  1. remakes and remasters are the same thing
  2. except that Yen Sid is literally Disney, and KH doesn't really keep in line with Disney's standards of carnage though even then Yen Sid doesn't fit the role at all, hardly continuing the traditioni if anything Sora's mom probably being dead fits better
  3. a really annoying guy who used to be on this forum actually. I didn't meet him on this forum specifically, just a coincidence He had this annoying obsession with Sora being in Smash Bros and wouldn't listen to anybody. Argued for pages about it, and got really personal when he got mad at people ...so yeah, not exactly the most positive first exposure to KH, but it's what got me to know about it enough to eventually try it, so hey
  4. ...none of these explain why you think they act similar
  5. I don't care if that's the theme. There are already plenty of friends to go around. The game is already splitting its focus between Sora, Riku, Kairi, Xion, Roxas, Lea, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, THIRTEEN XEHANORTS. Also more worlds than KH2. There are so many other plot threads to conclude, too, adding new ones by trying to integrate the ten or so remaining Org members... it's just too much. Just the fact that KH3 is focusing on a fight involving twenty people makes me worried about how impersonal it could be, adding another ten, never mind the expanded cast with people like the Hollow Bastion Committee. I imagine they're going to have some relevance to the plot, they've alreayd established a plot point about some of the members being in a coma of sorts. But helping the other heroes? Being important to the plot? No thanks Just make them show up as backgound ghosts when Sora says he friends are his power, if you must, but please don't bloat KH3 more than it already is I.. what no. Did you read my post? It'd be lame if they were put in only to be defeated by Xehanort, because then their only purpose would be to make Xehanort look stronger Calling them "part of the story" is pretty charitable, considering they were cameos at best
  6. KH3 already has its focus split between way too many characters and having all of these super powerful characters on the side of the heroes significantly reduces the tension, unless they're all brought down easily, at which point bringing them into the story is pretty lame, as they only exist to make Xehanort look stronger
  7. well there's an easy way to take it slow don't tilt the analog stick all the way
  8. great models, just needs better lighting
  9. isn't prishe really energetic and likes to fight?
  10. to be honest, I don't find sensitivity to be an excuse. Learning self control is an important skill, even if you have to learn it through a trial by fire
  11. not even as far as that getting offended is perfectly natural in a person but it shouldn't be so bad that people have to preemptively say that something is their opinion, for fear of someone becoming enraged at them
  12. Did you read my post? I literally said it's not about processing power It's right there I said it Yeah The Witcher and FF15 have lots of NPCs, but that's because they can use a generic human model. They don't have to worry about the aesthetic matching Tangled, or Frozen, or The Princess and the frog, or Tron, or Aladdin. THAT'S what holds NPCs back in KH. They take way more design effort than a normal NPC. If KH games had fewer worlds they could do it, but KH3 has more worlds than KH2 I'm not pretending the NPC isn't a problem. it's jsut one that doesn't currently have a solution, unless Square half asses it, or I greatly underestimated their budget. Like I said earlier, and many times before, creating DISNEY NPCs is different from making just any NPC They have drastically different body types, each world has different looking types of people. It's not a matter of being lazy, it's just something that would be near impossible to do right unless they found a really easy way to make a wide variety of unique models with low effort
  13. I keep noticing this people are so afraid that people will take their opinions as a personal attack, even over minuscule things that really shouldn't offend anybody You don't need to clarify that when you state something it isn't fact. Facts are easy to spot. Saying what you think with confidence isn't a bad thing seriously, this is getting ridiculous, just say what you think, if someone gets offended by other people's opinions... that's their problem
  14. I've had to say this so many times but the problem with addings lots of NPCs isn't a processing power one it's just plain too much effort to make dozens of character designs for each individual world It's already harder than usual to make models because they're Disney designs, rather than a basic human model that can be mapped to any other person
  15. Gliding is a late game ability, and no, it really shouldn't Faster the moment you use it, but then it comes to a complete stop unless you touch another wall That's becuase all the other games had significantly more compact areas. This is'n't an OLD problem, it's a new one that comes from the new size of the worlds I'd very much support this It works fine in KH1 and 2 because everything's on a smaller scale this isn't about rushing, it's about it not taking an hour to get from one end fo the stage to the other it's about time, considering they've had moogles since day one
  16. Flowmotion is functionally the same speed as walking, and it requires a wall to bounce off of in the first place. Not great for when you want to get from point A to point B and KH2 walking is good for KH2 sized stages KH3 is much bigger sounds great until the spectacle wears off and you just want to get from one place to the next
  17. that helps you with vertical movement, but doesn't do a thing for actual travel speed that's something that can only be good until you actually want to get somewhere
  18. The new maps in KH3 look huge so Sora's base movement speed better get a bump. Right now it looks like he moves roughly KH2's, but that's not good enough. You need improved mobility to deal with big areas like what we've seen in KH3 so far
  19. Here's the thing revisits aren't an addition, it's splitting the world's budget in half. Basically the choice is one big world, or two or more smaller visits KH2 had both of those
  20. nice to see the change of pace after other recent Square Enix games like Final Fantasy Type-0 which are very happy and optimistic
  21. they probably just made a corridor of darkness and pushed him in
  22. who's baiting the only thing worse than Tetsuya Nomura is nothing because he's the worst 100% it literally took him a decade to get over the PS2
