should have put that and I've seen from many places that say it will come this year, but other sources say 2013. But also the large-scale 2.0 update is coming in january

well, i own both and enjoy both. Kid Icarus is a really fun game, but the camera is a bit tough to control at times. tales of the abyss is also fun, but the 3D and graphics aren't the best since it's pretty much just a port of the PS2 version. it's a tough choice, but i'd have to say that kid icarus is the better choice, mostly because if you want to play multiplayer there are plenty of people on this site that have it and will play the multiplayer with you.

Thats a toughy. If you want a good RPG experience, Tales of the Abyss is the way to go. If you want a game with good graphics and great multiplayer, choose Kid Icarus.
