Yuu Shimaka [Japanese VA of Goofy] has passed away at the age of 70

On July 28th, 2019, Yuu Shimaka, the Japanese voice actor of Goofy, passed away. He was 70 at the time of his passing.
Yuu Shimaka was born on May 6, 1949 in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. He began his voice acting career in 1982. In addition of voicing Goofy, he also voiced characters in popular animes such as Cowboy Bebop, Metal Armor Dragonar, and Code Geass as well as dubbing for ER, The X-Files, A Bug's Life, and the Transformers [1985 series]. He also ran a private voice acting school called "Goof Troop".
Rest in peace Yuu Shimaka and thank you for voicing Goofy.

Hot Topic has updated their website with tons of new Kingdom Hearts merchandise that are online exclusives!

Hot Topic has brought back another pair of Kingdom Hearts hi-top sneakers! The sneakers feature a Sora color scheme and two crossed keyblades on the sides of each shoe. The sneakers are originally $39.90 but are on sale for $31.92 as apart of an online exclusive sale.

[KHUX NA: 08-01-2019] SN Ultimate Form Sora deal, board deals, August PvE coliseum, special missions, and more

August is here fellow keyblade wielders! Here are some new updates this month! 
First off, important information regarding medals and events this August can be seen below:
Medals:
August 1st, 2019: SN - Ultimate Form Sora introduced through a deal! Medal ignores target’s attributes and increases your U-Medal STR by 1500. August 5th, 2019: SN+ - KH III Xemnas introduced through 4 weeks (8/5, 8/12, 8/19, and 8/26) of WJEs!  August 16th, 2019: SN - KH III Dark Riku introduced through a deal (VIP/Standard Draws). It’s the first Speed attribute Medal that has a 30% chance to ignore target's Defense Boost. Also, a new effect that decreases the target’s Upright STR in PvP and all targets' STR in other quests!  August 26th, 2019: SN - KH III Dark Baymax will be introduced through a deal (VIP/Standard Draws)! It’s a hard-hitting, single-target Medal! Events:
August 1st, 2019: Sub-slot medals will be introduced through the Event Coins Galore event, a keyblade booster will be provided, and PvE coliseum will be featuring Speed attribute enemies (use your Power attribute keyblades!). August 12th, 2019: Rewards for the Radiant Reward Raid Event will be revised. Future plans to add jewels as a reward for parties that rank high in the event and lots of gems for individual rankings. Players will also be able to choose whether they want to spawn a standard Raid Boss or an Omega Raid Boss.  In addition to these updates, the Big Bonus Challenge will be returning at the end of the month!  


SN- Ultimate Form Sora has a arrived in a new deal! SN- Ultimate Form Sora is available within 5 draws and as a log-in bonus receive 30 trait medals! This deal lasts until August 19th, get SN- Ultimate Form Sora while you can! Information regarding the medal can be seen below.

The second Chirithy 4 Charity 12-hour livestream will be held on August 3rd.

In less than 3 days, on August 3rd, Chirithy 4 Charity will hold their second 12-hour charity live stream over on Twitch and Youtube.
The stream will consist of 5 Kingdom Hearts community members playing and performing various challenges within the Kingdom Hearts series, including various Super bosses, Speedruns, and Picture hunts.
All donations will go to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals via Extra Life.

Sora represents Kingdom Hearts in collectible Disney print exclusive to D23 Gold Members at D23 Expo 2019

D23 have announced the D23 Expo offerings that come with the D23 Gold Membership. These include exclusive single-day ticket discounts, a Gold Member lounge, and more when a Gold Member attends the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California on August 23-25 this year.
Amongst the offerings is an exclusive collectible print from Disney artist Eric Tan celebrating the 10th anniversary of the official Disney fan club. The print features Mickey Mouse and various memorable characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, The Muppets, and the Disney parks. Fans will be delighted to know that Kingdom Hearts is also being representing Disney in this print! The silhouette of Sora holding his Keyblade can be found between those of Figment the Dragon and Thor. Check it out below!

Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition will release in Fall 2019 for $69.95; playable version at Gen Con 2019

The OP USAopoly have announced the Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition board game will be available in Fall 2019 for a price of $69.95 at your local retailer and on Amazon. The board game was previously announced back in February.

USAopoly have also announced that the board game will be playable at Gen Con 2019 in Indianapolis between August 1st and 4th at their booth (#137).

Kingdom Hearts clear file and hologram sticker sets available at the official Disney Store (Japan)

The official Disney Store (Japan) have updated their listings with 7 new Kingdom Hearts products!
The Kingdom Hearts Clear File 1 is a set of 4 plastic folders featuring different illustrations from Kingdom Hearts. It costs 540 yen.
The Kingdom Hearts Clear File 2 is similar, except the illustrations derive from Kingdom Hearts II. It also costs 540 yen.
The "Kingdom Hearts Sticker Set Hologram Envelope File with Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded" features a sparkling file cover with 7 hologram stickers of Kingdom Hearts II and Re:Coded characters. This collection is priced at 1080 yen.
There is another Kingdom Hearts Sticker Set, this time featuring cover art and glittery character stickers from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. It is also priced at 1080 yen.
The third Kingdom Hearts Hologram Sticker Set, also costing 1080 yen, features cover art and stickers from Timeless River.
The Kingdom Hearts Postcard Set 1 with Envelope File is another sparkly hologram plastic file inclusive of 7 postcards featuring art from the first game. You can buy it for 756 yen.

Russi Taylor (Veteran Disney voice actress and English voice of Minnie Mouse) has passed away at the age of 75

On July 26th, 2019, Russi Taylor [the English voice of Minnie Mouse, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Fauna in the Kingdom Hearts series] passed away in her home in Glendale, California due to complications from diabetes. She was 75 at the time of her passing.
Russi Taylor was born on May 4th, 1944 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She began voice acting in 1980 and took over as the official voice of Minnie Mouse in 1987 as well as Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, Louie in 1990 for the series Ducktales. 
She was also married to Wayne Allwine, former voice actor of Mickey Mouse, from 1991 until his passing in 2009. 
Rest in Peace Russi Taylor and thank you for your 30+ years of voicing Minnie Mouse, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and several other Disney characters. You will be dearly missed.
