A new Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] story update has released – "Omen"

I've got chills.

Finally something interesting is happening the main story. Can't believe us Western fans had to put up with these unnecessary side-quest fillers. We're way way behind the Japanese version.

Looks like those bug blocks existed long before Coded.

Makes sense since we know that the Disney Worlds in Union x are Data Worlds. And we know that after the events of Kingdom Hearts 1 Maleficent time travel back to her world but she got trapped in the Data World instead.

Either that or Daybreak Town was already a data world and not the real world we thought it was. A lot of mysteries is happening in this story arc now. But we have to wait future updates in Japan. But so far it looks Re:Coded is even more connected to franchise than it was ever before.

I'm very much intrigued and looking forward to whatever story elements we'll get in the coming months with Union X! Now we'll see what seeds shall be planted for the next saga!

That Daybreak Town is in the data world. That's where no one, but the chosen 5, remembers the keyblade war

Don't worry I already know that Ventus, Skuld, Brain, Lauriam, and Ephemer remembers the first Keyblade War. But I'll wait for the next update to see if Daybreak Town is really a Data World.

I wonder if our player is really us or one of the Kingdom Hearts characters using an avatar like a lot of people do when playing online games?

As possible as that can be due to the convoluted story lol, I would hope that UX truly takes place long before the events of the rest of the games. I think it could be possible that time in the data worlds doesn't flow the same as in the real world, meaning the characters have actually survived a very long period of time.

I hope so.   I really hope there is no bs about UX taking place after BBS but prior to KH1.
