HikariYami 354 Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) Now, I don't know much about this "Rebirth Theory" everyone is throwing ideas around. However, unless I missed it, I haven't seen one concerning the names. We all know that Kingdom Hearts symbolism lies within a lot of the names- especially with main characters Sora- Sky However the Kanji for Sora (or in Chinese is Kong) 空 has many meanings such as sky, air, void/empty. The last two translates into Latin as Ventus and Vanitas Riku- Land Kairi- Sea Kairiku- Land + Sea Aqua- Water Terra- Earth, land But the fortellers names are Invi- Possibly means to help or assist; is it a variation of envy? (Latin) Gula- Throat (Latin) Ira - Anger Aced- Skilled or expert (Latin) Ava- Grandmother. --- Ephemera means short lived, brief - Also the scientific name for the mayfly which lives an extremely short amount of time (latin) Vulpeus- fox I'm behind on this Unchained Chi stuff because of school but yeah... Y'all can continue with the theories. I will lurk. Edited June 9, 2016 by HikariYami
Awesome Sauce 634 Posted June 9, 2016 (Latin) Ava- Grandmother Nope, not happening. There is no way that it means what I think it means. 3 KHUndertaleFan25, The 13th Kenpachi and Mr. Boba reacted to this

Y'all can continue with the theories. I will lurk. Just here to clarify, but this is potential spoilers for Unchained χ, mmmk? The foretellers names actually have a specific theme going on; they all correspond to sins. Ava- Avarice which is Latin for extreme greed Aced- Acedia latin for sloth Gula- Latin for gluttony Ira- Ira means wrath Invi- Invidia, or envy. Not only that though, their respective animal (with the exception of Gula) correlates with their respective sin in the Ancrene Wisse. I hope this helped some! 1 Kittenz reacted to this
Soul_Seeker 753 Posted June 10, 2016 I honestly don't believe in the rebirth theory. It seems too far-fetched for Sora, Riku, Kairi, etc. to be reincarnations of ancient Keyblade wielders. Although I wouldn't mind if it was true, I feel it would take away all the charm of them being special if they were just revealed to be reincarnated Foretellers. As for the whole Grandmother thing...in the words of the mysterious hooded man: "Nah, not possible." 1 Mr. Boba reacted to this
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted June 10, 2016 (edited) Nope, not happening. There is no way that it means what I think it means. R-Right. There no way it means that. She'd be over 100 years old. A-and it's not like Keyblade Wilders have a longer natural lifespan than normal people. NO! ^ You go away. S-Stay out of this! KHUndertaleFan25 2,858 Posted June 10, 2016 Nope, not happening. There is no way that it means what I think it means.Bruh... If it actually meant that, I would be scared to see Kairi's Grandmother in a whole new light .
