  1. Microsoft is a company. Same with Nintendo and Sony. The number one goal of a company is ALWAYS to make money. It's not only to support themselves and their families, but they have a responsibility to return the money to their investors. There is nothing wrong with trying to make money as long as it's not illegal or immoral. Microsoft has done nothing illegal or immoral so no need to call them evil for trying to make a buck. I know it's makes you feel nice and warm inside believing that companies do things just to be nice and just for the fans, but no, the incentive is making money. If being nice and pleasing fans is how they will make the most money then that's how they will do it. On the other hand, if acting like a jerk and screwing fans over is how to make the most money that's how they will do it. I'm not saying I liked the online check ups and blocked used games Microsoft originally had, but it has to be acknowledged that there is nothing wrong with a business trying to make money. Money makes the world go around. Without money everything stops. Because doing that would be an idiotic decision and cause them to lose all of their customers and the gaming division of Microsoft would completely crumble causing the company to lose millions of dollars and sending thousands of people to unemployment offices. Microsoft and all business for that matter aren't (always) evil monsters who try to screw people over every chance they get just for fun.
  2. Now I'm certainly getting an Xbox One. I was leaning towards the PS4 despite the better exclusives coming out for the Xbox One. Now that the two biggest issues with the Xbox One have been taken care of I say it's worth getting. Just don't do anything with that special someone in front of your Kinect, Bill Gates might be watching.
  3. Hopefully aliens hate benders as much as I do.
  4. Just talk to him like any other person and let that grow from there. Start off slow, try saying one thing to him every day, even if it's just saying hello. Then move that up to talking to him twice a day and so on until you start talking a lot.
  5. Congratulamations!
  6. My friends are my drama, and I'm theirs.
  7. The console is shit but I honestly feel that the games line up for it are better. As opposed to the PS4 being the better console with the lesser exclusive line up. So basically, we're back to how things were with the onset of the Xbox 360 and the PS3. The shitty console with good exclusives vs the good console with shitty exclusives.
  8. You don't have to be a computer wiz and programmer to work on game development. These days, many games have the budgets of Hollywood movies and lately, they have costed more to make and made more money than movies. Call of Duty, as much as I dislike the games, is a good example of this. There are a lot of jobs available in the gaming industry, pretty much anyone can take part in it in some way.
  9. This reminds me of something. I feel that a lot of FPS have blurred this generation's outlook on war. A Sesame Street episode is more close to the reality of war than a COD game.
  10. 9.5 from me. KH3 and Battlefront 3 were announced! Brilliant! If Half-Life 3 was also announced it would of been the best E3 ever.
  11. The sub is pretty good but the show overall is amazing. The premise is so stupid, silly, and ridiculous (in a good way), yet somehow the creators managed to make it more than that. The characters are really interesting with a lot of personality and surprisingly get well developed as the story goes on. The setting and premise as unbelievable as it is, is actually believable. To put it in a nutshell, it's not just a show where schoolgirls get in tanks and antics occur. There's more to it.
  12. To the Moon. It's an indie game . Gameplay is similar to the old Final Fantasy games but it's all story telling and some puzzles. No actual combat except for one very funny part. It's honestly one of the best games I've ever played. It shows how games are no longer just a way to pass time and entertain yourself, but are legitimate story telling mediums like movies, books, and tv shows. I'm pretty sure you can get it on steam now
  13. Curiosity got the best of me and I watched part of the dub My ears. I want them removed.
  14. First and only game to make me cry was this. Never play the whole thing in one day, you'll dry out your eyes from crying too much.
  15. That was so sweet! As someone who is currently in a long distance relationship with someone I know how you feel. We first met in person but a lot of our communication has been online as of late. Anyway, hang in there! If you need someone to talk to about this you can drop me a message.
  16. My mother's side is from the Philippines and my mother was among the first in the family to immigrate to America! Everyone on my father's side came to America in the first half of the 20th century. Either to escape from Soviets or Nazi's.
  17. Russian/Jewish/Chinese/Pacific Islander/Spanish/ Mixed race is best race?
  18. Things cost more in Australia because of shipping. For example, those 3 foot thick tungsten reinforced walls on freight trains in Australia just barely keep the Kangaroo gangs from getting to the precious cargo. When the Dingos show up though you're gonna need to take them out with the particle cannon.
  19. How old are the girls? I'm wondering if I should find them cute or attractive.
  20. But they don't have tanks and school girls
  21. Anyone know where I can find full episodes of this?
  22. Oh no! Please don't put it on the Xbox One! Anything but bring the game to more people and increase sales so Square Enix makes more money and can make more Kingdom Hearts games! So fanboys...
  23. Polls about Microsoft on this forum are about as unbiased as a Fox News report on Gay Marriage.
  24. I really liked Project: Spark. Anyone that has played Spore and Dust will probably find it very interesting. Despite all of the faults of the Xbox One, the games it has going for it look pretty good. Obviously being a mostly Playstation community some people will hate everything just because it's on Xbox. The conference could have been more exciting but was pretty good overall. And the price really isn't that bad. Keep in mind that on launch the Playstation 3 was 400 to 600 dollars. The Xbox One being 500 dollars even with inflation isn't really bad. You're probably not going to see any better from Sony too.
