  1. Hearing all she needed, the Survivor dropped into the camp and rolled up into a firing position, arrow aimed right for Harry's heart from a few yards away. "Don't move." She growled from behind Harry. "Mr. Null said you would be coming. Said a thrall of the Witch would try to kill me. Also said I should just kill who ever she sent, but I'm gonna give you a chance to walk away. The Blue Heart isn't hers and it is not yours. Get out of this while you can." Her eyes darted around at the other people there, marking targets in case one of them tried any heroics.
  2. {Deep Jungle} Above Tarzan and Harry, The Survivor perched in a tree. She had been here several days like Mr. Null had told her. She had avoided the ape-man for that time, unsure if he was friend or foe. But the new one mentioned a blue heart, just like Mr. Null had said. That meant he worked for the Witch. There was also another person watching ape-man and the Witch's thrall, but until he confirmed his intent, she dare not go against him. It could be that other person Mr. Null said might "drop in" that was a friend of his. So for now, she would have to make sure the Witch's thrall left empty handed. One way or another. Using vines and a nimble parkour style, the Survivor followed after Tarzan and Harry.
  3. {Lacuna: Castle Guard; The Keep} Lacuna's multicolored eyes flared with anger at Chi Zong. She didn't have time for this. "Good for them." She said in an irritated tone. She brought her hands together and slowly drew them apart, revealing crackling energy. "Tell them I'm up for lunch after I'm done deal with some personal problems, 'kay?" The energy in her hands settled down to a reddish and jagged crystal shard. "Take this." Lacuna told Henry, tossing him the shard. "I'll be able to follow with this. Now, get to the Deep Jungle and find the Heart! Find it, and you can get your girlfriend back. If numbnuts here wants to do more than make 'ominous' observations, I'll deal with it. Now go!"
  4. {Lacuna: Castle Guard; The Keep} "There you are!" Lacuna's voice came faintly. It took a couple of moments for the Void Witch to fade into view. She looked like a mix of petulant and worried. "I was starting to think that the next person I'd see is that Null creep or one of his agents. I've been feeling his influence in the world." She took a steadying breath, then grinned. "But I also got a lead on the Heart of Blue." She said in a triumphant tone. "We move fast, we might beat that freakizoid. Did you get that back up you went for?"
  5. Raj listened to Kai and Pixie with an impassive face aside from one slightly raised eye brow. He had a brief interaction with Kokiri while once traveling through their forest, so knew only a little about them. Still, what he knew made him surprised that Kai was here. The surprise somewhat diminished when a Zora and a Sheikah arrived, also sporting letters. The hand of fate seemed to be drawing on all walks for this task. This was becoming more intriguing. "It is an honor to travel with one of the Sheikah." Raj said with a bow to Rabiyu. "Your people's reputation is well earned." He gave another bow to Kalifa. "A greeting to you as well, m'lady. I am Raj, crown prince of the Gerudo. I was traveling through these lands with a companion when the letter came to me. It seems we all understood the urgency of the message." Pausing a moment, Raj sighed. "Since she is being discourteous, I will introduce my companion Nox." He turned to look at his shadow, but saw none of the hints that she was there. "Though it appears she is off skulking else where. I am sure she will catch up later. As is, I believe it is important to see Princess Zelda as soon as possible." Nox was indeed skulking around the square, reaching out with her power to see if she could detect the sorcerer she had come to this wretchedly bright realm for. She didn't expect to find him among the Hylians, but she hadn't been trained to over look possibilities. She was still close enough to hear some of the introductions Raj was participating in. The number of letter recipients was worrying. How big a threat was Zelda facing? And would it spill into the Twilight Realm?
  6. Hey, Sabre, how old is Eclaire? I'm trying to figure out if Mariel would have heard of her parents' union or her birth before her exile.
  7. {Mariel: Rebellion of Mystras; Center Flank} Mariel stood with the soldiers in the center flank of the combined troops of Lord Raiden and King Alderon, still in human guise. It had been a long time since she had assumed her true form. This one just felt comfortable at this point. Plus, there was still the question of what Alderon would think if one of his scouts turned into an angel. She figured she'd wait until the heat of battle to turn when it could be unnoticed or less likely acted upon. "'Once more into the breach...'" she thought as she looked around at the faces around her. She had considered still going off to help Raiden's spys, but he had asked her to stay for the battle and she couldn't deny him that. Plus, she couldn't lie to herself and say she didn't look forward to the coming battle. Combat was in her blood. What she had been taught since birth. What she did every damn day. But she had to remember the purpose. This was a means to an end. Peace. Taking a deep breath, Mariel moved along the lines to take up a place by Sifrei. While she had not known him long, it was good to have the company of another angel after all this time. He might not understand the duty she was under, but it was nice to have acceptance of at least one of her brethren of what she had done.
  8. Raj stood on a rise, looking at the city that surrounded Hyrule Castle. He had thus far avoided Hyrule for...historical reasons. He always figured he'd need to walk among them at some point. Still... "You're mopping again." Nox grumbled from Raj's shadow. "Introspection is not mopping, Nox." He replied with a sigh. "Still means you're not moving." The Twili Imp retorted. With a grunt, Raj got moving again, heading into the city. He got some stares from the inhabitants, but no one challenged him. Well, so far so good. At first he was tempted to wander the streets for a while and get a better vibe of the Hylain people. But the letter seemed urgent. Plus, it was better diplomatically if the Prince of the Gerudo presented himself to the Princess rather than spied on her people. On his way to the castle, he noticed a what he though was a little boy with a fairy. Then the boy pulled out a letter just like the one Raj had received. "Interesting." He muttered to himself, picking up his pace. As his shadow fell across martlet stalls, Nox entered the shadows of the city to get a better vantage point on the streets. "Excuse me." Raj called out as he caught up with Kokiri boy. "I believe we have a similar purpose." From his robes, He pulled out his letter and showed it to Kai. "My name is Raj."
  9. Up to the flow of the game. Heh, this could get interesting. I considered working the attack into Ina's back story, but I wasn't too sure of the timeline. I figure she's been on her own for 4 or 5 years. Or I could rework things so that she mysteriously disappeared shortly before the Red Lotus attacked...
  10. Name: Inazuma "Ina" Luo Age: 25 Gender: Female Appearance: Bio: Ina was born to a fire bending father and an air bending mother. Her mother was empowered by the Harmonic Convergence, but refused to join the other Air Benders at Air Bender Island, not wanting to exchange a heritage she was proud of for a foreign one. Years later, their daughter Ina displayed air bending skills at a young age. While steadfast in her own decision, Ina's mother insisted that Ina get the chance to decide what path she wished to follow. Confused and scared, young Ina decided to train at Air Bender island. During her studies there, she was identified as a powerful bender, even able to read air currents through her usually tangled mop of hair. During her later years of training, she began focusing on meditation to fulfill answers about the universe that burned in her mind. She was close to being anointed a Master and receive her tattoos when she embarked on a spiritual journey to find the answers she sought. She mediated for a full day, only to come out of it with a scream. Clearly shaken by something in her journey, masters and friends questioned Ina as to what she had seen, but she refused to answer. On the eve of her anointment, she vanished from the air temple. Reports of her came from all over the world, degrading from a curious nomad to a chaotic thief who was reported to have killed some who had threatened her freedom. While she has kept out of the war between the Lotuses, it is unclear now which side she would join if forced to choose. Affiliation: Neutral Element: Air Element Specialty (optional): Hypersensitivity Weapon(s): throwing stars (made out of platinum)
  11. {Mariel: Mystras: Raiden's Villa} Mariel's eyes narrowed as Sifrei introduced himself and his lineage. She knew the name Lucifer. It was not one she would trust easily. But as a possibly fallen angel herself, it was perhaps not her place to judge, especially not his child. She took Sifrei's hand in a strong, sure grip. "A pleasure to meet, Ophaniel." She greeted. "If you do not mind me using that name. It is good to meet another angel, though I doubt my return to the hosts will be well received, for more than my time among humans." Raiden's explanation of the situation matched the bits and pieces Mariel had put together herself. Another war. Part of her was thrilled. The joy of battle lives in the heart of all Guardian Angels, Mariel included. But the wise ones among the Guardians knew to curb that desire. Battle was a means to an end. A way to ensure a greater good survived. "While I've been out of touch for a while, I would honored to try to make contact with your spies in Kilkes Seres, or escort another to do so." The former Archon offered. "The sooner this war is ended, the better off everyone will be." She raised an eyebrow at Alastor mentioning a friend, but didn't comment on it.
  12. Raj was folding up his sleeping roll when he caught sight of something fluttering in the breeze. His blue eyes narrowed as he studied it, identifying the object as a sealed envelope. Straightening up, the Gerudo Prince noticed the envelope was floating towards him. Reaching out a hand, the letter came to rest gentle in his palm. "Intriguing." He muttered as he brought it closer for inspection. "Stealing my mail, huh?" A petulant voice said behind him. Raj half turned to look into his shadow, where two blue eyes looked back. "Pen pals with Hylian royalty?" He asked wryly, holding up the latter for Nox to look at. The shining blue eyes in the shadow widened slightly. "Must have gotten lost, or dropped somewhere by a messenger." The Imp said, her voice thoughtful. "Possibly, but unlikely." Raj replied as he started walking to the shade of a tree. "There is no name or address." Once the Gerudo Prince was inside the shade of the tree, Nox sprang out of his shadow. She planted her hands on her hips and huffed. "Better check it then." She said. "No." Raj said. "We will return it to a Hylian official and be on our way." "Backing down, sand boy?" Nox asked, squinting at her companion. "Not at all. I simply don't think that a mysterious letter from Hyrule's royal family was intended for a bandit prince and an imp." "Fate's like that, red." Nox answered petulantly. "I saw it. It came directly to you. Where's your curiousity at?" Raj made a face, but remained silent. True, he was curious about the letter. But with iffy relations between his people and Hyrule, he wasn't sure it was best for him to get involved with potentially an internal Hylian matter. And yet if through this he could prove good intentions... Kneeling down, Raj began to open the letter. Nox scrabbled over to his side and peered at the parchment. With the note out, both read it swiftly. A grim smile played across Nox's face. A possible lead. "Still wanna ditch and run?" She asked as her mind raced with the possibilities. "That is no longer an option." Raj said, standing up. "We read the letter, therefore we are bound by its request." Folding up the letter carefully, he placed it in his robes and finished packing his gear. Taking his spear as a walking stick, he headed for Hyrule Castle, the scheming Nox riding in his shadow.
  13. {Mariel: Mystras; Raiden's Villa} Mariel's eyes narrowed at Alastor's comment. So, there was someone else to worry about. She was about to ask Alastor to explain when her question about Alexander was answered by the exact wrong person. She half turned to look at Sifrei with a wooden look on her face. The angelic presence she had been trying to stay away from and come upon her during her distracted reminiscing. "Yep, definitely an Arch." She thought sourly. How would this archangel would react to a Guardian Angel who broke doctrine and had spent so long away from the Hosts? She could try to lie...no. She had been living a lie for nearly two millennia. She was tired of it and she had to face the angelic hosts sometimes. If this Archangel took her back to face Seraphim judgement, so be it. "M'lord." Mariel said to Sifrei, giving him an angelic salute. "I am Archon Mariel of the 7th Guardian Legion, the only survivor of the 7th and witness to the loss of the 3rd and 12th Legions."
  14. Deciding on making use of her time waiting on the boys, Xion double checked that she had the supplies she needed for her first few classes in her backpack. She'd need to switch out some books for later classes, but there was enough time for that worked into her schedule. Maybe the beginning of this term, she could get through the first few days without being a nervous wreck. She was running through the daily routine she had mapped out when Roxas called. "Coming!" She called as she zipped up her back pack and slung it over her shoulders. She came out, but paused in her tracks when she saw Ephemer and Pense. "Oh, hi." She said. "Didn't hear you. I'm Xion."
  15. {Mariel: Mystras; Raiden's Villa} Raiden taking Mariel's hand sent a jolt through her. A part of a past she had long since buried was with her and still breathing. It had been so long ago. And yet, her once young pupil still recognized her, even in her human guise. A few tears welled up in her eyes as she truly realized her over two millennia of exile were over. There were still those who remembered her to greet her back. With a short snif, Mariel blinked away the tears as Raiden introduced his compainion. "A pleasure to meet you, Ser Alastor." She greeted, smiling again. "Good to see Odi--Raiden is still making friends." Her expression became more serious as she considered what could have happened in the Overworld in her absence. "I do apologize for this abrupt arrival. I've been trapped in the World Below since the formation of that barrier. I came to make sure the humans were not being set up for a slaughter by a silvery tongued Fey." Here eyes narrowed as that last line reminded her of an old wound. "Speaking of which, what became of King Alexander?" Mariel asked, a hint of venom in her voice and the glint of something dangerous in her eyes.
