yeah in the game guide (just got it today!) it says that once you get either captain dark or captain justice on the comand board, the D-link is acquired randomly, so idk, either you get it immediately once you open him on the board, or when you open him on the board it is randomly acquired, idk

The guide says he unlocks randomly after you see him on the command board, but all the streamers unlocked him first time after seeing him on the command board after they finished their match, so i'd say you have a high chance of unlocking him first time you see him. His D-Link looks fun to use.

I also have a question...can you name some attacks or shotlocks

 

I'm pretty sure you can only rename the finish moves.
