  1. What Sora96 said. Being able to have discussions with your parents is a good thing, cuz that implies that both sides listen to each other. Arguments on the other hand, not so much so I'll assume that's what you meant. I used to not like my parents like any other teenager, but now we get along alright. I'm not as close with my mom as I used to be, but the relationship with my dad has gotten a lot better over the years.
  2. The post that you quoted was talking about people, so yeah, there you have it. Besides, if people don't make a country, what does?
  3. That's fine if that works for you. I refuse to believe that one person's life is more valuable than someone else's.
  4. Cuz I'm fed up. And if you choose to view life and the world in the way you do, that's your loss I just can't take you seriously anymore. I'm done.
  5. Personally, i think the E1000 is a piece of crap it doesn't have WiFi and stuff, so if you'd want to play BBS (mirage arena) against someone else that might be a problem.
  6. I have nothing against being patriotic (being proud of your country), I have something against thinking you're superior and looking down on other countries/people to make yourself feel better. There's this other guy who did that once, what was his name again... Oh, right. Hitler.
  7. I didn't quote cuz i hate big blobs of text to be quoted. And what you don't get is that your attitude is what causes an anti-American attitude overseas. Yes, in Europe too. And to say that you're better than other countries is the saddest thing anyone can say (about any country, by the way). If America were to disappear, yeah, we would be in trouble, since it owes the rest of the world tons of money. If Saudi-Arabia wakes up tomorrow and says: "You know what, we like Euros better than Dollars", America would go down. Simple as that.
  8. ^ You obviously don't get it. That's fine. It just proves my point. You're only aggrevating the situation by thinking you're better than other people (or: your country is better than other countries).
  9. Yeah, and he'll be approved by the US government, just like Saddam, Bin Laden, Khaddafi, Mubarak and all those other guys. If the US government really cared about the people, why haven't they invaded Saudi Arabia yet? Oh, right, oil... Some of the responses in this thread really sicken me. And these responses are exactly the reason WHY the bridge between East and West is crumbling. Thinking you know better. Stigmatizing entire nations. Ever heard of the stigmatization theory? Google it, you might learn something. On topic: Good that they're leaving, they had no business there in the first place. And to all Obama-bashers: stuff like that (bringing the troops home) can't happen overnight.
  10. "Excuse me. Everyone, I have a brief announcement to make. Jesus was black, Ronald Reagan was the devil, and the government is lying about 9-11. Thank you for your time and good night." - Huey Freeman (the Boondocks)
  11. *sigh* here we go again with the whole "Disney hates KH"-drama... If you don't want it to continue after 3, stop playing it. Life really is that simple.
  12. You know what? Marriage has become disposable in this day and age. I'm a traditionalist, so I always said that marriage should be a union between a man and a woman. But I've met soooooo many people who don't want to marry (although they do act like they are; living together, kids and all) that I've changed my mind. If gays want to marry, let them marry. At least they value it. *EDIT* I also want to add this: yes, I am religious. But the whole point of being religious is that we don't get to judge people; God does. So I'll leave it up to Him. All I can do is try to be the best person I can be.
  13. Kingdom Hearts, obviously. Other than that I love the original Crash Bandicoot games. NBA Jam is fun to play with friends.
  14. I've always liked "Shut up and listen"...
  15. We are taught you must blame your father, your sisters, your brothers, the school, the teachers - but never blame yourself. It's never your fault. But it's always your fault, because if you wanted to change you're the one who has got to change. - Katharine Hepburn
  16. Really? I didn't get the vibe that you don't care at all... But yeah, it's just music... Sort of
  17. I disagree. Breaking up might get better, but it'll shape you for the rest of your life. Being rejected is a bitter pill to swallow, but you'll love again. Also, if you really love this person you'd want him/her to be happy, even if that means without you. My answer might also have to do with my not believing in "the one" though.
  18. You can't unlock that part until you beat all the Absent Silhouettes right? Cuz with the English patch, Larxene doesn't work. Guess I'll have to play it in Japanese *EDIT* Yay I got the Larxene one to work!
  19. I have all of them Mainly because it's a Naughty Dog series. Crash Bandicoot was the first game we got on our very first oldschool big grey Playstation
  20. Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people. - Eleanor Roosevelt
  21. Wouldn't a similar question be: who put the treasure chests there?
