If they had KH figures I could have maybe invested my time, but there wasn't much for me. Hope the devs get work quickly enough, anyway.

Definitely a shame. There were still tons of characters that deserved to get figures.

Although I haven't played the games, I always wanted to play them and it's incredibly sad how this series is ending. I always found them more interesting than the other toy video game figures (except for Amiibos which are amazing yet hard to find)

I never played Disney Infinity even though I have wanted to. This kind of in a way emphasizes how great and supreme Kingdom Hearts is as a franchise and series. At least Disney has that still going strong for over a decade.

Though I never played the games, I do feel bad for the people that were laid off, so I hope that they can be able to find new jobs soon!  As for all Infinity fans, I'm sorry about this whole situation, ya know?

I never played it.

I like buying figures and stuff to display in my room, but I'm still not a huge fan of these whole toy based games except Amiibos which I do like somewhat.

Honestly it was such a shame. Say what you will about the toys to life model or the games themselves, but as a Disney fan it was a great way to get figures of your favourite characters. Honestly it's very similar to amiibo for me.

The figures are a good reason as to why I am upset. I would've loved a Goofy figure to sit next to Donald Duck and both iterations of Mickey Mouse. I would've loved to have seen a Genie, Robin Hood, or [insert endless list here of classic characters] figure. Most importantly, I would've loved to have seen a collaboration with the Kingdom Hearts series outside of an incredibly expensive to obtain Kingdom Key and a stupidly rare Mickey power disc.

I really liked Disney Infinity 3.0 and it's fun playing co-op in Toy Box mode. Like just yesterday I got the chance to play online with my 6 year old sister who lives in a different country and we had a blast. It's a game that appealed to all ages and for me that's the most important reason why it's a shame it's shutting down. I'm not sure how long the online will even stay up either which means I probably won't get to experience that online co-op that I enjoyed so much yesterday.

From an outside point of view it's incredibly easy to dismiss the game as a cash-grab. While I was dismissive of the first and second game because of the price (only opting to buy figures on their own), I was glad I gave 3.0 a shot. I can't build levels for my life or anything and a lot of the mechanics are overwhelming, but I don't hate the game. It makes the Disney fan in me love jumping around this world full of wonderful easter eggs.

It's a shame that Disney couldn't spend more money on trying to expand the game even further. I guess they gotta pump millions into live-action films nobody asked for instead.
