  1. Star Wars Battlefront 3, since how that game actually released didn't do it any favors. Also, that one Avengers game where it was an FPS looked pretty cool.
  2. ~Gabranth and Johnny, Sanctuary~ Gabranth grunted as the lasers and the flash hit him, disorienting him but not knocking him down. He looked up to Shantotto and began to charge energy into his sword, "Indeed. But I will not be the only one with scars this day!" Gabranth swung the blade, unleashing the energy towards the tiny mage before he felt his feet come out from under him. He flew through the air and landed near a pillar not too far away. He grunted as he stood back up and faced the tiny mage, "If that was some trick to try and dispose of me, then you shall have no such pleasure! The Judge Magister will draw blood this day!" Johnny was taken aback by the hug, but quickly returned it, watching Gabranth's actions to make sure that the armored man was not watching. "Glad to see someone come to their senses," Johnny said to Elsa. "Look, I don't have much time to explain, but it is me. The actual me." Johnny disengaged the hug and looked Elsa in the eyes, "You've met the other guy, the not-so-nice me. I don't know when he's coming back, but I need you to work with me here. Understand?" (I will wait for KeyofRose to post before I do anything.)
  3. Yeah, it's called "Old Wounds", where it's said that Maul had followed Obi-Wan throughout the entirety of Episodes 2 and 3. It's really more the nature of the old man rematch that's being used, probably not Maul hunting down Luke to draw out Ben.
  4. I'm glad that Infinities story is finally being made canon. It irked me that Maul's story had never really finished, but now, we might get to see how it finally ends. Having Ben and Maul duel it out one last time is fantastic.
  5. Yes, if that's what you believe in.
  6. It's currently 10:54pm where I live, and I've been thinking about all the things that have happened to me in my life during this year. I've lost people, gained others, grown stronger and weaker simultaneously. I figured I'd share some things I've learned over this year, hopefully someone will take something from this post. 1) Never forget how to play. There's going to be a few entries based around "Finding Neverland", since it's probably the work that has inspired me the most this year (I saw it performed last week so it's super fresh in my mind). The reason I put this first on my list is very personal. Last December, I met my nephew for the first time. I've seen him grow up over the course of the year and realized something about myself. I don't know how to work with a child's imagination. "Finding Neverland" brought this up to me in great fashion by actually making a catchy song around a group of adults who have to re-learn how to be children. I want to be able to spark my nephew (as well as my three kid cousins) to create entire worlds and make-up his own stories. 2) Do what makes you believe in, or you will regret it. It sounds super corny, I know. But "Finding Neverland" put it in such a way that made me think of it in such a bigger light. In the words of Captain James Hook, "You can go back to what everyone expects you to be, or you can find the courage to write your own story." 3) Honesty is always the best policy. I've seen a lot of drama go down in 2016, and it always stems from one thing: lack of honesty. Someone lies, promises something they know they can't follow, or just lacking that common sense. It's always better to get the disappointment that comes from the truth right away rather than have trust be lost as well. 4) It's okay to look back, but you should always keep forward momentum. I broke up with an abusive girlfriend last year and this year, she married another man (right around the time I had broken up with her, incidentally). I find myself remembering the actual good times I had with her while we were together, but I always return to the present. I learned valuable lessons from her. No matter what she did to me, I will not let that interfere with who I am. It's good to remember where you've been so that you know where you're going. 5) It's okay to feel weird with death. We all know that we've lost good people this year, whether they be celebrities or people close and intimate. I lost one of my grandfathers a few weeks ago. I did not mourn him. That sounds weird, but here's why. I never really knew him. The most I can remember from my childhood was him sculpting. In recent years, whoever he was was long gone (he had dementia). It was more the body catching up with the brain. A week later, Carrie Fisher dies. I'm actually sad about this. Why do I feel sadder about a person I never met rather than a man who was there when I was born? Death affects us all differently. That's fine. It's okay to mourn differently 6) Keep moving forward. You will fall. You will stumble. But you will have to get up. If you stay down, you die. With whatever you do in life, make sure that your failures do not discourage you. It's not how many times you fail, it's about how you use those failures to keep going. You will succeed, but you have to keep going. Nothing comes free to you. It's all up to you. (I thought there would be more to say, but I guess that's it. Good night everyone. See you in a year.)
  7. If I were to suggest anything be added, I'd add a bit of the Evil Queen and Jafar, maybe the sword Mickey uses to defeat Maleficent? All in all, it's a great design, it looks like it could belong in a proper KH title.
  8. We have five days left, 2016. Stop taking people away from me.
  9. I'm voting Episode V, just because it's my favorite Star Wars movie. Now the only thing I can think of is how they're going to work this into the new trilogy. She finished her part for VIII, so what happens next?
  10. ~Johnny and Gabranth, Sanctuary~ Johnny took the blast and the slap, getting more and more aggravated as this went on. I'm on your side, you jerk! I'm trying to warn you! Johnny scowled as he looked up at Elsa, who had gotten free from him. "And what could you possibly know about control, Elsa? You have all this power and yet lack the basic temperament to use it!" Johnny grabbed his sword and held it in front of him, ready to battle. "But now your time has come. You must stand and face me and Gabranth." She wasn't going to listen to him. He had to fight her. For real. The blast hit Gabranth and knocked him slightly off balance. He stumbled forward and turned to the direction he was hit, seeing the woman and the child. "Or perhaps you would rather be the first to taste the judge's blade?"
  11. ~Johnny and Gabranth, Sanctuary~ Johnny rolled his eyes as Elsa lay beneath him, crying. Of course. It was never going to be easy. Johnny took a chance, taking his left hand off of Elsa's right and placed it on her head. I have to try and link up, bring her back. Johnny succeeded and looked for the one memory he needed to kick her back into a functioning state. Where would her greatest memory of me be? Johnny thought to himself before finding it. When we met, when she found herself here. Johnny focused on the moment, forcing himself and Elsa to relive that moment. I sure hope this works. Gabranth watched as the man in red was thrown aside and the two women fighting amongst themselves. He approached the small lady mage and held one sword towards her. "You, the one called Shantotto," he said, his voice echoing from his helmet. "It is you who shall face my judgement first and foremost!"
  12. ~Johnny, Sanctuary~ Excalibur missed, of course, but Elsa had delayed long enough to make it look like an authentic dodge. Johnny then took the opportunity laid out by Elsa's toss of the warrior in red. Johnny leapt at Elsa, tackling her to the ground. The two landed with a splash of water. Johnny pinned Elsa's arms to prevent her from attacking and leaned in toward her ear. "Don't struggle, it's me. I don't really have time to explain, but you need to know I'm still on your side."
  13. ~Johnny and Gabranth, Sanctuary~ Johnny felt the fire on his back, but knew that his armor was the only thing that had been damaged. "Bad move, Hannah," Johnny said before raising his arm sharply behind him, hoping to blindly hit her. Gabranth crossed his swords across his chest and began to charge energy into them, before looking up to those in front of the throne, "You shall face judgement!" Gabranth then swung his two swords to his side, releasing a blast around him, disrupting the balls of light. Johnny took this opportunity to dash over to Elsa, but as he moved past her to get behind her, he whispered into her ear. "Duck left." Johnny stood behind her, raising his sword and prepared to drop it on her.
  14. ~Johnny, Sanctuary~ Johnny laughed as everyone began to focus on Gabranth. Of course no one turned to see him on the opposite side of the throne. Time to save his butt. Johnny dashed over to Hannah and deflected her blade before pushing her off-balance. Then he ran in front of the Gaster Blasts and ran his blade in front of them, dissipating them. Last, he dashed back in front of Gabranth and cut down each shockwave being sent towards him. "You want the other guy?" Johnny called out to the man in red. "Here I am."
  15. ~Johnny, Sanctuary~ "Damn," Johnny cursed, striking the pillar in front of him. "They know we're here, and they're on edge." "Our element of surprise is lost," the armored man said. "We are outnumbered." Johnny shook his head, "They still don't know who they're fighting. We could take them." "And how do you suppose we do that?" Johnny shot a cocky smile, "None of them know how to fight me. I can run circles around these losers." The armored man readied his two swords, "You count on your speed to save you?" "You can't hit what you can't see." "Then let them know our power. They shall be judged." The armored man turned from his concealment from the pillar. allowing all to see him. "Warriors of Cosmos, your day of reckoning has arrived!" an angry voice called out from the man. "I have come to do battle and judge all those who stand against me!" The man began to walk forward, raising his blades across his chest. Then a massive burst of wind echoed past those by Cosmos' throne. On the other side, a figure in dark armor, a massive greatsword on his back. "Lady Cosmos, I have returned," he said as he reached for his blade. "And I have come to claim that which is rightfully mine!" The man in armor began to swing his swords as he walked, sending shockwaves out towards the throne, "As Judge Magister, I shall decide whether or not any of your lives are worth living!" ~Garland, Old Chaos Shrine~ "Like I said before, lure him out. Isolate him," Garland said, readying his greatsword by his side. "Surely if you can sense him and his movements, he can sense you." ~Zack, North of Cornelia~ Zack smiled at the girls. From what he remembered of SOLDIER before he was summoned, it was nothing like this. The atmosphere was doom and gloom then, as everyone was practically gone. But here... Here, they knew they were in danger, possibly outnumbered at any second and yet...they laughed, they smiled, they giggled. Like everything was just going to be a fun day at the park. You know better than that. Zack turned to look due south, "Looks like we're almost there. You can see the castle from here." ~Terra, Old Chaos Shrine~ Terra pulled on Xing's shirt, "C'mon, let's get out of here. If we're lucky, we might actually find something to do."
  16. Rogue One is awesome.
  17. ~Garland, Old Chaos Shrine~ Garland grabbed Anna by the scruff of her neck, "Insolent child! Do you not have a task to before for Lord Chaos? Be on your way, else you shall deal with me!" Garland released her and turned his attention to Kuro, "As for your matter, I shall go with you to hunt this one you seek. These two would be most unfit for dealing with that one again." Garland stopped to address Terra and Xing, "And you two. Should you still be here when I return, you will be dealt with." ~Cosmos, Sanctuary~ "Shantotto," Cosmos turned to the diminutive warrior. "I had meant no offense. You had news to report?" ~Johnny and ???, outskirts of Sanctuary~ Johnny had rendezvoused with the warrior of Chaos outside Sanctuary, and the two now planned their attack. "You know their ways in combat," the warrior in armor said. "Which ones will be the most difficult?" Johnny pointed to the small woman standing near Cosmos, "Shantotto. I heard she was a mage, more powerful than she looks. It's not her size, just how she uses it." "After that?" Johnny focused on Elsa, "Elsa. I've fought her before. She can hit you close or far. Don't doubt her, one slip-up and you could easily lose." "What of the goddess?" "I doubt Cosmos will fight unless challenged directly," Johnny said, before pointing out a lighter-haired male dressed in red. "That guy, he could be an oddball. I've never seen him before." "Then he is one of the middle-ground," the warrior said, before readying his weapons. "When shall we go forth?" "Patience," Johnny said. "I'm working on a plan here." ~Zack, west of Cornelia~ Zack nodded, "Go. I'll hang back and keep an eye on the peanut gallery." Zack stopped to wait for Aqua, Nami and Xion to catch up. When they were all together again, Zack continued walking, "C'mon, guys! I thought we were going to hurry to Cosmos, not take a leisurely stroll!"
  18. ~Cosmos, Sanctuary~ The goddess turned to look at the girls, who were still over by the throne, "He will do no harm. You have my word." Cosmos turned back to Shiro, "One of my warriors has been taken by the forces of Chaos and has been turned against me." ~Terra, Garland and Johnny, Old Chaos Shrine~ "Alright then," Terra said, crossing his arms and looking back to where Garland had gone. Garland then returned to the shrine and spoke, "Johnny, you have been given a second chance to apprehend the girl Elsa. Another of our number is already by her current location, and you two should be sufficient to take care of any opposition there." Johnny knelt before the armored man, "It shall be done." With that, a dark corridor opened and Johnny stepped through. ~Zack, outskirts of Melmond~ Zack nodded, "Yeah, especially with Xion. If they can track her, they can find us. What do you have in mind?"
  19. What about the other case? Riku has two in that screenshot.
  20. ~Chaos and Garland, Chaos' Throne at the Edge of Madness~ Chaos smiled at Anna, "Good. I find your conditions agreeable. Go then." Chaos then turned his attention to Kuro, "This one you speak of...Shiro, was it? He can still be of value to us." Chaos leaned over to him, "If you wish to fight him, then lure him out. Force him to come to you." Chaos' voice then took a darker tone, "But if you kill him, you will contend with my anger." Garland stepped forward, "My lord, what of the one called Elsa? Who shall go after her?" Chaos turned to the armored man, "An interesting question indeed. She has returned to Cosmos' fold, and surely more warriors are on their way. Who of our number stands the best chance on infiltrating Cosmos' dwelling?" ~Terra and Johnny, Old Chaos Shrine~ Terra scoffed at Kuro's comment after he disappeared, "If that guy thinks he could have done it better, I'd like to see him try." Terra then looked over to Xing, "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." Johnny stood behind a pillar, clutching his head in his hands. Focus. Repeat it. My name is Johnny Mercer. I fight for Cosmos. ~Zack and Tay, Melmond~ Zack nodded at the Warrior and smiled at the party before him, "Right! C'mon guys!" With that, he started to run, his energy clearly visible. Tay pulled on the chains on Xion's coat, "You should come with, Xion. If those Chaos guys come back for you, it'll be safer to be in a group." ~Cosmos, Sanctuary~ The goddess smiled, "I am glad for your decision. With recent events, we could use every hand we have to help."
  21. One does not simply say no to Zack Fair. I say yes.
  22. Just bought my tickets for Rogue One! And going to see Moana today! Wubba-lubba-dub-dub!
