Luxord: "...Did the good gents from higher up send you to bring me in? number 7." Saix: "You missed your inauguration ceremony, why?" Luxord: "Just didn't feel like joining the party, it was a tad boring to be honest, what with all the people with no Hearts and such." Saix: "Did i miss something or did you entirely forget the fact that you yourself possess no Heart, hence why you are here in the first place." Luxord: "Oh i know fully well that i have no Heart mister Saix but still, that doesn't mean i can't play to the folly of pretending that i have one, no?" Saix: "...How foolish." Xemnas: "...This prince, what is his name?" Xaldin: "Adam i do believe sire." Xemnas: "Hmm...i do believe, that i can see his future..." Xaldin: "Lord?" Xemnas: "Blinded by arrogance of the supreme and pride of the most blinded, this prince will one day lose his name and when he does, he shall become...something else, something far more useful to our plans, you were right, to trust your intuitions about this prince Xaldin, keep an eye on him and let us see if he shall become something worthy of joining the Organization..." "...You are...a member of the royal guard of the Worlds? but i thought-" said Sea before being interrupted by Land, saying the words "THEY had thought that the old guard had, to say in ways, "kicked the bucket" or even gone "extinct" upon the "monster's" ultimate defeat." said Land, as Sea gave Land eyes filled with death stares, full of danger and daggers to go along with them before saying politely towards the officer "...Sorry for my companion's abrupt and especially rude behavior but he does make a fair point, i thought that the royal guard were disbanded upon the Heartless Xehanort's final defeat..." said Sea, Sky, upon hearing the Heartless Xehanort's name then started to blank out a little, saying to himself without anyone noticing "...Heartless...Xehanort?" just then both suddenly and shockingly, he recalled the monster he saw before when he entered a "Dive to his Heart" after Land had knocked him out previously during their battle, after recalling the Memory of the monster, Sky shook his head a little and lastly proceeded to continue listening to Sea talking with the officer, hoping to find out more about the Keysword wielders' connections to other Worlds and their authoritative figures whilst especially trying to figure out the nature of his, Sea and Land's mission, of why they were sent out away from home by their masters, given the mission that they were and must now complete it at all costs, lest Darkness should cover the entire universe itself.

GA!" shouted out Riku after a long and heated conversation, during which he started to speak in a more lower pitch, due to the powers of Darkness slowly arising within him and upon reaching the end of the conversation, does Riku get up, disgusted with both Mickey but more importantly especially himself and runs off, heading in the direction of Hollow Bastion, as Mickey is left behind all alone, reaching out his hand towards Riku, sadly pondering on his words, Riku continues to run both in and during the night until by morning does he arrive at a blue uniquely styled pattern circle shaped ground, where here, after running all night long does he finally run out of breath and tries to regain his stamina whilst saying to himself the words: "...Ha, ha, ha, ha...i don't...i don't need him, i've gotten fine, all fine by myself since Castle Oblivion, i can find the Keyhole "his majesty" spoke of and then i can finally prove that i'm well capable on my own without his or anyone else for that matter's help, i'll finally prove that i can master the Darkness all on my own both to Mickey and...myself..." said Riku with words of determination, though those exact words were a double edge sword, as although Riku intended to carry out his promise of finding the Keyhole that will access the Lanes Between all by himself, in his Heart, he was doubting whether or not he could do so again all by himself, nevertheless, Riku continued onward, until eventually finding an entrance leading to Hollow Bastion's main town, here, Riku found himself with unfamiliar sights and, as he began exploring the town, he then found himself confronted with Emblem Heartless he had never seen before, summoning his weapon and fighting them, Riku defeats the Heartless in the central plaza of the town before then spotting a both strange and mysterious figure wearing a Black Coat just like Riku himself, remembering the ones he confronted back in Castle Oblivion, Riku wonders if this was Organization XIII that Yen Sid talked about, deciding that there was only one way to find out, Riku chased after the hooded figure, eventually chasing him all the way to the main water supply of Hollow Bastion's city, taking safety precautions, Riku puts up his hood so that the other person in a Black Coat does not know who he is, at the main water supply, Riku confronts the person, surrounded by the white creatures, the Nobodies that he met back in Twilight Town and the other person meekly talks to Riku, saying the words: "Ah! hey! i thought you said that this was MY assignment! what are you doing here!?" "..." "Oh ho! giving me the silent treatment then is it!? you must be either Saix, Xaldin, or...GASP! wait! you can't be! the-the-THE SUPERIOR!?!? but-but he NEVER comes out on any missions! EVER! ohhh man, what am i going to do now!? i can't explain to the Superior himself that i have been just loafing around this World, not actually doing what i was told to do, by he himself personally i might add, wait, i'm turning my back on him, GASP! I'M TURNING MY BACK ON HIM!" said the other person, although Riku found his personality to be a bit...odd, to say, as a term of endearment, Riku however, felt something off about this both strange and mysterious person, it was though although he was speaking with both reaction and emotion, there...was nothing, nothing...to be sensed from these reactions and emotions, it was, almost, as though, this person was faking the conversation entirely, just then: "...Huh? hey, wait...if you really WERE the Superior, you'd be speaking by now, tell me, what's your name?" "...Eodus...my name's...Eodus..." "...EODUS? huh? funny...i don't ever remember there being a person called Eodus within the Organization..." "...I'm, new..." "REALLY? IS-THAT-SO? then tell me, what's your new rank? are you a XIV or a XV?" "...My rank? its...actually XVI..." "...YEAH RIGHT! I KNOW FOR FACT WE DON'T HAVE, AS MANY MEMBERS, AS THAT! once a XIII...ALWAYS A XIII!" not fooling for Riku's deception, the hooded member takes off his hood and commands the Dusks surrounding him to attack Riku, lastly saying to him before fighting him the words: "Also, just a bit of trivia, all our members have the X in their names! so, TOUGH LUCK! FAKER! seriously, if you wanted to gamble, you should have taken on Luxord! i'd bet he be real pleased to have an opponent like you!" the mysterious blonde haired person summoned a weapon from water that appeared from within the leaked parts of the pipes within the main water supply, it was an musical instrument of sorts, one Riku had never seen before, Riku battled both the Nobodies and the blonde haired man, eventually defeating them both, the blonde haired youth was forced back but not before saying to Riku with his hood still up the words: "Ouu, oww! seriously!? your THIS STRONG!?!? man oh man, for an impostor, you sure are tough, though, i doubt you'll feel that way once i tell the other members of the Organization that there is an impostor amidst our ranks! hope you feel lucky by then! see ya! wouldn't want to be ya!" said the blonde haired man, as he disappeared through what looked like a portal of Darkness, as Riku tried to chase after him but to no avail, Riku then unveiled his Black Coat's hood, saying to himself the words: "...Great, now they know about me, or...at least there's an impostor wearing their coats, maybe...i should have waited for Mickey, if we were together, we could have probably-no! forget it! i don't need his help! i said so and i mean so! let them know that there is an impostor, it doesn't matter, if they come my way, i'll take them down all at once if i have to, now then, let's find that Keyhole..." said Riku boldly, however, failing to notice the Darkness behind both those words and lurking within his shadow, as since arguing with Mickey has Riku been a bit unstable of sorts and is now just going around, destroying all of the both Heartless and Nobodies that he sees, not realizing that he is getting more caught up in their extermination rather then actually looking for the Keyhole, meanwhile, Mickey had arrived at the entrance Riku used to enter the town, intending to find him, wanting to say something of great importance to him... "...My apprentices..." said Egas, weeping in sorrow for the lost of his precious students for even though they had succumbed to Darkness, they were still nevertheless his children to him and Egas then said sadly to Strelitzia the words: "I'm-i'm sorry, Strelitzia, please, i have done my part, i wish-i wish to leave this trial now, i can bare...no longer..." said Egas, trying to hide his tears, Strelitzia understands and asks that her handmaiden escort Egas out of the trial room, Ansem saw Egas leave the room and thought to himself: "...Lord Egas...please...forgive me..." said Ansem, begging in both mind and Heart forgiveness from Egas, for causing the great elder wizard to have come to Ansem's trial and especially reveal in front of everyone, the truth about his apprentices, not even just that but worst of all, apparently having seemingly vanquished them with his Light magic after no longer seeing the Human Hearts they once had within them, all in all, Ansem felt that this was once again his fault, however, remembering Strelitzia's words from before, Ansem decided to not look back at the past and instead focus on both the now and the future, he asked those remaining in power: "Please...now that lord Egas has left the trial, with all humble respects towards Strelitzia, princess Lowia and to all of Hollow Bastion currently present, i like to if possible...continue the trial." said Ansem, shocking everyone, having now regained their senses thanks to Egas lifting the Dark veil that was previously cast around the court room, a humble man then steps up to the judge's seat and speaks to Ansem, saying the words: "...Well, with the royal council and the previous judge gone, not to mention lord Egas having left the trial, i'm afraid that the best we can all do with is a simple person, i'll take up the judge's seat if asked but Ansem, are you...sure that you want to continue the trial? considering all facts, all in all you are-" said the humble man, only to be stopped short by Ansem, saying to the earnest man the words: "...No, i am not, i don't believe that i am, i still haven't received my sentence by Hollow Bastion for the part i played in their losing their loved ones to the previous Heartless incident a year ago, as such, i will pay my toll and accept it gladly, whatever is the decision of Hollow Bastion." said Ansem, willingly accepting whatever penalty is handed out to him, Strelitzia smiles at Ansem, seeing that he has now gained new strength and with it, he will face the future for whatever stands in front of him, as they saw Ansem stand up for himself, the people started to debate among themselves, its true that they still hate Ansem for what part he played in the incident a year ago, however...now freed of the Dark influence that was controlling them and now seeing the bigger picture with cleared vision, their hate no longer fully blinding them, the people talked and they talked until eventually...a decision was reached, a letter was handed to the new judge, of whom became shocked by what the contents had read, he said them out loud for all to hear: "It-it seems that the people have made a verdict and that, you, Ansem, your fate, will be left...entirely in the hands of Strelitzia with the backing of the families of the scientists that were lost a year ago, that is what the people have decided, they have decided to place your fate, within their hands..." said the new judge, Ansem was very shocked to hear this, as he saw the scientist families stand up from their seats among the trial goers and had all said their respective words to him: "...Let Strelitzia decide." "...I don't like you Ansem, but...your not a bad guy." "Your not the one to blame for what happened, you were only doing what you wanted to help in making our community better." "We see that now, Ansem." "However..." "Those council members and the judge used research from your notes to cause this whole mess in the first place." WHY I OUGHTA--!?!?" said Donald angrily, getting his feathers ruffled in a bunch, Goofy stopped him from getting angry towards Noctis who, understanding that he has never seen the likes of both Donald and Goofy himself before, says to the young man: GOOFY: "Aw don't take Donald too seriously, he knows you don't mean anything by it, anyways, nice to meet you Noctis, i'm Goofy! please to meet ya!" said Goofy cheerfully, Noctis replied awkwardly towards Goofy: NOCTIS: "R-right..." said Noctis before thinking to himself inside of his head: NOCTIS: "Great, now a great big huge talking mascot is...uh, well, "talking", to me, seriously...who are these guys?" said Noctis, getting lost in the confusion of everything, Sora brings him back out of it by asking Noctis a question: SORA: "So Noctis, how did you wind up in the Lanes Between? we don't see anyone normally do that...!? wait! could it be, that you had a run in with Organization XIII!?" said Sora, Noctis replied: NOCTIS: "Organization...XIII? what's that? some kind of rock band or something?" said Noctis, Sora was a bit taken aback by Noctis' comment before proceeding to tell Noctis the whole backstory of Organization XIII, the Nobodies, the Heartless and basically Sora's overall adventures across the Worlds with both Donald and Goofy, after hearing their huge tale, Noctis replies: NOCTIS: "W-wow...that's...some huge tale there alright, other Worlds? seriously? i thought that was just a made up fairy tale my dad used to tell me when i was kid, he said that out there, in the cosmos, there were other Worlds and on those other Worlds were there full of different kinds of beings, cultures, you name it, unlike us, that have our culture of the Crystal legend of Lucis, the culture surrounding those other Worlds was that of a legendary untold war, said to be kept secret so that those in pursuit of knowledge would never learn about it, less they were to get power mad, ! wait! i take it? ..." said Noctis, Sora proceeded to sternly summon the Keyblade and reveal that part of the story, as well, upon hearing more of Sora's explanation, Noctis replied by saying: NOCTIS: "...So...basically you guys are trying to recruit more people to your cause in stopping this old loony named Xehanort before he can cause doomsday on your side of the galaxy?" said Noctis, Sora replied: SORA: "...Yeah, that's pretty much it, we need to find VII Guardians of Light and a so called Key to Return Hearts if we want to bring our friends back and stop Xehanort before he can make all of us out here and there sad." said Sora, looking down towards the ground in depression, as Donald and Goofy place their hands on his shoulders, feeling the depth and weight of how Sora feels about everything...Noctis upon seeing Sora's expression also looks down towards the ground in depression, clutching a fist and saying to the three of them: NOCTIS: "...Wanting, to help your friends, huh? that's...exactly how i feel..." said Noctis, recalling visual images of the last times he saw his closest friends: Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus, the last time Noctis saw them were they all fighting for his sake so that he could obtain the Crystal so that in turn he could help them for their sake, Noctis, feeling that he and Sora relate to one another almost says to the fellow young man the words: NOCTIS: "...Hey, don't worry kid, if anyone can save everyone, i believe that YOU can, Sora, trust me, you seem like the dependable guy of sorts that will never let anybody down, if you ever need help on your quest, i'm here to help, you have the royal blade of Lucis on your side, Sora..." upon hearing Noctis' words, Sora is surprised but then shows his iconic smile towards Noctis and shakes his hand, saying to him lastly the words: SORA: "...Heh, thanks, Noctis...hey! wait a minute! what do you mean "dependable guy of sorts"!? ...! wait, did you just say "royal blade of Lucis"? ...huh? oh man, i feel like my head is going to explode..." said Sora, comically getting dizzy all of a sudden, as Noctis lastly says towards Sora the words: NOCTIS: "...Uh, hey, are you...alright? it looks like you got brain freeze or something." said Noctis, noting Sora's unique character, namely his..."certain perchance" to keep up with everything, as both Donald and Goofy merely laughed at Sora and even Noctis, noticing that the two are kind of similar. Having never flown by Gummi Ship before, Riku marvels at the outside scenery that is the universe, Mickey tells Riku that for a while now, over the years, this has been the way to transport between Worlds, Mickey explains to Riku about how the Gummi Ship travel exploration worked during the events of the Heartless invasion, he reveals that because the Heartless broke down the walls between all of the Worlds, the Heartless were able to enter the Worlds through the Keyholes that lead to their Hearts and upon consuming those Worlds' Hearts did they fall into Darkness and all become parts of the World in which the Door to Darkness had manifested, now that the door has been sealed and the Worlds restored, slowly but surely, the walls are restoring themselves, as well, meaning that Mickey and Riku must act now while they still have a chance before the wall blocking entry both to and from Hollow Bastion completely mends itself, after that, upon arriving at Hollow Bastion, they must find a special type of Keyhole that will open the Lanes Between, Riku asks about what are the Lanes Between and Mickey replies that they are the original and only means for Keyblade wielders to travel to other Worlds and in secret mend the problems of those Worlds that only Keyblade wielders can, although Riku ponders about asking Mickey what exactly ARE Keyblade wielders and what are their duties to uphold, Riku decides to withhold the question, deciding to ask Mickey about it for another time for there were more important matters to take care of, for example, the World that Riku laid eyes on from the Gummi Ship once more yet again and that he thought that he would never, ever return to it...the World...of Hollow Bastion. Riku feels his Heart starting to ache a little again, Mickey notices this and checks up on him, asking him if he is alright, Riku assures his friend, saying that he is merely remembering old and painful Memories...as Mickey realizes Riku's connection to Hollow Bastion, he then bumps his hand upon the palm of his other hand after getting an idea, saying to Riku: "Welp! if this is where bad Memories were forged then it is also where good Memories will be forged! think of it like this Riku, this is your new starting point, its only natural that it should be, "from Light into Darkness" and now, the opposite, "from Darkness into Light", know what i mean?" Mickey giggled a little after saying his message, as Riku was then surprised by what Mickey meant, he was grateful for those words for it was thanks to those words that Riku will now push on to Hollow Bastion, walking from the Darkness of the past and into the Dawn that is both the present and the nearby future and with that, the S.S Minnie proceeds to find a safe-spot to land on the World, as Riku and Mickey readying themselves for Hollow Bastion... World I-HOLLOW BASTION. Riku and Mickey land at the Dark Depths of the Great Maw just outside of Hollow Bastion, the two take a look around, as they have never seen this part of the World, only the main castle and its insides, as the two look around, Mickey catches Riku's attention by both pointing towards and warning him about something, as they looked down below, Riku was...absolutely horrified at what he was seeing...it was a gigantic army full of Heartless all mashing up on-top of one another, upon seeing the Heartless, Riku instantly wanted to destroy them but Mickey prevented him from doing so, telling Riku that now was not the time to deal with that many of Heartless all at once, plus, Riku is not strong enough yet to hold his own against that many, Mickey promises that they will come back soon and deal with this Heartless problem, for the sake of Hollow Bastion, Riku begrudgingly agrees to this and then nods his head in angry silence, as Mickey then sternly nods his head and the two head off for the entrance towards the Great Maw, as Riku stops for a moment to turn and look around at the giant amount of Heartless, suddenly, upon staring into all of their bright yellow eyes, Riku found himself surrounded by a sheet of Darkness, disconnected from the outside World, as he calls out Mickey by his title, it is then, within this very same Darkness that one of the two Ansem look a likes that Riku met previously, the one other then Jet calling himself Pitch had appeared, he was more muscular and muscular then Jet who was more scrawny and skinny and unlike Jet who had his hair tied in a ponytail, Pitch had dreadlocks for his hair, he is seen crossing his arms and mocking Riku, saying the words: "Hey there man, what are you cooking in the Darkness?" said Pitch with a Jamaican like accent, as Riku upon seeing Pitch jumped back away in the Darkness and proceeded to summon the Soul Eater, asking Pitch a question: "...Are you, here to avenge your comrade? if so-..." said Riku, Pitch replied: "No man, i'm not here for anything like that, besides, if you think that was the end of Jet previously then you are surely mistaken, Jet will be back, stronger too by that time, he just needs a little snooze nap for the time being, in his place, i'll face and test you." said Pitch, explaining that Jet was still alive and that Pitch has come to test Riku, Riku replies: "Test me? for what!?" said Riku, Pitch himself then replied with the words: "Calm down brother, its cool, its fine, unlike my little brother Jet, i'm not going to fight you, instead, i want to know something..." said Pitch, Riku, upon sensing that Pitch's words were true slightly laid down his defensive guard and had said to Pitch: "...Alright, speak!" said Riku, Pitch smirked at this and had asked Riku a question, one of great importance: "Tell me something Riku, what is...your TRUE power? what is the nature of it? what is the source of it?" said Pitch, Riku laughed mockingly and replied towards Pitch: "What? are you joking? of course i know what my true power is, its Dark-HAH!?!?" just then, Riku stopped himself from finishing his sentence, realizing what he was about to say, Pitch laughs out loud at this before catching his breath and saying to Riku: "You see? THAT's the answer there that i was looking for! although you don't admit it outright, in your Heart you do, in your Heart, the true source of your strength is Darkness, right!? true, you accepted the Dark twice in a row now, first, when that fake Sora tried to destroy you and second, when you sealed away Ansem inside the inner Dark parts of your Heart, however, despite having acknowledged Darkness, you became blissfully unaware of something brother...upon acknowledging it, ever since then, you have been wrapping yourself entirely both in it and around it brother, making you 10x times, as strong but all the more weaker to Light, don't you see? two things are going to happen later on that you are especially not going to like, one, your Dark power will end up hurting somebody that has nothing to do at all whatsoever with what's going on and secondly, once more, you'll be enveloped by Light, only this time, it won't be a rotten phony conjured up by Darkness like it was by that Husk of a Nobody...no...this time around, you'll be enveloped in a column of brightest Light imaginable and then, well...THEN we'll see how Light resistant you are, until these destined events come to pass, you won't be seeing me, that is all i have to say for now, thank you for giving me a good answer, ciao till later man!" "Ah! WAIT!" shouted out Riku, as he saw Pitch fade into the Darkness and had tried to attack him, only to no avail, Pitch had completely disappeared leaving Riku to ponder, as the sheet of Darkness slowly faded away back into the real World: "...Me? living in Darkness after now having accepted it willingly? and the Light? it will...destroy me? sigh...no, i've got to believe, like Sora does, in the Light, it won't destroy me, it will guide me, guide me back to the real source of my strength, my strength may be Darkness for now but, as long, as i walk the Road to Dawn, at the end of the road, the answer will be clear and i will know what my true powers are, Sora, Kairi, Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, Mickey, Hayner, Pence and...Olette...you all, you are all waiting for me at the end of the road, you guys, are the true sources of my inner strengths! that is why i walk the Road to Dawn, to redeem myself for all the things that i have done and to hopefully-no, EVENTUALLY learn to live in the Light once more! i want...to go home, go back home with Sora and live in the Light, that...is our islands, once...more..." said Riku placing his hand upon his Heart, as he then followed Mickey after time had frozen when Riku was contacted by Pitch within the Darkness with Riku speeding up a bit, Mickey now following behind surprised and wondering why, as he quickly made up pace following after Riku. The two eventually made it to the center of the Great Maw but it was then, here, inside of Riku's mind that he heard Ansem within a facsimile of the Destiny Islands, here, Riku found himself in his old clothes, standing and looking out towards the blue sea, only to sense and then turn around and see Sora, Donald and Goofy approaching him, Riku is happy to see Sora but then notices that he and the other two are on their guard around Riku for some reason, Riku asks Sora why is he being defensive before then hearing Ansem speaking within the air, saying the following words: "Take a look at this tiny place. to the Heart seeking freedom, this island...is a prison." Riku had heard this and tried to speak out in disapproval of Ansem's words, only for the Seeker of Darkness to continue speaking: "Surrounded by water and so this boy...sought out to escape from his prison." Riku's head was hurting and he was especially trying to shake away all the thoughts and doubts that were plaguing at him, suddenly, he found himself in his Dark Mode outfit! the sea water turned purple and Sora brandished the Keyblade against him, Riku tries to say no to Sora but Ansem's words still kept going on: "He sought a way to cross over into other Worlds..." "NO! DON'T SAY IT!" "...And he..." "No! ..." "Opened..." "No!" "His Heart..." "NO!!!!" "...To Darkness." said Ansem finally, Riku was driven on the ground suffering what looked like a seizure, all of the words were plaguing at him at once until eventually, he looked up to see Sora standing over him, the sun behind Sora above blinding Riku's eyesight, as then, without warning and hesitation, Sora swung the Keyblade down below towards Riku, as he lastly screamed out the word: "NNNNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!" shouted out Riku inside his mind, back in reality, Riku's mind suffered a slight mental attack and he fell towards the ground, Mickey notices this and immediately goes to Riku's side, asking him: "Riku? RIKU!? ARE YOU ALRIGHT!?!? SAY SOMETHING!" "...Mickey...your...here? was that...a dream? a nightmare? or...something else..." "Riku..." said Mickey in concern, Riku struggled to get back upwards before saying to his small Mouse friend: "...Come on, let's keep pushing..." said Riku, he continued on ahead but Mickey, having now seen Riku struggle time and time again, had decided finally that enough was enough and that he was going to confront his friend both once and for all about what was truly bothering him... The two decide to camp out with a fire at the Crystal Fissure, as it had already turned nighttime and it would be better reaching the city by tomorrow, they used the warm and bright glow of the Crystals, as nightlights, as they ended up star gazing towards the stars, Mickey was then prepared, prepared to stake his friendship with Riku, if it meant in the very end helping him, he then proceeded lastly to question him... Thanks, the royal council and the judge aren't major characters but they do shape Ansem's fate of what happens afterwards, here's how that happens: "...My apprentices...even though, they refused to yield to the power of Darkness...they were nevertheless giving into it and they were spawning THOSE things!!!! ..." said Egas, as Ansem looked on at the shadows of both the royal council and the judge, looking deeply into the shadows' bright yellow eyes and had said to himself the words: "...Darkness...the essence of Darkness within a Human Heart...they...are no longer Human, they are..."Heartless"." said Ansem, acknowledging what he sees in front of him and despite seeing the pain on Egas' face and empathizing with him very greatly about the whole ordeal going in front of both them and everyone else, it cannot be denied...the council and the judge, were no longer Human, although they had the apprentices of Humans still, in all truths, they were not Human and had only looked Human on the outside...their inside selves, in other-words, their shadows were telling every bit, as much, of the truth that there was to tell, the council and the judges...were now Heartless, beings without Hearts, this made the great and wise sage Egas' Heart feel pain and torment beyond all kinds of suffering, for his dear beloved students had succumbed to Darkness without both himself and especially themselves knowing, the shadows of their Hearts' greed had taken physical form and had transformed them into monsters belonging to the Dark side of Hollow Bastion, Strelitzia had comforted Egas, trying to ease the wounds of his Heart if only a little... Just then, very shockingly, the Human forms of the council, followed by the judge had then completed vanished into Darkness and appearing within their exact places were the shadows that were both behind and above just mere seconds ago, somehow, they break free of Egas' Light magic, taking advantage of both his old age and especially his broken Heart and then suddenly, the whole trial room began to roar out in frenzy of fear at seeing the shadows that appeared before them, everyone was trying to run away, pushing and shoving past one another, as Egas weakly said to them after regaining composure upon his magic having been dispelled the words: "No! don't give into the Darkness of your Hearts! that will feed the shadows! don't-GAH!" said Egas before he was then attacked by the shadow of the Heartless judge, causing Strelitzia to be knocked back and Ansem, despite still being chained by both his hands and neck had managed to catch Strelitzia, safely covering her fall and protecting both her and especially Lowia still being carried by Strelitzia within her arms, as the baby started crying out at all that was happening, as Egas was knocked down and everyone else was panicking, Ansem tried to figure out what to do in order to help everyone, to him, it was just like an exact re-occurrence of that day a year ago when everything fell completely both in disaster and especially despair, the Heartless had attacked, stealing the lives of many and now the lives of those that he cared about especially were in danger, just like Strelitzia who was the one crying at the previous incident, it was now her daughter Lowia who was crying, still sleeping despite everything going on around her, to Ansem, he saw that it was a nightmare that both Lowia and including all of the other children that were attending the trial could not awake from, absolutely refusing to put their lives above all others' in danger, Ansem tried to break free from the shackles binding his wrists and his neck, refusing to let everyone in all of Hollow Bastion suffer at the hands of the Heartless once more, unfortunately, he did not have the physical strength needed to break free but still, nevertheless, he refused to give up, for the sake of everyone, for the sake of those that he cared for and especially for the sake of all the children whose lives were in danger, Ansem refused to let his bindings keep him from fighting the Heartless and it was just then, that suddenly, Ansem found himself falling into Darkness, Darkness everlasting below awaiting him, it was an abyss of the most blackest and eternal Darkness that there ever was and to ever exist in the very 1st place, Ansem had dived into the inner sections of his Heart, a "Dive to the Heart", as it were... Here, the bindings magically faded away into Light and Ansem slowly and carefully landed upon a circular platform, it had showed a picture, a picture of himself sleeping, holding a book within his hands, next to him were circles that contained facial pictures of those Ansem deeply held within his Heart, they were facial pictures of Strelitzia, Klein, his father king Caim and both Strelitzia and Klein's daughter Lowia, like Ansem, she too was sleeping, surrounding the whole platform were circle images of a symbol of a Heart that was used, as the main insignia of Hollow Bastion to represent both the kingdom and its people and upon further inspection at the platform's overall giant picture, below the four circle facial images was there an image of Hollow Bastion, the city itself, resembling a both steam-punk and diesel-punk design. The real Ansem had awakened his eyes and had saw below the giant platform, before he could make any sense of what was going on all around him, it was then that an elderly old man had appeared before him from behind, Ansem looked around a bit before suddenly realizing that there was someone standing straight behind him and upon realizing did he immediately take a few steps backing away from the old stranger, of whom merely smirked slightly at Ansem's predicament, the old hermit like figure started flexing his fingers, asking Ansem the words: "Do you want power? if so, claim that power in front of you with your very own eyes! seek it! obtain it! make that power yours! only you have the power to claim the power that is rightfully yours...only a fool would not be wise enough to seek power to protect others, would he not? come, open your Heart, reach out your hand and seek it, seek your power...with your Heart..." said the old man, Ansem didn't know what to make of everything, only that back in the real World, everyone was suffering and in order to help everyone, Ansem would do whatever it took to save them, he reached out his hand towards the old man and suddenly, back in real life, Ansem found himself freed from his shackles and within his hand was a both strange and mysterious Key shaped weapon resembling both a goat and a clock, using this new kind of weapon and abandoning all curiosity about it for the moment, Ansem used this weapon, as though it was a whip and had destroyed the Heartless judge that had attacked Egas, afterwards, the weapon regained its normal shape and form and seeing the remaining Heartless, Ansem jumped up above in the air twice and had cast a blizzard spell upon two of the Heartless, freezing them and instantaneously destroying them, he then shot multiple magical like energy blasts from the tip of the weapon's blade and had destroyed two more Heartless, leaving only one remaining, for the final one, Ansem created afterimages of himself and using those afterimages with the real him included among them, did they all attack and destroy the last remaining Heartless, saving everyone, all six Heartless had been destroyed and the key shaped weapon within Ansem's hands had suddenly disappeared, it was then that Ansem had noticed that time was frozen all around him and just before he could make a reaction, it was then that a silver haired youth appeared in front of Ansem, saying to him the words: "...Your path...it has, begun: Darkness in Zero." said the silver haired youth, Ansem's golden eyes had then lit up and had caused him slight pain before then seeing where the youth once stood a demonic looking clock, on the clock the hands had started to move and, as the clock sped up, time was moving back to its proper place, just before the Heartless were vanquished, it was at the moment the Heartless had started attacking, however, since because Ansem has erased the Heartless from existence, they would no longer appear in that reality and instead, reality would be slightly altered, also, Ansem, as the clock was just about to return reality back to everything the way it was before, a voice lastly spoke in his mind, saying to him: "...You will forget everything that just happened, you will embark on a new path now, upon that path's end, we shall see, whether or not...you...are worthy..." said the voice, Ansem was then returned to the moment back to just about when the Heartless started attacking with himself back in bindings on both his wrists and neck, Ansem could remember naught a thing, no matter how much he tried, the Heartless had seemingly vanished from everyone's sight, vanquished thanks to the efforts of lord Egas, Egas, as he regained his moment in time was very shocked by the disappearances of his Heartless apprentices, saying to himself: "W-WHAT!?!? what, has just happened!? where...WHERE DID THEY GO!?!?" said Egas loudly to himself but not enough for everyone to hear, as they were cheering him on, believing that he had seemingly destroyed his apprentices, Strelitzia placed a hand on Egas' shoulder, saying to him: "...Lord Egas? what's-what's wrong?" said Strelitzia, concerned for Egas, as he merely replied: "...No, nothing...is wrong Strelitzia, nothing at all..." said Egas, although Strelitzia was unconvinced, Ansem, looking around at everyone cheering started saying to himself lastly the words: "...Darkness...in, Zero?" said Ansem, unsure of what those words meant although he remembers that he has used them before, the question is why now has he mentioned them all of a sudden again? to Ansem and also to everyone else, everything, was a blank, a white blank, entirely...as though, there was "Nobody" to remember anything at all whatsoever, only that the truth...was now "Lost" in "Memory", in other-words: "Lost Memories", of Darkness.
