Skrillex drops remix of 'Face My Fears' at Ultra Singapore

June 8th, 2019 at the Ultra Singapore Music Festival, Skrillex dropped a remix of Kingdom Hearts III's opening theme, Face My Fears. The Radiant Reward Raid Event is from June 10th, 2019 to June 16th, 2019! Defeat the raid boss with your party during bonus times to receive more lux when the cost of AP is 0! If the raid boss is defeated during the bonus time, the raid boss' level increases twofold. Bonus times are below:

The Chasm of Challenges Round #2 is another permanent quest, which means you can attempt it anytime! The Chasm of Challenges Round #2 tests your abilities with no continues. The challenge is for advanced keyblade wielders and require specific keyblades to take on the challenge. The further one progresses through the challenge, the stronger enemies become and friend medals cannot be utilized through this challenge. There are many rewards that are available once completed such as: 6★ Chip and Huey, Dewey, and Louie medals, and gems.

Kingdom Hearts X Light Novel to be released in the west by Yen Press on December 10th, 2019

Yen Press has announced on their website that they will be bringing the Kingdom Hearts X light novel to the west on December 10, 2019. It will have 160 pages and retail for $14.00 USD and $21.00 CAN.
The novel previously released in Japan, and is titled Kingdom Hearts X: The Story of You and the Keyblade.

During the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World of Tres- concert on Saturday June 8th in Los Angeles, a new trailer for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III DLC was shown. Re:Mind DLC will be available in Winter 2019. Square Enix will be holding their press conference on Monday, June 10th at 6:00 PM PDT [9:00 PM EDT/1:00 AM GMT]. Kingdom Hearts III ReMind DLC to release in this Winter, new teaser trailer shown at the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World of Tres- performance in Los Angeles

New information regarding the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III: Re:Mind DLC has been revealed at the Los Angeles performance of Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World of Tres- today! In keeping with his appearances at the previous Kingdom Hearts orchestras in Los Angeles and this year's -World of Tres- performance in Tokyo, series director Tetsuya Nomura made a guest appearance at the end of the concert to announce this information and present a new teaser trailer for the DLC.
After coming out onto the stage, Nomura was greeted with a standing ovation from the audience. He said that he arrived in Los Angeles on the same day of the concert, commenting "I haven't even unpacked, and I accidentally came wearing sandals", eliciting a hearty laugh from the audience. Nomura then mentioned that the paid DLC was revealed at the Tokyo performance, before stating "We have prepared something to show today, for the people who came here, so have a look." He remarked that the trailer shown at the orchestra is "exclusive" (despite the trailer subsequently being published on YouTube), and that video and photography were not permitted. Nomura also revealed that the Re:Mind DLC will be launched this winter and will include "more scenes that we will like."

The Japanese version is as follows:
In this trailer, we witness a meeting between Young Xehanort and a cloaked figure who seems to be Master of Masters, in the Keyblade Graveyard. The scene alludes to Young Xehanort being mentored by the him, who asks him how "the world tour" went. It seems he gave Xehanort the black coat to ward off the darkness, which is interesting seeing that in this scene, Young Xehanort's eyes are of the original grey colour instead of yellow, commonly a symbol of darkness.
I But the most striking scene seems to be the one between Xigbar and Luxord, both characters with roots from Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]. Luxord confronts Xigbar at in the world of Olympus, asking him who he is, but then leaves saying it doesn't matter anyway. Xigbar then wonders out loud, "The question is who are you, Luxord?" This makes an allusion to how the identity of Luxord may be central to the story of Kingdom Hearts.
In terms of gameplay, the Re:Mind DLC will make the players able to play with Riku, Aqua, and Roxas in certain situations. The trailer features these playable characters during the battles in the Keyblade Gravevyard towards the end of the game.
The Oathkeeper Keyblade and the Keyblade's formchange also makes an appearance.
From the DLC's first reveal announcement in the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World of Tres- Tokyo show, we know that the ReMind DLC will be a paid DLC to include:
An additional Scenario, "Re:Mind" Limit Cut Episode + Boss Secret Episode + Boss English VA option (only for Japan; no word on an equivalent option for non-JP copies) We also know that there will be a free DLC featuring a new Keyblade and a new formchange.
Lastly, another interesting feature about the Re:Mind DLC is the coda symbol featured in its logo. In music, a coda ("⊕") is a passage that brings a piece (or a movement) to an end. According to an observation made by Project Destati, this could have additional symbolism in regards to the additional story content that the Re:Mind DLC could bring to Kingdom Hearts III.

"GAME NOVELS Kingdom Hearts III Vol. 2 New Seven Hearts" available for pre-order at the Square Enix e-Store (Japan); releasing July 25, 2019

The second volume of the Kingdom Hearts III novel, authored by Tomoco Kanemaki and illustrated by Shiro Amano, is now available for pre-order at the Square Enix e-Store (Japan)! It is priced at 800 yen and will release on July 25, 2019. A cover is yet to be released.

Kingdom Hearts III umbrella available for pre-order at the Square Enix e-Store (Japan); releasing July 6, 2019

A new Kingdom Hearts III themed umbrella is now available for pre-order at the Square Enix e-Store (Japan)! The umbrella features a crown made of Kingdom Hearts emblems on the outer side, and a monogram pattern on the inside surface. Its handle and the cover it comes with also feature the Kingdom Hearts coat of arms. The product can be used as an umbrella on rainy days and as a parasol on a sunny day to protect one from the sun's UV rays.
The umbrella costs 3,240 yen and will release on July 6, 2019. For more information, click here.

Kingdom Hearts III Chapter 0: Prologue manga (English) now available as digital download from Yen Press

Yen Press appears to be handling the English version of the Kingdom Hearts III manga. Chapter 0: Prologue is now available for digital download from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, ComiXology, Apple iBooks, Google Play, and Kobo. The issue will cost $0.99.

Chapter 0: Prologue was recently released in April on Gangan Online.

Hot Topic holds contest for fans to design Kingdom Hearts t-shirts, winner to be sold as Hot Topic-exclusive merchandise

Hot Topic and Fan Factory are currently running a contest where Kingdom Hearts fans can submit an original t-shirt design, to potentially be sold at Hot Topic locations. Submissions are accepted until June 11th at 11:59 PM PST, while the voting period for the contest takes place from June 12th at 12:00 AM PST until June 18th at 11:59 PM PST. The grand-prize winner of this contest will be awarded $2000 USD, and will have the opportunity for their design to be sold through Hot Topic. In addition, four runners-up will be awarded $300 each. This contest is limited to residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Entrants must be above the age of 18.
According to the contest's guidelines and FAQ, t-shirt submissions must adhere to the following: Designs cannot use intellectual property that has not been featured in the Kingdom Hearts series. This includes Marvel, Pixar, and Lucasfilm franchises, as well as material that infringes on non-Kingdom Hearts copyrights and brands. In addition, for legal reasons, elements from Tarzan, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Final Fantasy cannot be used in any capacity, despite their inclusion in the Kingdom Hearts universe. Furthermore, obscene/inappropriate content or content touching upon polarizing topics will not be considered. Lastly, entrants must not copy existing artists or artwork.
Each individual entrant can submit up to 10 designs, so if you have plenty of ideas, don't feel as though you have to narrow it down to a single choice! Hot Topic and Fan Factory have stated that designers are also free to promote their submitted work to friends, family, and followers, so let people know that you've entered!
