When you put it that way, it sounds like my initial statement was completely ludicrous and devoid of logic.

The people who know how to drive adhere to too many rules on the road and worry about too many things (like speed limits, lanes, not hitting pedestrians, etc), while the person who doesn't know how to drive will be able to steer the car using common sense and do what FEELS right.

I see nothing flawed nor dangerous about this logic.

I'm tired of cars being driven by people who have spent their lives driving. Let's give the keys to someone who doesn't know how to drive, because that ignorance makes them more trustworthy.
