Fool. My mistake, they are apes. Everything I said still stands, though, except for humans. But this topic isn't about humans.

Fool. Three out of your four links aren't even about apes. Cognitively similar is not a measure of how closely intelligent they are to us. They just work in a similar way, but not nearly as advanced. They dislike cages and can be concerned about their futures, but they still can never be more mentally mature than a five year old. And they still aren't aware that other beings can have consciousness. And if you want to be taken seriously, don't use wikipedia.

Fool. Humans aren't apes, what are you talking about? Neither are Bonobos, Gorillas, or Orangutans. They're separate species. Dolphins have a vocabulary as well. Apes, and other primates other than humans, also never get a sense of outside awareness. That's the realization that living things other than themselves also have their own minds. They just don't get it. Dolphins do, however.
