We know that they knew each other before they become nobodies. My theory is: Real = Saix, Make believe = Roxas & Xion; assuming, that they were friends as somebody's, Axel's friendship with Roxas and Xion is fake, because as nobodies they can't feel a thing, so no friendship there. Makes sense to me. x)
