  1. Finally found a game that runs perfectly on max settings on my laptop. That's right, Halo Combat Evolved.
  2. "You've got yourself a deal," Shirai said with a grin. Damn, with the two of them, they'd make short work of the low-level mobs. That's twice the amount of mob killing, which means twice the usual Col. Shirai was starting to like this deal, since all he had to do was keep an eye on any drops and hand them off to this guy...so as long as he doesn't get anything rare, like a sword or something. That...he might keep for himself. "So, when shall we embark?"
  3. I suppose it's the new big thing, since I guess he was implying that Persona was one of the greatest games (which it is, at least P4G.)
  4. It all depends on the demo code. If you don't have the demo code, then I don't know if you'll be able to access the survey.
  5. Oh, I know what a Mary Sue is. I need to find these places where I can just make fun of the ones I've seen.
  6. Anybody else ever encountered people with OCs so ridiculously perfect, so over powered, that you just can't even begin with them?
  7. Lloyd Irving (of Tales of Symphonia fame). He appeared just once on the Gamecube, but so did Snake, so I hope that he's just as possible.
  8. Every weak spot! Every critical area! Aro shouted in her mind as fired off a complete array of attacks. Alyssa was no doubt tearing this behemoth in two. Hell, she could likely do it all on her own. But Aro was in no mood to feel useless, or even appear to be by standing around and letting an ally take down this...thing. Each blast hit its mark; piercing the behemoth's weak points and tearing down its formidable defense. "We're so close!" Aro hissed, witnessing Alyssa's devastating slice. This monster was no doubt destroyed, but with how it shared kinship to the undead, Aro wasn't leaving any room for this behemoth to live. As Alyssa dived down, Aro dove to the side and took the behemoth from another angle. With its side open, Aro prepared another beam in her left hand. She ran for the behemoth, her beam gaining traction and energy, before reaching the monster's side and lashing out with a long swipe. Instead of a bullet-like beam, Aro's swipe covered a wide area, and like a sword, cleanly cut the behemoth in a diagonal direction.
  9. Veran rolled his eyes. As a demon, death and the morbid things associated with it was nothing but a common occurrence. Seeing humans so infatuated with the idea thoroughly annoyed him. Couldn't they take up more...pleasant hobbies? Like basket weaving? "We are here for a very specific purpose, none that someone such as yourself would expect. I need a record. Of all those recently deceased. Do not ask questions, or tell anyone. We'll pay you handsomely enough."
  10. *Covertly hands Xion cookies*
  11. His body isn't ready enough
  12. it comes out in like ten days
  13. "What sort of ingredients?" Shirai asked. He had to know what to look for. He gauged Ryonne up, trying to detail exactly what Ryonne's apparent profession was. With the limited skill slots players had, few bothered to do any hobby or profession-type skills into their list. Most just fell back onto full combat mode. "Metals? Foodstuffs? Or just grab anything I see?" Shirai himself was fairly interested in the prospect of Col. It was hard to come by so early on in the game, so the more cash he was given, the better. If it was worth finding some random mushrooms, he'd do it.
  14. I'mma bout to go Night Raid on you
  15. I plan to, along with Fire Emblem.
  16. *Offers cookies*
  17. Shirai glanced up. He had expected his rock to keep clattering about. Not for it to clack against someone's boot. "Don't worry," He said to the clearly annoyed player, "With the Anti-Crime Area, nobody's gonna hurt me." The Anti-Crime area was something Shirai was sure to use as much to his own benefit. So as long as he was within a 'Save Haven', he couldn't be harmed by another player. Worst you would get was a slight buzzing and knockback. Nothing would harm you here....lest you decided to venture out, and a pissed off player followed suit. "And what's got you so on edge?"
  18. Veran raised a brow, "My demonic powers only extend so far. Data collection and reconnaissance? That will require....far more manual work. I will certainly need time to do that request of yours, my lady," He said to her, directly, as he saw the task set upon him a bit more lucrative than others. It was a simple task to spy or kill. But a detailed record of all those recently deceased? He'd need a few hours at most.
  19. (Edited, slightly. Apologies myself for not reading thoroughly.)
  20. Ah I still need to get that
  21. (I've been reading the Progressive novel, so I've got the whole early plot down.) Shirai kicked a stone down the path he was heading. He didn't have anywhere particular to go. The basic sword clapped against his back as he marveled at the stone that was sent skittering across the stone blocks. To think a game could so easily simulate physics like that. The rock did seems slightly bouncier than real ones would, but it was damn close. "It truly is another world," He said to himself, grinning and glancing up to the sky. He had a flashback, with how this all came to be. How the Log OUt button disappeared.... Death was the game now. One slip up and that was it. One stir-fried brain for you. "Whelp...I probably should head off to the field soon.."
  22. I hate you You beat me to the punch why
