The Osaka team is great. I absolutely love their work. It's too bad they don't get the credit they deserve.

I'm straight with them or anybody who makes a Kingdom Hearts game. To be honest I didn't catch the flaws that other folks mention about the Osaka team. I really love the battle system from BBS and DDD

Oh yeah, Birth By Sleep is amazing!  It, along with Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts II, are my favorite entries in the series!  Yes, the command deck combat style for BBS was a great idea, and

Oh well, not everyone uses the terms the same way I do, ya know?  Hehe, but yeah, I'm excited for the game, and I'm excited for it to be the best KH game to date! :D

The thing that worries people is what if it isn't the best KH game to date? What if it turns out absolutely horrible? What will be everyone's reactions then?

Will there be more blind acceptance of all the flaws, or just a huge wave of disappointment from everyone?

Nothing I've seen from the trailers so far has given me any faith in Osaka Team, I just hope they don't firetruck it up as bad as I'm expecting.

My way of looking at it is: these are paid professionals who do this for a living; therefore regarding they aren't completely incompetent then let them get on with it. Also as a company; I can't see SE allowing anything Which would cause a bad reaction at all. That saying; I do respect people's views regarding the air combos and OP ability/spell. However seeing as AI is supposed to be greatly improved, this should diminish the risk of an OP move. Until we physically play the game, this is one ' fear' we won't be able to tell. Overall; things seem ok thus far; but continually knocking people paid to a job; doesn't achieve anything and none of the games gameplay has been an overall disaster and Balloon was useful against dealing with Julius

The Osaka Team needs to earn our support. Why should we just hand over our support without them truly proving anything to us yet? Once I get my hands on 0.2, then I will be able to truly give the Osaka Team my support or not.

Personally I don't see how "improving AI" can reduce the risk of an OP move. Your own moveset is still very vulnerable to unbalancing. What's scary is that if Osaka turns lazy and decides not to test KH3 until it's perfection, then the game will suck. We fear laziness because they've shown to be lazy before in the 1.5 and 2.5 ports, which were clearly not tested at all (especially seen in 2.5). Basically what this means is that if they turn lazy and end up not testing KH3 before releasing the finished product, it'll be filled with problems.

Now I'm sure they'll understand how important this is so they won't treat this game lazily like they did in the HD Remasters, but I never get my hopes up, mainly because I'm a pessimist, but also because I really just don't want to be super disappointed just in case KH3 turns out to be a disaster (granted, I'll probably still be disappointed.)

Also, Balloon is the best command for everything in DDD, for every situation ever. Just throwing that out there...kinda shows how much knowledge Osaka has of game balancing.

Don't we all dearie, don't we all.

Indeed, indeed! :3

Well, that is true.  I guess when it comes down to it, people are 50/50 on the game.  It could either be an awesome success, or a failed shot, so who's to know what'll happen?  Only time will tell with the trailers we'll get what new improvements there are to the gameplay features.  Let's hope for the best, eh? :)

Well, only way to find out for sure is when we play 0.2 this year!  We'll get a better feel for the game when we play 0.2, ya know?

Yeah, I agree with you!  Considering that Kingdom Hearts III has been a long awaited game, the people over at Square will want this game to sell by bucketloads, so I'm sure they know what they're doing in terms of management of staff and providing the working schedule for the people working on the game, ya know?  And considering Tokyo Team is soon to be adding their talents to the game, I'm sure we'll get even better gameplay!  We'll see what happens in the future! :)

Well, you raise a good point, and well, considering KHIII is one of the most expected and anticipated games coming from Square Enix, I'm sure they'll want Osaka team to work their very best, otherwise there might be unemployment handouts if the game turns out to be a bust, ya know?  For now, how the gameplay will end up is totally a mystery, so we can't even gauge whether or not the game will be successful on that count.  0.2 will be the closest thing we'll get to KHIII for now, so hopefully, we'll get a glimpse of how Osaka is working their magic on Kingdom Hearts III, ya know? :3

In relation to the AI point. My issue was that the AI was practically useless and enabled you to abuse the OP. Whilst an OP move set might still be there; smarter AI might be able to counter such move set. Eg; say the new Aero spell shown in the trailers can obliviate enemies easily; smarter AI might identify another enemy taking damage and take defensive measures or fleeing such an Attack. It can be done very easily and we know for a fact that the enemies will be a lot smarter in the game
