Following the announcement that Yen Press will be restarting the localisation of the Kingdom Hearts manga series, AnimeNewsNetwork have managed to get more details about the upcoming release of the manga artbook, "Shiro Amano: The Artwork of Kingdom Hearts". The book contains Kingdom Hearts artwork by the manga artist, Shiro Amano, and originally released in Japan on December 22, 2007. Yen Press have announced that the book will be available in North America on October 29 for US$25.00.

    Thought this was gonna be some sort of Hyrule Historia-esque book for the KH series, with artwork from Nomura and never-before-seen doodles/designs. Disappointed. :<

    I don't think I'll get it..?

    I'm not much of a fan of Amano's art style tbh, it's too "kawaii desu!" for my taste. Of maybe I will, it depends. It could be useful for references but I'd prefer an art book by Nomura for that.

    i love shiro amano's style of art. and i'm ABSOLUTELY GONNA BUY THIS! i'm just to psyched that it's at an affordable price xDDDDD cant wait to use it as a perfect reference guide to draw better at action panels in my next doujin...
