After the first volume released in 2007, it has been a long journey to the final volume of the Kingdom Hearts II manga. Shiro Amano, the creator of the Kingdom Hearts manga series took a break after volume 5 and adapted Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days in it's entirety. Amano later returned to Kingdom Hearts II after 358/2 Days' completion. Today the 10th and final volume finally premiered in Shonen Gangan via it's June 2015 issue.

Amano took to Twitter to celebrate, you can read his tweet translated into English below thanks to goldpanner.

Update: The Square Enix Gangan website has updated with an official wallpaper to commemorate the release of the final Kingdom Hearts II volume which can be seen below, in various sizes.

Square Enix Germany's official Facebook page is teasing something Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] related. Square Enix North America released the Tokyo Game Show 2013 trailer to press but this is the first time Square Enix has posted something Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] related outside of Japan to the public.

Square Enix Europe is known for teasing stuff this time of year, last year Square Enix France teased international releases for Final Fantasy Agito and Final Fantasy Type-0.

E3 2015 is only a month away and Square Enix is holding a press conference, could we see an international release of Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]? We speculate they might port it to iOS & Android.

Update 2: Interestingly, the Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] teaser by Square Enix Germany is using a screenshot we took for an article last week. You can view the screenshot here.

Update: Square Enix Germany has since removed the post but you can still view it below.
Music from Kingdom Hearts II will be performed at The Game Symphony Japan 10th concert which will take place on June 7, 2015 at The Symphony Hall in Osaka, Japan. The music will be performed by the Game Symphony Japan, professional musicians that are known for their orchestrated renditions of popular video game music. They also have had the privilege to work with names like Yoko Shimomura, composer of the Kingdom Hearts series and Nobuo Uematsu, the original composer of the Final Fantasy series.

While this concert is focusing on a game in Final Fantasy VII that played a huge role in eventually creating the Kingdom Hearts series it will feature some Kingdom Hearts II songs including Dearly Beloved and Scherzo Di Notte. It will also feature music from another title composed by Yoko Shimomura, an old Square hit called Live A Live on the Super Famicom.

Thanks go to Siliconera for the tip.

More information regarding this concert can be found on the concert's official website.

Yoko Shimomura, composer of the Kingdom Hearts series has announced via her Twitter page that she will be appearing in the 4star Primal Orchestra music festival. At this music festival she will be speaking about something, although she hasn't decided what yet. This will be held on May 5, 2015 in Tokyo, Japan and will be live streamed via Nico Nico. For those who don't know, 4star Primal is a video game music festival held once every 4 years for artists involved in video game music, video game directors and producers along with fans to get together as one.

Translations of her tweets and a quote from the Nico Nico page for the live stream can be read below. Thanks go to goldpanner for the translations.
AMD, the second-largest global supplier of microprocessors will be presenting a PC Gaming Show at E3 2015 on Tuesday, June 16th between 5PM and 8PM at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, California.

The official website for this show has confirmed Square Enix as a participant. While this is more likely focused on Square Enix's large catalogue of AAA western titles such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, Just Cause 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Hitman 6 coming out in the next year or so, there is a chance it could feature titles from Square Enix's Japanese studios as Square Enix has been very active in porting Final Fantasy titles to Windows PC/Steam in the past year ranging from blockbuster titles like Final Fantasy XIII to mobile titles like Final Fantasy IV. There is a good chance Kingdom Hearts III will at some stage be released on Windows PC/Steam maybe even Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMIX.
