  1. It didn't really need to be established, it was just accepted as common knowledge, Roxas and also Namine excluded because even in that time frame, they were being treated as special cases. It's an old joke. Apparently, some people thought that Tidus was going to be playable in KH2 upon their initial reactions to seeing the Simulated Twilight Town footage.
  2. Uh... so is there one or not? You kinda left it vague.
  3. So in this alternate storyline, how does Roxas looking nothing like Sora work? There'd be no Ventus, so you'd have to explain that in some other way. And don't say Tidus.
  4. Yessie brought up a good point. There is a junior division that goes along with these tournaments (or at least the more recent ones) so that should be addressed at some point.
  5. Boruto smirked. "Right back atcha. The great Master Boruto won't lose to anybody, not even you!"
  6. Every other day, I get a new favorite for my dumb birthday fanfic I wrote and it makes me miss writing for fun consistently.
  7. It IS setting up for a big battle but there's other stuff that has to be done first. You're not just watching a random training arc, this is integral to the main character's abilities AND his overall state of being, and it's been set-up since pretty much the beginning of the series. Plus, if you've been paying attention, there were reasons as to why this was happening in the first place.
  8. Well even then, I don't know what the Hell you're on about because according to that, you just sat through one of the most emotional parts of the whole series. What, are you allergic to feelz?
  9. I've seen worse solutions.
  10. It's supposed to be a final romp with the cast of characters we've grown up with as we prepare for an event that not only signifies the main character's full transition into adulthood but also the end of the entire Naruto anime franchise sans Boruto. You can't rush that in one episode dude. Besides, that was how it was done in the light novel, so that's how it's going to be done in the anime.
  11. Well, Shippuden's four hundredth and ninety ninth episode dropped, and that means we are, in fact, one episode away from the finale of Shippuden and by extension, the finale episode of the continuing Naruto anime franchise. Boruto not included, that's a different thread. Just to give you a sense of how massive this show has become, here's how much Naruto has been on TV since its inception: The first episode of the original Naruto anime aired on October 3, 2002 and ran until February 8, 2007 with a total of 220 episodes. One week later on February 15, 2007, in typical long-running anime fashion, the first episode of its sequel, Naruto Shippuden, aired and with the 500th episode coming up, the entire Naruto anime franchise will have consisted of 720 anime episodes and will have been airing semi-consistently for a grant total of 15 years. What I'm trying to say is that I feel really old, guys . No but really: even though the original manga has been over for at least three years now, the anime has been our one source of keeping the brand alive, per se. Again, I don't include Boruto because in a way, it's a whole different realm entirely. That's why I'm both happy and sad for the finale of Shippuden. Anybody who's followed anything for a really long time, especially since they were a kid, knows what it's like to finally see that thing come to an end, and for me, and I'm sure a lot of you people too, Naruto is one of them. It's a feeling of letting go but also of cherishing the moments and experiences you've felt along the way. To think, all the way back in 2002, we were introduced to Naruto (well not "we" necessarily, but we as in kids in Japan who watched the anime and/or didn't read the manga) as a misfit little kid with a demon sealed inside of him with a ton of emotional baggage, and now after seeing him blossom into maturity over the years as both a teenager and now a grown man, we're going to experience him at the peak of his adult years with happiness and growth and marrying his soulmate. That's deep stuff right there. I've had a good time with Naruto and I look forward to what his little kid shows us in his own show.
  12. I'm watching the same show as you and I think you really don't get what's going on.
  13. I played a lot of Battlefront and Battlefront 2 as a kid. Both were great space battle simulators, and even great on-foot battle simulators too (although I think almost every time I tried using a spaceship, I'd crash because I sucked at using the driving controls ). I'd include the new Battlefront in there too but... you know. Destroy All Humans! is more of an "alien invaders" type franchise, but it sort of counts, and I played both that and DAH2 a lot as a kid too.
  14. Ventus is havin' a bad day. *sad trumpet*
  15. So a while back, there was a trailer for the Boruto anime... but I forgot to post it. It was basically just footage taken from Naruto, Shippuden and Boruto the Movie and announced that there will, in fact, be a Boruto anime starting in April... so yeah, not really a huge loss. However: a new trailer released some time ago and it actually does show footage from the upcoming anime: I also found a (reliable) translation of a scan from Shonen Jump from this article from Spiraling Sphere that showed off character designs for Team Konohamaru and a summary/preview for the very first episode of the Boruto anime. || WARNING: The following content is considered spoilers and will be treated as such. 16. Boruto overheard Goten. "Wait what? What do you mean 'younger kids'? Do people not let kids fight in tournaments with grown ups in this world? If so, then that's pretty lame..." He sulked.
  17. Firaga replied to Solstice's profile comment
    No prob.
  18. I think I mentioned that one of my initial choices for sign-ups was Arale but then doubled back on it because I realized she'd be ridiculously overpowered compared to everybody else. I think Korosensei was also one of my choices and he's kinda a gag character too. Still overpowered though.
  19. "Same here! It looks like a ton of fun! Maybe you and I will finally get a chance to square off too!" Boruto said. "A tournament? Huh. They probably let me enter since I only have my sword and my flames..." Rin mused. "Sounds pretty super, but getting that crystal is top priority," Franky said, then turned to Luffy. "Still: I already know you're lookin' to enter 'n win. Am I right, Captain?"
  20. Oh yeah and Rayman: Ravin' Rabbids was also technically my first Rayman game so take that for what you will.
  21. Rabbids Go Home wasn't really a bad game technical wise, it's just that it has the same "charm" as the other Rabbids game in that it's god damn LOUD and ANNOYING mixed in with a truckload of "WTF".
  22. @Sonic: I don't know dude, I was like 12, I didn't know any better.
  23. @Kenpachi: Sort of. The last couple games were mobile only and there's a TV show that's still going I think plus a movie in development so the brand is still active. I wouldn't be surprised if Ubisoft announced a title for the Switch though.
  24. I still can't believe I actually had the time and patience to play through and beat Rabbids Go Home.
