  1. This isn't shocking, considering that they have been making a push to get all the games available on PC. I'm not a PC gamer, but it is awesome that they will also have a chance to play.
  2. It's true, I am going to be having weekly packages from Amazon for quite a while. I'm going to be taking up a lot of extra shifts for a while haha
  3. The next few months in general are going to be fantastic. This is one of the strongest first halves of the year I have seen in a while.
  4. It's still a shame with no Vita version outside of Japan, but I'm still excited nonetheless.
  5. Final Fantasy XV looks to be one of the most impressive (if not the most impressive) graphically achieved game thus far in all of video games. It is looking very photo realistic at this point. Also need to give shoutouts to Uncharted 4: A Thief's End & Rise of the Tomb Raider, both of which look stunning.
  6. I could see Nomura doing that to bridge the gap between KH3 & 4. It isn't anything that is necessary, but it would be nice to have.
  7. All the information you can expect between now and E3 will be: 1) Unchained X seeing a release overseas 2) Interviews with Nomura or Yasue (Most likely concerning 2.8 exclusively) E3 will be the first opportunity for them to showcase any new trailer and major info, as there are only PAX events between now and then, which are mostly focused on Indie titles.
  8. As someone who lives in Utah where there is snow about 4-6 months of the year, I can tell you that I absolutely despise it. It doesn't matter what amount there is (which there is usually a lot), we are still expected to go to work and school on top of the hours of shoveling that we have to do and braving the roads. Maybe if I lived somewhere where snow was taken seriously I wouldn't mind it, but here it is just an inconvenience on top of any other day
  9. It is a really ridiculous number for me, mostly because this year is filled to the brim with games for me (it has the chance to be my biggest year of gaming yet). This is not even taking into account that I plan on being an early PlayStation VR and Nintendo NX adopter. This summer I am working the max hours at my job and probably taking up a second job so I can keep up with all these games. I am super excited for 2016, but it will definitely drain my pockets.
  10. Kingdom Hearts 3 will not be episodic. Hitman was always advertised as being episodic (and it actually will probably work well for that game). We still have no idea what this FF7 Remake will include (just FF7 or maybe the whole FF7 collection), so it is possible that it could work in that format as well. Episodic is not a bad model in of itself, it is all dependent on how a company uses it. If a game is priced fairly and episodes come within a reasonable amount of time, it is okay. It is possible for future KH games to be episodic, but you can rest easy knowing that KH3 will definitely not be episodic.
  11. Man oh man this got me super excited. This will easily be the best 3DS game of the year for me, and that is taking into account that there will probably be a new pokemon game and two dragon quest games. And since NA has to wait till April, guess I will take the opportunity to revisit the original game.
  12. Right now it is a dead split between FFXV and Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. Notable mentions are Horizon: Zero Dawn, Setsuna, and Uncharted 4
  13. Today Nintendo confirmed that Bravely Second: End Layer would be coming to North America on April 15th, close to two months after it releases in Europe and barely squeaking in under a year of the Japanese release. Nintendo also confirmed that a 10-hour playable demo will be released, which will include a seperate story and have transfer bonuses to the main game. Sadly, no release date for the demo as of yet. A Collector's Edition was also announced, which will include a 250 page artbook and a 10 song soundtrack. This CE is nearly identical to the one being released in Europe, although this one does not include the Agnes figure. The CE is set to retail for $70.
  14. I'm just calling it right now...Sora's finishing move will be shoving the x-blade through Xehanort's heart.
  15. The Legend of Dragoon. It was my first introduction to the JRPG genre and I could not have started with a better game. I have played the game countless times and it has yet to lose any of its charm. It will likely be my most cherished game of all time.
  16. LR is probably my favorite because it felt the most rewarding. With the limited amounts of slots it made me really think about how I wanted to play. If I wanted to debuff enemies, I had to make a conscious choice to pick debuff skills over a magic or attack skill, rather than having a character who was a master of debuffs that I could have in the party. While I really appreciate and love each battle system in the series for their own merits, LR was where I truly had the most rewarding experience.
  17. And somehow NA has yet to receive a release date, even though it is literally the same version as Europe... I do not understand the industry at times.
  18. I would love Lightning to be in the game, but I don't want them to throw her in there and give her a stupid role. If she has a real purpose in the game (or even just being an NPC Easter Egg) then I am completely on board.
  19. Swim This Way was a terrible way to start things off, I actually don't even mind all the others (I actually quite like Ursula's Revenge).
  20. It isn't surprising to see that it is Europe only, Bandai Namco highly favors Europe and they always get collections that no one else does. The platform choice is not odd at all, as this is likely just bundling the games rather than doing anything to them (like remastering anything), and since the original was only on PS3, it makes sense that they stick with the PS3 format.
  21. This is going to be a great year for the RPG & JRPG genre, which means my bank account is a goner. RIP
  22. I think Sheep Raider would have been a great addition, as it was a very creative game for the time.
  23. Amazon.com is now offering its Prime Members 20% off all of their video game pre-orders. This is likely a reply to Best Buy's gamer card which offers the same benefit. The offer also applies while a game is within its launch window, which is two weeks after it's release. This is a genius move on Amazon's part as it encourages gamers to join Prime and it is a very nice gesture to those of us who are already Prime members. After going through and re-doing my pre-orders on games (it may automatically apply to existing pre-orders, but I wanted to be safe) I can tell you that it will already be saving me a ton of money, even if you were to take away the cost of my Prime Membership. Thought I would let you all know in case it makes a difference to you.
  24. I would love to go someday, but unfortunately I am not part of any media outlet so it will be a while before I have a chance of going.
