Posted April 26, 20169 yr http://www.siliconera.com/2016/04/25/nis-america-no-longer-publisher-atlus-europe/ A sad day for European Atlus fans indeed. This will possibly mean that Europe will have to wait a few years after North America/Japan gets new Atlus games. Or may never get them at all. I feel sorry for any European fans out there.
April 26, 20169 yr As long as we get Persona 5 a few days after or atleast the same week as NA I'm happy
April 26, 20169 yr I'm used to the bullshit. Literally at this point, only Japan and the US get anything good. Games early Events like E3, PAX, etc Better versions of Collector's Editions, etc Better versions of the Pokemon TCG in the US. I.e figure with the Charizard Collection Box in the US, better pull rates, etc Less censorship in Japan Japan make godlike RPGs Japan get JRPGs much much earlier than anyone Literally anyone in between gets nothing. It's kinda BS.

It's kinda BS. Wow, that sound terrible. And yeah, in the gaming world, America & Japan are pretty much treated as first and second class (makes me glad I live in America lol).
April 26, 20169 yr Yeah, this is why in the dysfunctional family of gamer fanbases, Eu/Pal regions tend to be the youngest sibling while US and Japan are the middle and eldest children respectively. One get's way too much attention, one barely gets half as much, and the other is sometimes left scrapping by with barely anything at all. Guess it's not just Square who plays favorites.
April 26, 20169 yr As long as we get Persona 5 a few days after or atleast the same week as NA I'm happy Your best bet is to import the American version. Since the game was announced, Persona 5 has never been confirmed that it is even coming to Europe. Based on this latest news unless a new publisher is found then importing is the only option.
April 26, 20169 yr SEGA of Europe exists. There was a news report ages ago that SEGA now handles all distributions for Atlus. This is nothing more than clickbait.

Every Persona game since 3 has been released in Europe so I think it's pretty safe to say that it will be released in Europe (if the find a new publisher that is) but depending on the different release Windows for NA and EU I might import it Edited April 26, 20169 yr by FlyingEggplant
