Hey people ^3^

For multiple reason's I think this needed to come out but as you probably found out when you clicked the topic title or figured it out but...

I am transgender.

I have been transitioning before I even joined this website...while on HRT.

I've been struggling with this for the majority of my life, not to mention anxiety/deep depression/doubt and suicidal tendencies, I  figured that this place need's to know.

uh..

So yeah that's/this is me.

So which gender are you now? Did you have surgery? Apologies if any of these questions are bit too personal. Just curious.

In my opinion, it should be your close friends who should know about this, but if you want to share it to everyone here, who am I to stop you?

Seriously though, sorry to hear about the anxiety and suicidal thoughts. There's always someone on KH13 to talk to if you need it. I'll keep you in my prayers.

I also agree with this statement.

Theres no need to be ashamed. The most important thing is you being comfortable with whom you are.

If your friends decide to judge you negatively then you might want to reconsider how genuine that friendship is.

Other than that, march on with your head held proud and high!

Alright, let me correct myself then

It should be your friends who should know about this first.

Unless you hide real hard, it's only natural that people would find out

But hey, if you found out who you really are, then congratulations :)

I wish you the best of luck! If you ever need to vent or something I'm open and I'm sure many others would be too. After all we like you for being you, not what gender or whatever you are. So you do what feels right in your heart and I, and I'm sure many others, will support it. So worry not >:)

It's very brave of you to come out and I respect your courage. I wish you nothing but the best.

Okay. I think it would be better if you told those closest to you first about your issues and then come to us. It's more proper and they know you better than we know you. They're your shoulder to lean on.

I agree that this type of stuff should be first shared personally with friends, family, and loved ones before bringing it to the public eye. But of course you are free to talk about anything on the forums! Your gender shouldn't matter to anyone. Be you Trans or not that aspect of you shouldn't matter and reflect who you are, but your personality. Because by advertising you are this or that, generates a stigma and can often overlook your character, which matters most. In my eyes at least.  You aren't "that trans person", you are that great person who happens to be trans. See the difference?

I literally just registered to reply to this and I have been a visitor for years, but you are awesome! People under estimate the freedom it gives to you to tell people something about yourself. You don't necessarily need to tell your friends first or anything. I am a 23 year old man, and have various friends from all walks of life! If you ever need any new friends or people to talk to or any advice, I have friends who have transitioned or are gender fluid and gender queer, totally hit me up and I can introduce you on social media or whatever or in private conversations, i know how awesome it can be to experience other peoples stories and share your own. I am not curious what gender you identify at all, you are a person, a human being and everyone should be willing to extend their heart out to one another based on that level alone. Much love friend  and kudos to you :)
