Hello! I just started the game recently and was wondering which of my medals are good and which ones I should focus on leveling first. Thanks in advance for the help!

That's a list of all the current medals in the English game. It's always being updated if there's anything new.

Here's what I think the best medals could be as of right now:

Power - Black Coat Riku, KH1 Cloud, Valor Sora, Mushu, Paine, KH1 Riku (And possibly KH2 Leon Ver. B.)

Speed - Tifa, KH2 Sora Ver. B, Master Form Sora, Peter Pan, Stitch (And possibly Rikku.)
 

Magic - KH2 King Mickey, Genie, Auron, KH2 Leon Ver. A, Wisdom Sora (And Possibly KH1 Yuffie and Yuna.)


(Also, anyone can feel free to tell me about some that I should add.)

I have a 50% guilted kh1 riku. He sucks in raids, 1 energy don't do that much damage. Great on missions though

I may need more say on this one. I suppose he's pretty good the more turns, but I've used a couple of 6 star KH2 Clouds and I don't think it was the best compared to others.

Pretty much as long as you fully level them all up and evolve them all (within reason of your Keyblade's cost limit), they can all be pretty useful. But yeah, some medals are a bit more effective than others. What I find is that the more "cool" characters tend to be more effective (KH and FF characters like Sora, Riku, Cloud, Leon, etc.), with smaller side characters like Selfphie, Pence, Jiminy, etc. being only useful for buffing but not much for attack (not entirely "useless", but pretty close), and Disney protagonists like Simba, Mushu, and Donald and Goofy falling somewhere in the middle, mostly towards the useful side. At least, that's my opinion anyway.

do you mean other people's KH2 cloud? if so, you dont get the bonus damage from having it in the last slot, he would basically end up dealing whatever damage he would do as if he was the first medal you used so you miss out on a bit of damage.

I'd mostly attribute that to the fact that medals like Wakka are more common to come by and thus it's relatively easier to boost them all up enough to fuse them and max out that power bangle, where as those like Riku are harder to come by so odds are you won't even have enough of him to max him out. But that's just where I am currently so maybe I'm looking at it wrong.

Minnie's pretty good if you come into a situation where you need to heal. I guess that's just your decision.

 

Also, what you said about not seeing a Zootopia medal, you only get those from the avatar boards. Unfortunately both of them cost 3000 jewels. I've had several people say that the medals aren't worth it anyway. Unless you want them for collect reasons, I wouldn't bother.
