I'll try to answer from director's side They say, three is too much and that'll be interesting for story.The main problem with 4 is they will automatically form 2-2 subgroup on their own, it's just natural human behaviour, mostly the relationship will be stronger and separated in the guys and the girls. But in 3 person, if 2 form subgroup the one will be left alone, and as besties they can't do this, so the group will stand together for that reason. Besides, 3 is the minimum number of a group to be considered "crowd" an of course we want friends to be "crowd". It also implies un-possessive-ness. First, imagine what kind of boy would be in a group with 2 girls and him boy alone? That implies weak and servant-ness, which won't be let to happen in friendship theme. Of course that can make special exception but kh isn't all about friendship. Yet a girl among boys implies that girl to be strong, have sportmanship, and all. Second, boys characters are easy to be liked by girls without having to be bishie, yet girls characters hardly can be liked by boys when not beautiful. Since this friendly thing requires to be relax and settled, really, it's better a girl among boys. Hm maybe because the orgy supposed to be villain in the first place, so they gotta have villainish woman in place, which mostly only have two common choices: annoying or seductive, since it's kid's game they can't have seductive (or Marluxia was planned to be the lightly one, but has to be man or else com rebels leaders will be all women which implies something bad), so they go annoying and really doesn't have anyone else. ^yup, I think the filter is better used for the base of the background, before it gradients and gets more effect. In a whole person it makes her looks like a stuck piece of paper somewhat, it's just that person seems not being part of the background, like she's not there. Or if you insist in using it on person, maybe it can be in the dress only, not in the head (since the face isn't actually appear, any part of head holds important role in delivering her expression). I personally will be glad if you use 'mistakes' like in br, the too bright white in plain black background implies that he's still have some light in his personality even though living in dark, even stuck and glow, and the abstract burst which normally I'll say it's random, but here it's not, thanks to matched (Lee?)'s expression and reaper text below so the burst has something to say. Or so I think...

Hmm maybe it's personal reference thing but I like the black reaper better than yin. Yin has more techniques and precision as I can see, but it doesn't transmit feeling as good as black reaper does. Maybe because br's mistakes creates unique feeling on its own, while yin is so textbook I don't feel any electricity of it. Anyway, there's no exact rule of good or bad in art, is there?

I comment late coz, I was just watching the sequel today and now trying to solve the riddles although the vid says not to. I can't resist to! (Like, WHO CAN? I've watched the prequel thousand times anyway) since the end is "no way this riddle could be solved", means there are more than one possible answers: Len tried to kill the first guy with wine, but without knowing it didn't work, instead Rin killed him with knife. And the later three people Len tried to kill them by knife but same story with the first guy, Rin ended up killing them by drowning them in the ocean. That's why Len thinks he was the one who killed them. or Rin tried to kill the first guy with wine but Len swap the wine with normal one, leaving Rin innocent instead he killed him with knife, that's why his right arm's bloody. Then Rin tried to kill the rest 3 people with knife, but fail and Len drowned them to ocean to remove witness evidence. That's why Rin thinks she was the one who killed them. The only obvious thing is they both psychopath, that's why one is afraid they may kill the other. OR The table narrator did all the murder and drives both minds to think they were the killer. That's why he said we can't solve it since there are many factual errors in it (caused by him).
