reasons you've stated though, I could totally imagine Marluxia being at Corona and Demyx being in Hawaii, if for no other reason than those ones. But as to whether they are there or not and if they will have anything to do with Sora's quest, that will have to be revealed later. However, I sincerely doubt that Yen Sid just suddenly knows who all the other Org members are and where they can be found and will send Sora off to stop them, especially in addition to the main task he, Donald, and Goofy are already assigned anyway, finding the Key to Restore People's Hearts. Any encounters with the Org in the game will likely be incidental like in KH2.

You know something?  This theory is pretty interesting!  This would be a great way to introduce the Somebodies we haven't seen yet!  I like where your head's at! :D

I'll happily take anything that incorporates the Disney worlds back into the story again. Plus, I want to learn more about Marluxia, Larxene, Luxord and Demyx and their respective pasts.

Great theory and idea, by the way!

Well for the same reason you stated marluxia shouldn't be in the rapunzel world as rapunzel doesn't revolve around flowers, just the dandelion element is important, but as it is already confirmed, you accept my reasoning. and i don't tend to think of dandelions as flowers. just keep in mind that this is just a theory, and i could be totally wrong here. BTW, as for yen sid, he might have asked lea everything he needs to ask , so i guess he actually does know the older organization members. he must've wanted extensive data from him, otherwise he wouldn't have let him start his training

My point is that I don't think he is going to go send Sora out to go "Organization hunting", he'll likely just come across them whenever he is trying to accomplish his already established mission.

I don't have an issue with this on the whole; excluding Luxord. He was based on purpose around the theme of the English Gentleman; like Xigbar was deliberately given a Surfer laid back approach. Therefore I don't see how Luxord would be from San Fransokyo; which is based on Tokyo and San Francisco respectfully. Also look at Luxord and then look at Ansem the Wise and tell me there's not a similiarity there. Also whilst Demyx could be from Hawaii; I'm leaning towards him being more towards a Twilight Town resident; I mean I could imagine him chilling with his Sitar over looking the train track into the distance. Going back; I can see members of the old Organization visiting new worlds in Kh3 which we haven't; but I feel as if having them come from there would be a bit sloppy and more convienient than anything.
