So, as you may have heard from E3, CRASH IS BACK.

They're remastering the original PS1 trilogy for PS4 from the ground up.

Now, as I recently bought all the Crash Bandicoot games (I'm obsessed, I know), there's a few things I'd like to see changed or kept.
 

• Each game keeps its own physics. I say this mostly because each game's levels are based around Crash's specific controls and physics within each game. As easy as it would be to just give Crash his controls and physics from Crash 2 (best controls and physics ever), Crash 1 only needs some tightening up on controller delay and the slippery controls.
• Fix the save system for Crash 1. Anyone who's played Crash 1 knows how terrible the save system is (you have to not die in a level and break every box). So I propose two options: either allow saving from the world map or allow us to die and still get a gem at the end of the level.
• Keep the original voiceovers IF YOU CAN. The original voice acting for Crash 1 and 2 were fantastic. Crash 1 had only a few lines of dialogue that should be redone (it's all done by one guy and Clancy Brown's Cortex from 2 was SO much better). But I do realize some of that audio may not have the right quality needed for PS4. I'd love to see Lex Lang (the most recent voice actor for Cortex) and the other modern voice actors (minus Tiny, cause Tiny is a massive brute and not Cartman) take their riffs on the original script and dialogue.
• If this remaster succeeds, bring back Spyro with a remaster. I love Spyro. Spyro was a great trilogy on PS1. It was honestly sad to see Crash come back in a big way while Spyro lives on life support from a game series he isn't really even in anymore (Skylanders, which Crash is also coming to). I say that if the demand is there for Crash's remaster, they should work out bringing his PS1 rival back as well.

i'd just like 1 to control a little better

I would LOVE to see Clancy Brown return as Cortex, he's the best and my favorite. On top of that, it would be nice to get some new levels and things added to the games as well. Kinda like how the Odfworld remake kept the spirit of the original, but also added new stuff for a surprise.

Just take Crash out of Skylanders. Please, please don't subject him to that. I mean, look what happened to Spyro! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!

Yeah the save system in Crash 1 makes it way harder than it actually is. 

Crash 2 has the most glitches that need fixing and for Crash 3 the tracks on the race levels need to be a touch wider and the AI on those sections would be nice because they literally stick to a fixed path and block the track, the amount of times I crashed into one during the relc challenges... You don't even want to know.

Crash is in Skylanders no matter what. He's going to be a PS4 exclusive like Donkey Kong and Bowser were in Superchargers

Yeah the save system of the fist game was terrible,they'll probably fix it for the remaster.Also one thing I'd really like them to fix is making a 100% playthough easier and less confusing becausw sometimes you had to backtrack in levels but the camera wasn't made to explore the levels and I've heard other things so I never bothered completing a Crash game 100%

Yeah Crash 3 was much easier to 100% complete because it was clear what you had to do for each challenge. But in Crash 2 some of the secrets were things you really had to know the game well to find. Some of the secret warp room levels involved some obscure things like purposely jumping on fake Nitros to find them. In 3 it was much simpler to figure out what to do but still a challenge actually doing ti. 

This would be pretty awesome!  As a person who didn't play the three games completely, I'm more than stoked for the Remasters, and I'll be happy with what they end up bringing!  Crash is back!
