14 YEARS AGO today (at the time of this post, it's 1am GMT, March 28th for me) Kingdom Hearts 1 was released on the PS2 in Japan. 14 years ago was the very first release of a Kingdom Hearts game, EVER. 

 

My favourite game of all time, KH1. Happy birthday old friend .

The graphics for KH1 were ahead of their time imo. They go so under appreciated.

 just goes to show that having stylized graphics, as opposed to realistic, goes a long way in terms of how a game ages. 

its a colorful and vibrant game that doesn't make you strain your eyes to make out blurred models or environments like some games that have aged poorly.
