  1. It's really up to you, you can make new ones, leave the old ones in your party, and continue to level them up and give them better stats, or you can use new ones, none of them disappear on their own. You have to use a few though to get all abilitys (HP+, exp walk, second chance etc.)
  2. Up until last year I only had a SD TV, so all of my games I played in SD, but I didn't mind because that was all I never saw, I never got the oppurtunity to experience games/movies in high definition. Then my father got me a plasma TV for my birthday, but as luck would have it it's a old one from when high definition was just getting implimented into TV's, so it only supports 1080i and not 720p, it makes gaming on a PS3 really problematic because it downscales everything to 480p if it doesn't support 1080i, and yeah, that's not at all a pretty sight on a plasma. The 360 doesn't have that problem though, and it just upscales each game to 1080i. So basically, half half, I alternate between SD and HD gaming depending on what resolutions the games support and what system I'm playing. Why the facepalm?
  3. Yeah, you basically fight them, get the materials to make them, buy, along with find, and earn the recipes to make them. Fusion of materials to make one is prettymuch like Birth By Sleep, except bonus items give them stat bonus's rather than a ability attached to them (like commands did in BBS) You can also expirement around a bit and fuse materials to make some without having the recipe for them, but it's a bit harder to make them that way. There's also the AR Cards, but they're for bonus ones obtained in them.
  4. I think there was too much forshadowing in DDD of the 7 lights and 13 SoD/darknesses (that Master Xehanort put parts of his heart in) for the members of the new organization that was formed in DDD to not come back for the final battle despite the time inconsistencys/ Plus, Nomura could always make it so they regain their memorys of what actually happened temporarily for the battle, only to have them return to their original times yet again later and forget what happened again. But then again, I suppose that does leave the question of where the 13th darkness chosen by destiny will come from, seeing as how Lea put a end to those plans for Sora to be the 13th.
  5. Assuming it is a legit game, if it doesn't come out this year there's almost no chance of it releasing on the PSP. It's just about dead in the Western world, and it's getting to a very very late period to develop and release games on the system now that the Vita's out. There's still Japan, yeah, but the Vita will pickup next year just like the 3DS did a year after its release and a PSP release wouldn't work out to be too profitable for Square-Enix by then. (it's why they've held back on a Type-0 Western release, the lateness in the PSPs life and the popularity of the PSP in the Western world makes it risky to bring it over here) Besides that, what better a exclusive than a Kingdom Hearts game so early in the Vitas life? (Dream Drop Distance came out/is coming out on the 3DS's second year of life afterall) As for PS3, I'm a little doubtful that it will, that place seems more fitting for the final installment of the Xehanort Chronicles, Kingdom Hearts III. But then again, there have been a few games that have got cross-platform releases on the Vita and PS3 tl;dr if it's legit its very doubtful it'll be on the psp, a vita release would be the most likely for it.
  6. A majority of the time on full, but I'll turn it off for a bit when the battery's low so I get the oppurtunity to charge it/save my game before the battery runs out. I've had the system for a year, and play games on 3D quite a bit, so it doesn't strain my eye like it did when I bought it last year.
  7. Yep, that's the gist of it all. It would also seem Tron and Rinzlers memorys/hearts are linked, despite one being a copy of the other.
  8. Good read! I love it when development teams all have their own ideas/ways of doing things, along with lively personalitys that all come together to make a great game! The Osaka team sure sounds like a nice bunch of people. Most of the character interaction happens in cutscenes in DDD.
  9. You can get them via streetpassing people that already have the exclusive AR Card Dream Eaters apparently, but most of these AR Dream-Eaters are just variations of ones you can get in-game, so you can still get their original forms in-game (eg. Wondernyan is obtainable in-game, but King Wonder Nyan isn't, but WN is the base variation of him) Also AR Cards can work in the same way as having them in person if you have a image of it online, and it's captured good enough, so if they work in the English version I wouldn't worry too much about them not being obtainable, there'll most likely be a few ways to get them if you want them!
  10. I'm quite suprised, I was expecting the Famitsu cover used in last weeks issue to be the cover for this, going by the fact Re:coded and Birth By Sleeps were CGI. Ah well, it still looks nice regardless!
  11. I'm suprised the interview didn't just consist of Iwata and Nomura laughing the whole time.
  12. Yup, sure is! Bought one the other day here in Aus, and it works perfectly on both my Aussie and Japanese 3DS systems.
  13. I never knew Dchiuch had a thing for Pink Nope, the special AR Card is included with all copys of the first batch of DDD in Japan, the same will hopefully happen for the English release
  14. I say yes, but only because I seem to have a thing for girls with long hair
  15. Only for the purpose of seeing his and Clouds story resolved, Kingdom Hearts 2 was weird in how they finished the conflict by taking it to another world/dimension where we couldn't see the climax of their battle I'd rather another person cameo as a Final Fantasy boss, there's alot more characters that would fit that role nicely.
  16. For sure! I only have more reason to now that my old SD TV has stopped working, and I have no means of playing the games other than playing them on a HDTV (which doesn't look so great with PS2 games)
  17. Definately option one! If there wasn't too many livestreams I'd say option two, but there's been a tonne already. Best thing to do (and easiest for you probably) would finish it in your own time and get the cutscenes in as best a quality as you can.
  18. Which Square-Enix games have you been playing? ._. Probably two until the end of the Xehanort Chronicles. One filling in the blank points from Birth By Sleep onwards, and Three, finishing up everything. There's only oh so much they can do until three, there's basically only room for one more game unless they delve even deeper into the past, and Nomura said Birth By Sleep was as far back as Kingdom Hearts would go.
  19. He didn't really reveal anything about what the mark of mastery would consist of, just hinted at Xehanorts Return not being limited to one of him, and that Sora and Riku were going to take the exam. This is what this secret ending is doing, hinting at what will happen in the next game. Also look at a Fragmented passage from BBSFM, then this. They tie in well, they're both hinting at what will happen in the next game, which is what Re:coded did. They forfil the same purpose, just for different games.
  20. Seriously? It was supposed to be similar to Re:codeds, and it looks like we got more out of it than we did Re:codeds, so I think it does. Besides that, we still haven't got trnalsations for the dialog, and it would seem some important things are said. He goes off to somewhere in the ending. (the dream realm to revisit all the dream-eaters going by after the credits)
  21. We need translations, stat! I'm not too sure how the fanbase will react to Kairi after seeing this.
  22. Hooray for more replayability after beating the game!
  23. Not true. A new cutscene in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix in the Xemnas battle strongly implys at some point during KH2 (perhaps after he battled Roxas?) that Sora remembered Namine, (and by extention the events of Castle Oblivion) when he says to Riku he never got to thank Namine.
