This game looks completely ridiculous, yet absolutely amazing. Firaga and I have been going crazy over the new announcements for a while now, it's nice to see that other people are interested, too. I really hope this gets released outside Japan. We got Extreme Butoden and we're finally getting all of the updates that Japan got for that, so I'm hoping that means that Fusions will follow as well. Not going to lie, I'm probably more interested in this than Xenoverse 2. I love fighting games, but I love RPGs even more, and this one is going all out with some crazy new fusions. It's like everyone's fusion fanfictions are coming true.

Oh hey, that last one's the screenshot that I grabbed from that one commercial or whatever the thing you sent me was. Nice to see that's getting put to use outside of showing a couple people in a group chat

Maybe they'd realize that it'd be nice to put fusions back into the console games. Fusions was a mechanic that Xenoverse sorely missed. Hopefully we'll have the option to fuse while in battle in Xenoverse 2, maybe it can work like the Budokai Tenkaichi system does.

The boxart looks pretty nice. Extreme Butoden was just a ton of characters all standing there, this one looks a lot more detailed.

... ahem... but in all seriousness, the gameplay and aesthetics look really well done. Also new fusion confirmed (sort of) in Kid Goku and Teen Gohan (that one fusion guy next to Piccirin in the last trailer).

HECK YES, GINE. I haven't even read the chapter she's in, but this is still cool. I have a soft spot for the deceased mothers of heroes, I guess.

 

Hoping she can fuse with Videl just so I can have someone on the team for her to fuse with (and because Gine). I can see a Gine/Pan fusion being more likely, though.

 

I would have liked to see a better look at combat, but it looks nice so far.

Can't believe I missed this, but ShonenGameZ.com posted an an article a couple days ago with a new (translated) scan for the game. The scan goes into detail about the game's battle mechanics as well as the promotional bonuses for SSJB Goku and Gohanks EX.

Saiyan Island has posted a poorly done article compiling information on all the new fusions for the game and have included some recent fusions from some new (untranslated) scans.

These new fusions are Beerus/Whis ("Beerhis"), Freeza/Cell ("Cellza"), and Great Saiyaman/Captain Ginyu ("Ginyuman").

Super hasn't been confirmed yet, has it? That would just make this even more insane.

A brand new trailer has been released.

 

Keep in mind: there isn't much new info in this trailer aside from a couple of character confirmations, new story cutscenes, and gameplay mechanics.

Can they just give us an English localization already?

The combat's kind of reminding me of Chrono Trigger, given that it looks like position is really important in battles (I'm sure other RPGs do that as well but CT is what always comes to mind for me). Akira Toriyama art helps, too. That just makes me even more excited.
