    So.. I want to connect to the internet on my SoulSilver, but everytime I do, it gets really confusing.. anyone want to help me?

    The Wi-Fi settings for the early Pokemon DS games are old and out-dated.

    Yeah, it's old. Black and White fixed the issue, you'd need some device to connect SoulSilver to the Internet.

    You know what doesn't make sense? In Pokemon, they have scientific medicine called Potions that heal your Pokemon (20HP) but yet you can give them Fresh Water, and they revive 50HP...
