As part of director Tetsuya Nomura's XIII Days to go countdown to Kingdom Hearts III, he announced today that they will be putting promotional material of the art of Kingdom Hearts III around Shinjuku Station and Shibuya Station starting January 16. The art will be framed and displayed in gallery style around the station.

Kingdom Hearts III is only 11 days away from releasing in Japan, and continuing the XIII Days to go countdown, Tetsuya Nomura announced today that promotional videos will be with the announcements starting on the 19th. These videos are made externally, so its assumed there will be 6 more videos. You can view the tweet he talks about these below.

UPDATE [Jan 14, 2019]: Nomura also tweeted a reminder that the Kingdom Hearts Perfect Book is avaialble now and that the Memorial Collection will come with exclusive items designed by fashion brand BLACK HONEY CHILI COOKIE. Steven Burton, the voice actor for Cloud Strife,  hosted a Facebook live stream recently where he answered questions from the public. One person asked whether or not Cloud Strife would be in Kingdom Hearts III. 
Thanks to a Twitter video from user PatzPowerz, we can see Steve Burton answers the question by saying that Cloud Strife won't be in the game. You can watch the video below. 
Doug Erholtz, the voice actor for Leon in Kingdom Hearts II was also asked a similar question recently, where he stated that Leon would not be appearing in Kingdom Hearts III.  You can view the tweet below. 
This could be due to the actors being under a non-disclosure agreement, but we'll have to wait for official confirmation or see in the final release. 
Tetsuya Nomura stated in an interview back during E3 that the Final Fantasy characters "required special care" and that we should "Look forward to how the FF characters show up in the game."

Yesterday, Tetsuya Nomura announced that during the XIII days to go countdown until the launch of Kingdom Hearts III, there would be an announcement each day. Today is the second day of this countdown, and the announcement was showing off the abilities of the three pre-order bonus Keyblades. 
The "Midnight Blue" Keyblade, which you receive by pre-ordering Kingdom Hearts III through PlayStation boosts the power of the blizzard magic, shown below in the video he uploaded.
While equipped, Blizzagan will become selectable in Situation Commands
  The "Phantom Green" Keyblade, which you receive by pre-ordering Kingdom Hearts III through Xbox boosts the power of thunder magic, shown below in the video he uploaded. While equipped, Thundagan will become selectable in Situation Commands The "Dawn Till Dusk" Keyblade, which you receive by pre-ordering Kingdom Hearts III through Amazon boosts the power of fire magic, shown below in the video he uploaded. While equipped, Firagan will become selectable in Situation Commands   The quote in the image tweeted, "We thought you might be able to use a couple more half-pints." is referencing the epilogue of 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage- where Donald calls Sora a half-pint of a hero.    
In the 13th day countdown tweet posted by Kingdom Hearts III directory Tetusya Nomura, a quote can be seen on the picture attached, saying:

Kingdom Hearts III director Tetsuya Nomura has revealed that there will be an announcement every day accompanying the official countdown to the Japanese release of the game on Twitter.

Square Enix France have uploaded an introductory video on the Kingdom Hearts III pre-order exclusive Monsters, Inc. Yo-yo. The video features Yo-yo champion Victor Sacchelli performing tricks along with battle footage of Sora with the Twin Yo-Yos battle transformation. Alongside the footage, a new track from the game can also be heard.

The yo-yo is available as a pre-order bonus for Micromania in France along with GameStop in Finland, Norway, Denmark, and Germany.

Square Enix have revealed the update schedule for Kingdom Hearts III, both the Western and Japanese version. The Western schedule, which includes a Day 1 patch, is as follows.
Series director Tetsuya Nomura introduced the updates release schedule for the Japanese version of the game through a tweet. He tweeted the following:

Square Enix Store Japan is currently taking pre-orders for their newest addition to the Kingdom Hearts novels, Kingdom Hearts III Vol.1 Re:Start! Written by Tomoco Kanemaki and illustrated by Shiro Amano, the novel is scheduled to be released on March 28th, 2019 and will be 258 pages long retailing for 800 yen ($7.41 USD). At the moment, the cover of the novel is to be announced. 
 
 

Square Enix have released renders of some Keyblades from Kingdom Hearts III! These include Keyblades from the worlds revealed so far, as well as Kingdom Key and Shooting Star. You can see them in our gallery below.
There are of course other Keyblades that will be present in the game, including DLC Keyblades that have been announced so far. A gameplay video showcasing the Dawn Till Dusk Keyblade, available with pre-orders of the game from Amazon, was recently released.
New PSN avatars for Kingdom Hearts III Sora, Donald, and Goofy will be available to fans with a Japanese PlayStation Plus membership! The avatars will be available from January 18, 2019.
