In the scene where Riku defeats Xion, he says this "But you can't fight fire with sparks. This keyblade, it's a sham." What does he mean by that? If Xion doesn't have a keyblade, that just makes it a regular ole' summonable blade. And that's all that Riku has at the time, a regular ole' summonable sword, no keyblade. So wouldn't that be just fighting sparks With sparks?

I think he was kind of saying that it wasn't hers. As in, she was created from Sora's and Roxas's memories, so it's a spark--part of someone else's flame. But, meh, maybe not.

I think by "fire" he meant Sora's Kingdom Key and "sparks" by Xion's Kingdom Key. In other words, I think that Riku means that Xion's keyblade is much more weaker than Sora's

I believe he is referring to himself or like heartless101 stated saying Sora's keyblade since his Kingdom Key is the original and not Xion's. It's mainly referring to the fact that it's fake and that Riku realized that Xion is a "replica." I also think it means that Riku could tell the difference too because he has fought with Sora when Sora had the Keyblade and Riku could tell at that moment exactly what Xion was and how she'll never match up to Sora or was even meant to wield a Keyblade at all.

Lots of characters fight Heartless without keyblades, the people at Hollow Bastion, the Organization, and all of Sora's party members.

Any weapon can defeat the heartless. It's just that, for Emblems, their hearts would only be released when destroyed by a keyblade.

Pretty much. It's just a metaphor to say that her Keyblade is fake and that she's not a true wielder.

It being the wiki should give you enough reasons not to believe it. Soul Eater isn't a Keyblade, it's a sword. That's why the summary says "A sword that swims with darkness. Possesses high Strength."

I never said that. I just said, like the wooden sword, it could be used as a medium through which a true Keyblade could manifest. There's no requirement that says that could only be done through a Keyblade

I think we're forgetting the fact that after Xion's 'death', Roxas had access to both Sora's and Ventus's Keyblade. And due to the fact that Xion is an imperfect replica of Roxas, leeching his memories and so forth, we could probably assume that grants her access to either Sora's or Ventus's Keyblade (not exactly sure which, cos Roxas could have been using one or the other).

 

Taking that into account, I think Riku either thought the Keyblade was fake, due to Xion's apparent lack of skill, or that she wasn't the true weilder of it, because she inherits it from Sora.

Already been confirmed that Xion had a fake Keyblade (see Days Ultimania). Roxas was always using Sora's Keyblade, and after Xion died, he awakened Ven's.

And, he didn't believe that Xion was a part of Sora at the time (and as Sora is the only Keyblade Weilder he knows at this point, aside from Mickey, anyone else with a Keyblade must have a fake. It's basic logic, doesn't mean it's true).

Considering Days only has 30 cutscenes.

If you're going to ignore every single bit of evidence against you, then of course you're right.
