  1. LMFAOIt's very amusing that you actually thought of this all on your own without any knowledge of what we had already done. Derik doesn't count anymore, what then?
  2. Ryonne -- Messiah The Swordsman nodded curtly to Eclaire. "If that's all, then I must be off." He said, then stood up. He grabbed his blade, and moved to the doorway, ready to get things started. It was time for things to really get done. But... He had to say something. He glanced over his shoulder, directly at Fiora and Eclaire. "But I must ask again. We should execute the mute. Gabriel Stross was the engineering powerhouse of the Empire, without him, thousands of people would still be alive. Without him, we would have had an easier time every step of the way. And still, his inventions continue to hinder our efforts. And he did it all completely willingly, earning the complete trust of Korben, unlike say, Verstand, who according to records, repeatedly committed treason, and at multiple opportunities expressed extreme displeasure for doing his work. That is a man I can trust. But not Gabriel. And most importantly," Ryonne said, his voice clear, and direct. He did not speak up often, especially not in disagreement with the Commander. But he had a reason. "He killed our mutual friend Viridem. Brutally." Ryonne was gone in a flash, the wind from his speed blowing slightly. He lowered his goggles over his eyes. He gritted his teeth, double checked he was properly strapped in and all his gauges, then flashed a thumbs up to the flight operator. Of course, the flight operator was also the janitor of this half of the ship, and one of the cooks. When it was said that they were undermanned, it was no exaggeration. The hangar door opened, and Ryonne hit the engines. His vehicle roared out of the hangar. It was an odd thing, unique for certain. A sleek and shiny jet propelled motorcycle by all appearances, as soon as he hit open air, wings extended from his speeder. He glided down from the Oathkeeper, eventually touching down on the ground once more. The wings folded back up as he did a doughnut in the dirt for style. He set his GPS for his destination, then set off, roaring across the continent. Vortludo -- Seraphim Order Vortludo pretended not to hear Ava. He did indeed wish to speak more on this subject matter, but now was not the time. This was a moment of triumph. The men who had been stuck at base would cheer to see their return now. Hushed whispers and secrets did not raise morale. "Yev!" Vortludo cried jovially. "It is good to be back. I have missed my home." He clasped Yev's hand, and shook vigorously, before letting him loose. "The people of Rhasolvich will cheer our names for decades to come after the work we have done there. And it warms my heart to think of it. They have their homes, their businesses back. Life will return to what it once was. And it will only improve from there, after we have done away with the Demon King's reign. And I must say, a feast sounds absolutely fantastic." As Kaspar descended from the ramp, Vortludo nodded. "Oh yes, I almost forgot. Yevgeni, this is Master Kaspar. He is a mage unlike any other that I have ever seen. I know that you have looked into increasing your power, and since we do not have any powerful mages about, I took it upon myself to find you one." Vortludo let go of Ava for a moment to move closer to Yev. He whispered into his ear. "I know he seems malevolent by aura. However I must remind you, magic is but a tool. No more evil than a blade." Vortludo moved past Yev, then beckoned for Ava to come back to him. "My dear, you must be exhausted, no? How about we spend some time recovering before the feast. We have been without the luxuries of our own home for a while." Cobica -- Seraphim Order "Please, I've made it eight seconds on the Bull of Lucifer. No plane is going to make me lose my lunch Your Grace." Cobica called up to the cabin on launch. As the flight settled in for a bit, and his "host" closed off the doorway so that he couldn't mock him for fun, Cobica turned to the rest of the plane. He got up and wandered about a bit, glancing from thing to thing. It was a luxury private plane, one that must have cost millions. Everything was pristine... Just being in it made Cobica want to destroy everything. As the plane descended into the water, Cobica raised his eyebrows in surprise, but no more. "Ooh, so your plane is more than a one trick pony. Speaking of ponies, how does your stupid horse do this? Turn into a fish? Wait, there's a better joke in there. A seahorse?" Cobica continued to mock loudly. Neena -- Tanzynite Crusade She ate a bite of her food, watching but not really paying attention to the TV. Neena swallowed. "Henry," She said, her voice lacking the aggressive tone it usually took. "Why do people do bad things? We could all lead happy enough lives without any need for evil deeds." The Assassin asked, posing the question to her partner abruptly and without warning.
  3. I'd disagree. Perhaps it's just me and my habitual reading disorder, but I read every post, and enjoy... most of them. It's easy to see all of the characters for who they are, and watching the events that happen to them is a lot of fun. But perhaps that's just me. GoT is sooo good. My most recent obsession, I think it'll stick in my brain for a while. And I don't think that closing sign-ups is a good idea, at least not at this moment. There's still lots of time for the story to unfold, and to limit the options for characters now would hinder more than help. And once again, if you put a little bit of time into it, it is not difficult to keep track of things. At least, not yet. You always ask the best questions Neena- Straight from my brain. You can actually blame riku for the concept of her, since I created her for one of his games. It was long ago, a Keyblade War RP that had a faction called the Decolor that hated keyblades. I thought the idea was cool, and seeing that there were so few people in the faction (I believe there was one inactive member at the time of my joining) I went for it. Since then... She's certainly grown. Heck, originally she had only dark powers, but in that game she gained light, which is now a staple of her. So, if you ever find yourself hating Neena for some reason (not the least of which being she murdered your character) blame rikunobody lol Ryonne- Despite his FE appearance, the character itself is straight from my head. When the time came to find an appearance, I spent several minutes on Google Image search "anime swordsman" before thinking about some swordsman in media that I'd looked into. Lon'Qu immediately came to mind(cuz he's Lon'Qu) and then Ryonne was Lon'Qu. Cyler- Previously discussed. Pretty much a carbon copy of Sylar from Heroes, though I've done my best to change him where I can without losing his essence. Specifically things like his oath-keeping code and fear of death I'm pretty sure are unique (but I can no longer remember lol) The Crow's Eyes- Basically expy characters of the six main characters from Leigh Bardugo's book Six of Crows. Not much difference between the two. Vortludo- Once again, despite a Fire Emblem appearance, from my mind. I suppose I was technically inspired by D&D due to the podcast The Adventure Zone. I liked the idea of having someone not be particularly good at magic, or even fantastic at fighting, but just having a metric ton of magical items at their disposal. Almost like Batman's utility belt, but with magic. His personality has changed from the dickish it was into the compassionate noble you see now simply because the game ended up needing more diverse characters. Dickish was in high supply, but actually good people were not as abundant. Kinzoku- A character ported from a previous game (Evraius by MDSVeritas, easily my favorite RP ever), there she came right from my brain. I wanted a character that was simple enough to trust, but also be capable of evil evil things, since she was a traitor in that game. So I made a very simplistic happy-go-lucky type, though in that game she was far more perfect than she is here, complete with kindness and goodwill. She also had a "curse" on her that made her lose control every once in a while and do something wrong, which was actually a lie by her in order to sabotage the groups. Because traitor. Here she's a bit different just to be a bit more realistic, but I wanted to keep the same kind of mysticism. The Doctor- A character inspired by The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey. I used him originally in the same game as Kinzoku, and since then he's become like Cyler: Heavily based off of an existing character, but with Yuffie corruption all over him. Cobica- Appearance and partially personality and power wise Dante from the DmC reboot. It only made sense considering his brother was Vergil... He also was partially taken from a previous incarnation of a demonic character, also named Cobica, but that relation is far less impactful than Dante's. And now it's really late Should I post yes but will I I'll try.
  4. Deaths are only good when they improve the quality of the story. Adding them for no reason isn't cowardice, it's intelligence
  5. Tell them to see how long they can kiss each other, and while they're distracted eat all the food
  6. Huh, I really thought Vaude would know out of anybody... He's based on Robb Stark from Game of Thrones And for anyone wondering, our M:F ratio is 36:22 I don't know what to think about that For one thing it's kind of ridiculous to think that there's 58 characters here It seems like more than there is. Of course, if Razgriz Air Squadron and the Crow's Eyes were condensed to one character each, then that would be 50 But that's still ridiculous It really doesn't feel like that many to me.
  7. The best way to cope with that is to ruin their times
  8. bye scrap I also find it amusing that no one has commented on Stark's obvious origin point
  9. oops just remembered my name's not Yuffie right now.
  10. Well I'm glad I can help out And they're not all werewolves, the vast majority of the werewolves are still enslaved. But if the vikings and Robin Hood's Band of Merry Men had children, then that would be Stark's army. So hopefully that will be good enough @Scrap How about we don't use that silver sword It's pretty sketchy We're all bros here right Eclaire for most unfaithful wife in world of tainted blood I find the image of a horde of women surrounding Mikhail amusing
  11. I hate the shorter ones to the point that I won't use them even if they're far better. Longer all the way.
  12. Cobica -- Seraphim Order Cobica looked to Yev. Well, he had certainly anticipated an interruption. Regardless, it seemed like things would still work out in the end. But he wouldn't get his fight... That was the true shame of the matter. Cobica smiled towards both of the other men as he walked closer to them. He clapped Jynn on the back. Hard. "Oh come now Your Grace. Surely you can put me down if I get out of hand, like a rabid animal. You are after all, a king. And a king who can't protect his people from a single man is probably worthless anyway." He said, his words harsh, but his tone light and mocking. The sarcasm present showed that he still did not believe Jynn's claims of royalty. Then again, that plane had come awful quick... No, any man with a heavy enough purse could do that. Hell, if anything it poked more holes in Jynn's story. If he was from so far away, then how did the plane come so quick? "Well my friends, it has been delightful, but I must be going. A first class ride awaits me, and I have a membership in the Mile High Club I've been waiting to cash in for a while. Tell Vort hi for me Yev. Ask him how Ava's treating him. Damn, I'd give a lot to have a beauty like that servicing me, I mean sleeping with me, I mean, in love with me. Of course. And Your Grace," Cobica was walking away now, but turned, and bowed to Jynn theatrically. "I certainly hope you are not lying. Horse heads don't look good on my wall." The Half-Breed glowed yellow for a second, then vanished from sight. Vortludo -- Seraphim Order "Why, that may be truthful." Vortludo began. "And quite complimentary as well, thank you my dear. But I'm afraid I'm not cut out for the higher up positions. There is something Cobica and Yevgeni have always had that I simply do not." Vortludo looked to the window, watching the world move. "The strength to make the right decision no matter the cost. My compassion, as you so put it, will always get in the way of that." He said. The airship rocked as it touched down. Vortludo looked again to Ava with a smile. "My lady, it would appear that we have landed." Vortludo stood from his seat, and walked over to his darling. He held out his arm for her to grab as the entrance ramp descended again. "Shall we be going now?" The Doctor -- Messiah The Doctor stood from his cot, brushing off the prison dust from his clothing. He walked out the cell, and over to Yltriss'. "Perhaps they will. But even if they don't, I'm sure you can recognize a simple fact about us right now. I am on the outside of my cell, whilst you sit on the inside of yours. You certainly appear and act smart, but this particular encounter has torn off your mask. You're pathetic my dear." He turned sharply to the left and began to walk to the Science Deck as he had been assigned. Before he rounded the corner, the Doctor shot some last words to the Elf. "I'll bring you something to curb your symptoms once I get a batch done. It should be of some assistance, though it won't cure you of all your afflictions." And then he was gone, a free man. He had some other ideas that would help out this small Rebellion, but he would share them another time, after he had earned himself a bit more influence.
  13. Don't get me started on themes, that's a whole lot of time I need to put into other things. Well Maybe I will anyway After this character though. Name:
Stark Red, the Young Wolf Gender:
 Male Age:
19 Side: Neutral. Leads a band of Forest Outlaws against the Empire. Race:
 Werewolf Appearance:
Wolf Form: Weapon (limit of two): A broadsword of excellent steel, that has yet to fail him. But if it does, he always his teeth and claws.
Tanzynite tonics (limit of three):
N/A Tanzynite Instigators (limit of three--experimental Tanzynite has a limitation of one, and only with prior approval):
N/A Race abilities (nothing too great or powerful, please: basic enhancements preferable): Can transform at will into a humanoid wolf, with razor sharp teeth and claws. These have been enchanted by a wizard in his service to be able to tear through armor like paper. Even while human, Stark has higher strength, speed, and senses than most men. He is also durable, capable of taking hits without going down. But when a wolf, these abilities are far increased, his capabilities incredible. Of course, this all comes at the normal problems. A loss of most of his mind, leaving only a general purpose and the bonds he has with others in place. A weakness to wolfsbane as well as silver. Magic (if any--I’m not providing any strict limitations, but please don’t have every possible magic available. If I feel your choices are too strong I may ask you to reduce them):
N/A Personality: Strict and honorbound, full of loyalty and passion. He's bull headed and decisive as well, stubborn to the end. He keeps his vows, no matter the cost, and fights to protect his pack and innocents. All others must earn his respect before he gives it to them. His trust must also be earned, and he gives it away freely to no one. Stark is driven by pride.
Backstory: A natural born werewolf of the Northern Woods. His people had been there for centuries, if not millenia. But that matters not to those Imperial thugs, naming themselves righteous conquerors. His people did not die. But they were enslaved. Good work horses after all. Once they were tamed, like wild animals. Even as a little boy, Stark could not stand this. It was a slight to his honor. Wolves were born to be free, not to work for humans. Stark could not stand this. So, once he gained complete control over his transformations, he escaped. Many an Imperial guard met their end on his claws that night. Stark awoke again, for to the North of Langerdon. He continued to travel this way, far to the sea. And then he decided that merely not taking the Imperial slight was not enough. No, they had to pay. For their wrongs, not only to him, but to all. It was easy to gain recruits. The Northerners were a proud people after all, and many felt the same as Stark. They rallied under him, and now, they await his orders. Orders to march on Langerdon. Purple I feel like I have another character in me, but for now Stark will be enough. Whilst he does lead another faction, it is very small. Larger than Messiah, but still much smaller than the Seraphim Order. I was actually wondering if an alliance with Messiah might be a decent plot point. They do need men after all. And yes, Cyler killed Shinobi. I very much like the way that Kuni put the actual events though. Murdering someone in cold blood while they lie helpless sounds like a very Cyler thing to do after all.
  14. I don't know how well that finding Rija thing is going to work out. She kind of left... Also Clone Neenas This is fantastic Hundreds of Neenas running about Oh the chaos
  15. Cobica -- Seraphim Order "Flashy... But flashy won't save you, your grace." The Half-Breed's last two words were so full of sarcasm if they were a bowl of cereal, the milk would have spilled over, along with several wheat flakes. This metaphorical cereal bowl was very similar to this man's body. About to spill it's fluids. Cobica rushed forward very quickly, bringing his blade down in a two handed vertical slash. Cobica followed through with the slice, the momentum carrying him forwards. He utilized this momentum when he leaped upwards, and sheathed his blade. Black and White appeared in his hands, fallen from his sleeves as he flipped in the air. He landed on the other side of Jynn, and fired off several rounds from each of his pistols. Yev wouldn't be happy about doing this. But screw him. He needed this adrenaline, this thrill. It had been too long since he had fought someone decent. And so far, it was already helping. Cobica felt alive! "Come on! Show me some more of that lightning! I need to charge my phone too, does your horse have an outlet on its ass?"
  16. The Doctor -- Messiah Julius Verstand opened his eyes to look across the hallway. Something was making some noise. Oh. Poor Yltriss was speaking with Eclaire... An interesting encounter to be certain. The Doctor yawned. Well perhaps he could still interact with someone a bit more interesting than an elderly elf on withdrawal. Personally, the Doctor had managed to sneak his own substance that erased tanzynite withdrawal symptoms. It truly was a shame that he only ever carried one dose on him. He moved to the bars of his cell. "You're being rather harsh aren't you Yltriss? Harsh and dramatic. I've never had any love for harsh drama queens, and Mademoiselle Tonnere seems to be the type that would agree with me. Also, as a note, everyone here is at worst, a traitor. Well, they're all killers, but in war, it isn't homicide, so that doesn't count. Traitors and rebels are the worst that this lot have to offer when it comes to criminal population. And personally, I'd regard murder and rape to be far worse a crime than treason. Overall, Yltriss, you're simply incorrect on a factual basis. Couldn't you just answer our captor's question? It would make it easier on me. And Gabe. I know that making things easier on Gabe is probably high on your to-do list, even if my well-being is of little consequence. Speaking of my well-being, Commander Eclaire if I could have your attention? Though I probably did have it already considering I interrupted you a tad... In any case, when are you letting me out of this cell? I've seen just about all of your soldiers, and I must say, they look to be about as intelligent as a brick wall. And that's if they put their heads together. You must need some help. I could be that help. You can look at any records, I was never trusted with the higher level materials. I was but a development goon in the eyes of Korben. I have only loyalty to the one that gives me the ability to do some work. And right now, in this cell, that's not you. It certainly could be though." He ended up rambling a tad... It had been a while since he'd had something to actually talk about. Talking was a delight. Ryonne -- Messiah Ryonne entered the meeting room. It was empty. Damn. Why did no one else ever arrive on time? Frustrated, the Swordsman took a seat, not in a position of any high regard, like one of the head's, or the seats next to that, but the middle. Just the middle. Sometimes that's what he felt like. Just the middle, the mediator, who was there because he was supposed to be. A soldier who carried orders and didn't ask questions. He wasn't Mikhail, constantly questioning and mocking everything and everybody, wasn't Rika, a cute little girl that was the center of all attention that was nearby, wasn't Fiora, the wife of the commander and thus earned as much respect and more affection than Eclaire herself. No, he was just Ryonne. The strong, silent type, who garnered no attention. Wasn't that what he wanted? To be the silent drive of the Rebellion, to serve the people of the world not from the balcony, not from the command tent, but from the frontlines? Yes. Before, when he didn't need attention. Because he got plenty from Viridem. But now... He shook his head. He was being a child, a selfish child. He needed to do what was best for Messiah, and if that required he follow the orders and do his duty, then that was what he would do. He didn't need any kind of reward like a puppy in training. The work should be reward enough. Cobica -- Seraphim Order "And I don't trust you." Cobica said clearly to the man. "I really don't." He then whispered to Yev. "My friend is right. Any idiot knows that there is no other world. There are two countries left. Elvish land, and Oryx's. And you aren't an elf. I'll give you that you carry yourself like some noble that has never shit for himself, but that could easily be an act." He waved to his blade. "Hence the sword. Fight like a king, and maybe I'll believe you. Well, that was the plan at least." The Half-Breed glanced to Yevgeni. "But I doubt that will be allowed now that my friend is here. Won't want me to kill a potential ally probably. But your story is lacking, and though a flying horse and a royal demeanor is certainly unique, it's nothing that couldn't be fabricated on the mainland. So either piss off because your cover's blown, or give me and my friend here something to actually believe." Vortludo -- Seraphim Order "Thank you kind child." Vortludo said to Krea as they departed, smiling to the rest of the crowd as they cheered for their departure. The Noble closed his eyes, memorizing the image, a crowd of happy people, some smiling for the first time in what must have been a very very long time. That was what he was fighting for. That and... He flipped the page of his mind backwards. Ava, her beautiful black hair framing the most wondrous smile as she offered a piece of banana bread. He thought he heard her say something, but did not quite catch it. Vortludo opened his eyes once more, and looked to his darling, question in his eyes. "My apologies my dear, but what did you say?" He asked as the airship took off, and headed back home. Kinzoku & Die and Naja of the Crow's Eyes -- New Empire "Of course your Grace." Die said with a nod. He stood and walked out of the room, Naja following behind him neatly and orderly. Once they had left, and were halfway up the stairs, Naja leaped up ahead of him, landing on stairs in front of her leader. "What are we actually going to do Die?" She asked, knowing that he had more on his mind. She had known him for long enough to tell that he had been thinking on something this time. "Exactly as he asked. Gain intel on the Seraphim Order." Die brushed her off, and began to continue up the stairs. Naja moved in front of him, and their eyes met. She challenged him with her glare. Die smiled. "And then we'll join them." Naja's eyes went wide with surprise, and she moved out of the way rather quickly. Die moved up the stairs, his cane thumping against the stairs in a near rhythmic fashion. "Come along, we must meet with the rest of the Crows." He said. Back in the throne room, Kinzoku groaned when Isaac gave his orders. "4 in the morning! I'm not some morning songbird!" She jested loudly, but no one paid her any heed. In exasperation, she levitated the metal chair in which she sat, and left the room, manipulating the doorknob when the time came. She was supposed to find other mages... Well, that was definitely something she could do. She smiled. But it wasn't her typical smile... No, there was something far more malicious behind this one. She vanished away into her room, still seated on the chair. Neena -- Tanzynite Crusade "Hmph." Neena grunted in a hybrid emotion of affirmation and resignation. She turned off the burner, and grabbed some bowls. She poured half of the pan's contents into each bowl, then stuck a spoon in each. She took hers and moved to the tv. She flicked it on, and the news began. "Dinner's served. Chicken stir fry." She said to Henry. "As for a goal like that... I think it's definitely a good idea. I'll keep an ear out." The Assassin agreed with Henry's point of view. Neena began to enjoy the dinner she cooked, doing her best to imagine that she was in a better place than the rundown shithole she was currently residing in, and in better company than this idiot corrupted experiment she had for a partner. Well... He was alright company. She had to give him that. And he had fallen down to the bottom of her kill list. Best for last after all."
  17. Not necessarily Cloning is already possible in our world Just not ethical. If we can do it with our science, then it probably wouldn't be difficult for a typical doctor in this world. After that all would be necessary is a Hyperbolic Time Chamber for growth(aside from the soul obv), which the Doctor and Gabriel couldn't really help with anyway. WOAH WAIT we could do star wars get a clone army up in here
  18. I'm glad you guys figured out exactly where I was going with this. I was thinking that Ryonne would encounter Kaspar and would then work with him in order to retrieve Viri who then isn't herself because necromancy sucks. I don't know about the spy thing though, doesn't seem very Ryonne-like. It might be better with flat out betrayal. Idk I'll have to think on it. In other news, Neena is ruthless to unfaithful boyfriends.
  19. So.... All of Shulk's characters are yours? In any case, I had a ship. Then I killed her off. And Scrap, we got Neenry and you have Gabetriss so shhhh Also, ooh necromancer We could have an interesting storyline between Ryonne and Kaspar
  20. Mother of Dragons for President 2016
  21. Daenerys Targaryen is my new favorite badass
  22. Name: Viola Mors Age: 18 Race: Human Gender: Female Appearance: Personality: Very harsh and stubborn, but in a way that shows just how much she cares. She has a sharp desire to prove herself as well as help others. She is intelligent, and enjoys learning. Her most obvious social weaknesses lie in the way she has a hard time expressing herself through normal means. Bio: A mage student from the city, she has just recently graduated from the academy and is seeking out glory. Weapons: None, save a short metal rod that serves as her wand. Genetic Traits: Can learn new things faster than most Powers: Specialty: Sorcery: a wide ranging knowledge of general magic. She knows mostly simple charms such as a levitating spell. (Charms are spells like you would see in Harry Potter.) Sorcery encompasses much more than this though, and is the collection of ancient magics, before people put organized and systematic research and development into it. For means of self defense she uses fire magic, the summoning and manipulation of flames. Signature Attack: Flaming Diffindo: A magic cutting attack bolstered by flames. Is essentially a magical flaming slash. Ready Also on good guy side
