    RANT: Is the details of the story and the characters of the story more important than the length of the story? Or is the length of it all that matters? Like seriously I need to know an answer because some people hate roleplayers who do not post long post. But these roleplayers who do not post long post make great stories and great characters. I don

    I don't roleplay but if I did, I'd honestly favor longer posts. To me, longer posts have more meat on them. It feels like there was more effort involved. Of course, there's also something to be said for quality over quantity. A succinct, 150 word post will be better than a 700-word rambling post. But it's possible to have a 700 word that's very good. If you're only posting something TWO SENTENCES LONG then those sentences better be damn good.

    And I'm going to have to agree with Dracozombie here. I mean, I TRY to have longish posts... but if I make it short, it's usually because I can't say/do much else.
