Utada Hikaru releases new song “Oozora de Dakishimete” and announces release date for "Forevermore"

Utada Hikaru has released a new single today called “Oozora de Dakishimete (Hug Me in the Sky)” and announced that her next single “Forevermore” will be released on July 28, 2017.
 
“Oozora de Dakishimete” is a part Utada’s involvement in the advertisement for
and currently holds the #1 spot on iTunes in Japan. Additionally, “Forevermore” has been featured in Gomen, Aishiteru (I’m Sorry, I Love You), a drama series from TBS’s Nichiyou Gekijou. 



 
Fans who are interested in the US can find “Oozora de Dakishimete” on iTunes or the Google Play Store. The song is available worldwide. Also, you can check out her website for more information.
 
These singles follow a string of news over the last year involving Utada’s comeback such as her 2016 album Fantôme and her manager/father’s comments on her involvement in Kingdom Hearts III which were retracted and changed. Also, earlier this year, Utada released the Ray of Hope Mix for both “Simple and Clean” and “Hikari” for the opening of Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-. Currently, there hasn't been any official announcement of her involvement for Kingdom Hearts III.

Tetsuya Nomura says that they raised expectations high for the D23 2017 Kingdom Hearts III news, and it will be "normal" info

During the final Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World Tour - in Osaka, Japan, Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura stated that they raised expectations high for the new Kingdom Hearts III information and news being revealed at D23 2017. He makes sure to note that it will be "normal" Kingdom Hearts III news, and he would like people to spread this word instead of raising the bar in order to not cause any trouble.

Kingdom Hearts 2018 wall calendar available for pre-order; releasing July 15, 2017

A 16 month Kingdom Hearts themed wall calendar for 2018 has now been made available for pre-order on Amazon. You can pre-order it for 949 yen ($8.49 USD), and it will be released in July 2017.
 
The front of the calendar has the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep artwork for Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and Mickey, as well as the Kingdom Hearts logo. Purchasing the calendar will also provide you with bonus downloadable wallpaper.

Coverage: Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World Tour - in New York City

The Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World Tour - has one more stop before heading back to Japan for the final concert, and it's on the other side of the United States in the Big Apple.

After our successful presence at the KHO concerts in London, UK and Los Angeles, California, we are going to have one last #KH13MeetUp! Staff members Toominator and Ariel Phillips will be hosting tomorrow's meet-up. We'll be collecting fan messages in another special "Thank You" booklet for series composer Yoko Shimomura, as well as distributing exclusive KH13 stickers!
 
The meet-up will take place on Saturday, June 24th near the main entrance of the United Palace Theater at 4pm EDT, so that even fans without concert tickets will be able to attend!

Previously, the Los Angeles concerts saw a new Kingdom Hearts III trailer delivered by series director Tetsuya Nomura himself on stage and confirming a new world and new trailer upcoming for D23 Expo 2017 in Anaheim, California on July 15th. There has been some other reveals from previous concerts including Union χ[Cross]'s reveal and the exclusive canon backstory from Kingdom Hearts III with Kairi and Xion's Japanese voice actress, Risa Uchida, and Aqua's Japanese voice actress, Megumi Toyoguchi.

Update 1.04 now available for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX

A new patch has now been made available for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX. This patch, Version 1.04, is a corrective patch that mainly focused on Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. It namely fixed an issue that caused Magnet to pull in enemies at a slower rate, which arose from the previous patch for the game. Various other issues have been fixed as well. Monogram Direct to sell San Diego Comic Con exclusive Kingdom Hearts Pewter Pin Set

Monogram Direct will be selling a San Diego Comic Con exclusive Kingdom Hearts Pewter Pin Set at their booth, (#3645), during the convention next month. Included in the pin set are Sora, the Kingdom Hearts II logo, King Mickey Mouse in his black coat, the Lionheart Keyblade, the Heartless emblem, and the Way to the Dawn Keyblade.
 
Each set is listed at $30.00 USD, but only 500 sets will be produced and will only be sold during San Diego Comic Con.

Kingdom Hearts necklaces, engagement rings, and wedding rings by K.uno are being released

K.uno, a Japanese brand that specializes in custom and bridal jewelry, are going to be be releasing Kingdom Hearts themed necklaces, engagement rings, and wedding rings for sale later this year. They will be a part of their line, U-TREASURE.
 
K.uno recently held a press presentation, and there, Mr. Ryota Kataoka, a part of their sales planning department, expressed that people have been asking for them to make Kingdom Hearts jewelry and accessories for a long time, and he's happy that they're able to finally meet their wishes.
 




 
The first piece of jewelry to be shown off was the engagement ring. This ring expresses the world view of Kingdom Hearts and it's designed with a heart at the seat of the stone. This ring comes in the following varieties:

More Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary merchandise coming to 7net; Necklaces, key rings, tableware, and more!

In April, various different products and merchandise were announced to be made available for purchase later this year on the Japanese online store, 7net, for the 15th Anniversary of Kingdom Hearts. Now, even more merch has been announced to be coming to 7net for the Kingdom Hearts series' 15th Anniversary. Key rings, necklaces, memo pads, smartphone stands, tumbler glasses, small plates, and stainless steel bottles will be made available for sale later this year.
 
The leather key rings are being manufactured by Nakagawa Corporation and will be available starting September 16, 2017. You can buy them here:

More Kingdom Hearts shirts and acrylic key rings coming to Japanese clothing store PONEYCOMB

Six more acrylic Kingdom Hearts key rings are coming to the clothing store, PONEYCOMB, located in the Japanese shopping mall "109" in Shibuya. They are in the same line of key rings as the key rings being sold by PONEYCOMB that were talked about a few months ago.
 
The previously mentioned key rings included the characters Final Form Sora, Roxas in his black coat, Mickey Mouse in his Kingdom Hearts II outfit, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Now, the characters Sora/Data-Sora, Riku in his black coat/Data-Riku, Atlantica Sora, Atlantica Donald Duck, Atlantica Goofy, and Chip & Dale are coming to this line of key rings. There's currently no pricing info or release date, but we'll keep you updated.
 
UPDATE 1: Key rings for Sora/Data-Sora and Chip & Dale have been revealed. View them with the other key rings in the photo gallery above. A couple more Kingdom Hearts shirts have also been revealed to be coming to PONEYCOMB. They are in the same line as the shirts that were previously talked about. The shirt designs include one that shows off Timeless River Mickey Mouse on the front and one that shows off the Timeless River world icon on the front and Timeless River Sora on the back. UPDATE 2: A release date, as well as prices, for these products have been revealed by Dtimes. These products will be available from the PONEYCOMB pop-up shop at Kichijoji Parco 5f for a limited time from June 24, 2017 to August 27, 2017. The Timeless River Mickey shirts will be available for 3,500 yen ($31.46 USD) and the Timeless River Sora shirts will be available for 4,200 yen ($37.75 USD), while the key rings will be available for 1,500 yen ($13.48 USD).
 
UPDATE 3: Even more Kingdom Hearts shirts and acrylic key rings are coming to PONEYCOMB! Now, the characters Halloween Town Sora, Halloween Town Donald Duck, and Halloween Town Goofy are coming to this line of key rings. There are two new shirts. One of which has a design of Halloween Town Sora and Christmas Town Jack Skellington on the front, and the other shirt has a design of Halloween Town Donald and Goofy on the front. They both come in either black or white.
 
Both the acrylic key rings and the shirts will be available to pre-order from September 2, 2017 to September 10, 2017. They are planned to ship at the end of September, and regular sales in PONEYCOMB stores are scheduled to begin on September 9, 2017. The key rings will be available to purchase for 1,620 yen ($14.81 USD) each, and the shirts will be available to purchase for 3,780 yen ($34.56 USD) each.

Sora from Kingdom Hearts' Japanese voice actor, Miyu Irino, at Anime Expo 2017; discusses his life with video games; says his favorite role is Sora

Miyu Irino, who is better known as the Japanese voice actor for Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series, will be a Guest of Honor at this year's Anime Expo on July 1st to 4th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition, he will be participating in a panel and be available for autographs.
 



 
UPDATE: Miyu Irino participated in a panel at Anime Expo 2017 a couple of weeks ago. He discussed about some of the characters he has voiced including Haku from Spirited Away, Saji Crossroad from Gundam 00, and of course Sora from Kingdom Hearts.

Kingdom Hearts III to be featured at the "Level Up! The Walt Disney Company’s Video Game Showcase" at D23 Expo 2017 at 1:00 PM PDT on July 15, 2017

The D23 Expo Team has published an update regarding its schedule for the D23 Expo 2017 in Anaheim, California. The update reveals that Kingdom Hearts III will be featured on its "Level Up! The Walt Disney Company’s Video Game Showcase" segment at 1:00 PM PDT on July 15, 2017.

The Kingdom Hearts III Orchestra trailer had previously revealed that a new world announcement and a new trailer is upcoming on that day at the D23 Expo.
 
On the second showing of the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World Tour -, director Tetsuya Nomura also stated that the announcements to be made on Kingdom Hearts III at the D23 Expo 2017 will make fans even happier than they were when the Kingdom Hearts III Orchestra trailer was revealed.
