Square Enix debunks Kingdom Hearts III release date rumors

It looked amazing at the time.

They already had Super Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot which were much better in terms of 3d graphics

Um...I love VII but that game looks like crap

To be honest dude,VII was one of their first attempt at 3D graphics so of course it won't look that good but at that time it's excusable

Also,comparing the graphics to Mario 64 is unfair because the N64 was 64-bits while the Ps1 was 32-bits so of course FFVII won't look as good as games like Banjo Kazooie or Ocarina of Time ,and again it's their first attempt at 3D so it's completely excusable especially since Final Fantasy VII was revolutionary in terms of gameplay,story and the soundtrack

Didn't Nomura say that the D23 Trailer Footage wasn't even up to par on  what they want... Man, talk about perfectionist, while I do think they're with holding a lot of information that we deserve for this long wait, I agree with Sora96 and that we wont see a KHIII till 2016 at the earliest.

I agree with Nomura. The models aren't polished enough at all. They still have ugly faces...and the enemies, outfits, story, etc aren't done. They have only shown us Sora and not Kairi,Riku,Lea...Of course, I don't know how far along they are, none of us do, but Im sorry, I don't agree with you or black star on that.

Story wise I can guarantee they're done, now they just have to fit it all into Disney worlds.

Well I posted this topic a day or so before it too. I just didn't consider it actual news. North America and Europe usually release the same news, we just use whoever posts it first. Lol.

At best FFXV comes out in 2014 and KH3 in 2015, what would be more realistic is FFXV in 2015 and KH3 in 2016 what shouldn't be surprising is FFXV doesn't get released till 2016 and KH3 in 2017

I disagree that would be best. FINAL FANTASY XV has had only one trailer. It's clearly far from being finished, and Square Enix need to heavily promote it. And Nomura has already Kingdom Hearts III has ages to go. 2015 & 2016 should be the years we're hoping for.

I think the earliest KHIII will come is 2015. The trailers say still in development, and I think it will take more than a year-or two to make. AND 2.5 is coming out this year and two Kingdom Hearts in the same year wouldn't be practical. Just what I think.

I was hoping that those rumors were true, but it turns out that they are not.
