You know in the Japanese version of Birth by Sleep, Braig combines his to weapons in order to created one Sniper weapon.

 

Well watching the English game streamed by (ZG)Cyberman65, i saw that Square Enix has censored that part and he longer combines his two weapons. Like they did in the English version of Kingdom Hearts 2 in the Xigbar fight.

I don't understand why they does it? They censored it in KH2 with Xigbar now also with Braig in BBS.

What I don't get is why they didn't do it in Days? He combines both his weapons into a sniper while his doing his limit break. Why didn't they change it then?

It's the same reason they changed the pirate's rifles to "crossbows" in KH2: Disney doesn't want guns (Jerks!). If Braig/Xigbar don't combine their weapons into a snper rifle, they could just be seen as bowguns, not "real guns". It IS stupid, considering (like JTD95 said) Xigbar uses the rife in his limit break and Barbossa and Jack's pistols aren't altered in KH2.

 

And no, Braig doesn't use the sniper scope against Aqua.

For gods sake, guns are apart of life, you can't hide them from existence. Disney needs to knock this nonsense off.

Ok, this is really stupid.

I don't like the censoring AT ALL, but it doesn't make sense that Disney would want Square to censor it for countries other than Japan.

Makes absolutely no sense at all. =/

 

And what Ansem brought up doesn't make sense either. If Disney didn't want guns, then why did they allow there to be pistols?

Anyways, this is one of the things that makes me dislike NA Square Enix. It's stupid and pointless to censor something this...mild. Its not like kids are going to go around shooting people if they see Braig put his guns together. Its just...stupid.
