Yes it does. Nomura confirmed it in one of his interviews that Vanitas's Remnent is canon to the KH series. Yes but it has nothing to do with what we're talking about, namely an entirely different person. All we're saying is that when Vanitas was born, through Ven's extracted darkness, the unversed were spawned. Well if that process were to be repeated on someone else, a being similar to Vanitas would be born, and the unversed would possibly return as an extension of that person's emotions, just like they were with Vanitas.

Which is what i don't get. How can it be reasonable? For one, it got confirmed that Vanitas Remnent is canon to the series. So Nomura will probably tell us how that might revive Vanitas. But I'm not sure how that will happen so we'll just have to wait until Nomura fills us in on it. And second of all, Vanitas got destroyed completely. there's no other way for him to randomly coming through someone else's darkness. That just doesn't seem possible nor does it make sense. the only possible other way I see him coming back is his Remnent maybe. See, now that's what we're not saying. Nothing was said about Vanitas himself returning through someone else, only someone like him, a being of pure darkness taking human form the same way Vanitas did. Not Vanitas. Someone entirely new made the same way. And the Remnant has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Actually, their when they forged with each other both their hearts were completed. But the reason why we saw it wasn't complete inside Ven and Vanitas's hearts was because it wasn't complete mentally as I said before. And yes, once Ven destroyed the X-Blade it did affect them both. Vanitas got destroyed in the process of the X-Blade's destruction. And Ven's heart was damaged again and was spared thanks to the fact that his heart was still merged with Sora's. I don't think there was anything mental involved in that situation. It's all in the heart. Their minds had nothing to do with it. Meaning their hearts were not fully completed. And Ven's heart was not merged with Sora's at that time, merely connected. In fact, strictly speaking, their hearts were never actually "merged", one just sheltered the other, but only after Ven lost his. And as for the whole new Vanitas thing, I really don't get where you're going with not being able to. He's saying that the process could be repeated with someone new, creating a new Vanitas-type being. Perfectly reasonable.

Because the union wasn't complete, I don't think their hearts fully merged back together, which would mean that if the X-Blade was destroyed their hearts would be affected separately, meaning Ven's heart would still be fractured, thus the title of the cutscene, "The Fractured Heart's Return".

I honestly don't see how people see any similarities other than the fact that they both have spiky hair and blue eyes, it just doesn't make any sense. Roxas' facial structure is more similar to Sora's then to Ven's.

Why are people saying that Ven's heart is whole again? As far as I've seen, we have absolutely no confirmation of that. Strictly speaking, without the darkness from his heart existing anywhere, his heart can't be whole.

You don't just fight him as Terranort. Terra's story, right before he becomes Terranort. He is himself. and with Vanitas before that.

It isn't the same team. The 1st Production Department is a group of multiple teams, namely, the ones working on Fabula Nova Crysalis, Dissidia, and Kingdom Hearts. While Tetsuya Nomura is part of each team, the rest are seperate.

Actually it was stated by Xemnas, Axel and the reports that Xion is in fact a replica of Roxas, not Sora, that managed to take on Sora's memories through Roxas.

sorry mickey has to be on the cover, prob one of disney requirements not that i mind He wasn't on KH's cover, so I doubt it's required. I would like to see a form of Xehanort somewhere, with Sora and Riku, obviously, but I kinda want Yen Sid on there too lol I don't know why.

Neither No Heart or Armor of the Master are canon to story as of yet, therefor, if anything, they are just data created by the Mirage Arena.

What everyone else said. Also, Xion is not a clone of Sora, she is a Replica of Roxas made of Sora's memories (as stated by Xemnas and Axel).

The only way for a world to have an equal balance of light and darkness, is if it is directly in between, hence being neutral ground. A As for Sora, I believe DiZ moved him to Twilight Town nearly immediately, because in one of his Secret Reports, he stated that he needed to move Sora away from the Organization's prying eyes, and he would not have risked leaving him there any longer.

My thoughts exactly. I mean, Xehanort's already tried his hand with Ven and Vanitas, and they failed, so it only makes sense that he would find someone else. However, it is more likely that he will return through Sora's quest to save Ven, seeing as to repair his heart, he needs to bring back Vanitas.

is it the twilight that riku's representing, or is it the dawn, as he said at the end of chain of memories? It's twilight, as that is when light and darkness are at equal balance.

Although at this point, Yen Sid would probably give them the knowledge anyway with everything going on. And honestly, I don't believe the title is necessary. The Master Qualification Exam is, in my opinion, merely to see if the candidate has what it takes. Terra was not a titled Master, but he was qualified, and he had nothing special from it. Nor did Aqua.

Kingdom Hearts, the heart of all worlds, is just a visual incarnation of the place in the realm of light. However, the true Kingdom Hearts is within the Realm of Darkness. It is what Kairi's grandmother told about, the true light within the deepest darkness. The one in KHII is an entirely different Kingdom Hearts, being made of men's hearts.
