I'm desperate to see their new duds in the kingdom shader, make some hints towards SRK's interaction in 3. They need their friendship developed because although it says all three are bffs with each other we haven't gotten to see it much. Idk

Nomura confirmed that both Sora AND Riku would be getting new outfits, so I assume that he will officially show them off this December.

If that chi art is something to go off of, then maybe we might see them,

I don't know if we're going to see Riku and Kairi in the new trailer, but we might see them in their new outfits in a new promotional art this winter. That last 2.8 trailer said more information will come this winter 2016. Who knows? Maybe Square-Enix and Tetsuya Nomura might surprise with a new KH3 trailer that might have a late 2017 or 2018 release date. Anything is possible but I would love see them in new trailer, if not, than I bet they'll show some more KH3 promotional art with Sora, Donald, and Goofy along with Riku, Kairi, and Mickey.

Well, one can only hope that they're shown with their new duds in a new trailer for the game! I'm hoping that's one of the things we'll see this December!  But for now, we have no way of knowing, so all we can do is wait, ya know?

We got the 2.8 trailer with Aqua's face reveal when they had that medal of HD Aqua in Unchained, chances are this 3rd Anniversary key art card for Chi is basically a tease for what's to come in Dec this year, which is the next date for KH3 news.

Most likely yes. I'd say during promotion for 2.8 

Yen Sid and the fairies should just open a clothing shop already. Giving out stylish outfits like candy on Halloween, geez, make munny off it!
Hmm. What if Sora, Riku and Kairi all got the clothes for passing the MoM (I know that Kairi is new to weilding but with Yen Sid's Hyperbolic Time Chanber, who knows)

Yen Sid:"Ah, Sora, you've returned. Good. Now, before you set out, I have one more gift for you. Sora, Riku, Kairi, as you are now Masters, I present to you these new clothes. They will help shild you from the darkness, as well as Xehanort's eyes" 
Lea: "Hey, what abotu me? Do I get some swanky new duds? I'm a Master too now, you know."
Yen Sid "You already have a hood"
Lea:" But Sora-"
Yen Sid "Now, the seven of you, be off. Donald, Goofy, You have traveled with Sora this long, please continue to do so as he searches for the Key to Return Hearts. Mickey, you have forged a special bond with Riku. Use that bond to assist him in searching for the past weilders of the Keyblade.  Kairi, Lea... go... do something. I don't really care what, just go away.
